My cat is currently cuddling me, purring and biting me affectionately whilst typing this.

Now imagine Logan doing this to Wade. He's got his claws partially unsheathed and is pawing at the hand Wade is holding his phone with. Logan tries pulling Wade's hand towards him whilst moving his head in that direction at the same time. Wade has to switch hands and lets Logan just chew on his fingers. It doesn't hurt much so it's fine. Little nomming noises are coming from Wolvie's mouth which can be heard over whatever tv show is playing in the background. They stay like that until Wade decides it's tea time and Logan follows him to the kitchen, ready for his food

Mitch, did you feel nervous about giving Curry her meds by yourself for the first time?

I know I did the other day when I started giving Menan her meds for her bladder infection without help, which I actually finished the other day. I had to swaddle her in two layers of towels (they're both small, plus I had to fold them in half as they're both on the thin side) so she couldn't tear her way out. It took me a while to figure out how to get her to take her meds, but it worked. I used an oral syringe the vet kindly provided me because I didn't wanna risk getting bitten trying to get Menan to take pills.

It felt nerve-racking at first, but it all went off without a hitch. I made sure to reward Menan with treats every time she took her meds.

Fortunately, Curry has been in very good health all her life (save for becoming underweight and scratched up during her 3-week adventure outside) so I've never had to give her any medication. When I was a teenager, I did have to give pills to one of my cats who has since passed away- I was definitely not taught how to do it correctly, and I remember that it was always a big fight and very stressful for both of us 😫 Having to do something not-so-fun to your pet for the sake of their health is always hard, but I'm really glad that it went smoothly for you both, and I hope Menan responds to the meds and gets better very soon! 🤗💖
