And there, right in the splash zone, stood Karma, her entire front soaked. For a brief moment, the world felt frozen, Nyssala staring in horror as the crimson liquid dripped from Karma’s hair, running down her armor in slow, slimy trails.

“Oh, no...” Nyssala whispered, stepping back in a weak attempt to distance herself from the disaster she caused.

Karma’s expression was unreadable for a moment, as if processing what just happened. Nyssala, on the other hand, was already panicking internally. Why did I touch it? Why couldn’t I just leave it alone? But her curiosity had, once again, gotten the better of her.

“Karma, I swear I didn’t — well, maybe I did... but I didn’t think it would do that!” Nyssala’s voice was frantic, hands gesturing wildly as she tried to explain herself. Sensing her partner’s growing irritation, she sheepishly grinned. “I mean... at least we know that, uh, touching that thing was... informative?”

Karma’s glare could’ve pierced through steel.

my best friend is about to finish her first bg3 playthrough and is currently around 70 hours in. I’m also on my first playthrough and just released the nightsong in act 2. I’m at 146 hours. I truly can’t fathom how she has gotten through things so quickly in comparison. there’s so many things to see! people to talk to! vases to look in! crates to look in. can’t forget skeletons to loot. vases to look in. mushrooms and plants to forage. vases to look in. opulent chests to open. more vases to look in. oh, and vases to lo
