Teddy would do anything to keep someone as brilliant as Sirius in his life. When Sirius and his Da seem to hit it off, the idea is only solidified. Teddy Lupin was going to make Sirius Black his second father, and nothing was going to stop him from achieving his goal.

BONUS: This fic features both of them fighting fires as part of the wizarding war, so not sure if it counts but am including it anyway.

if you read me, you know...i do not write angst. i have one (1) fic where i stepped out of my lane and wrote angst-lite. it's not even really angst, but more moody atmospheric. and interestingly enough, the most purple i've prosed. my beta was like, peach, what? the weed which strings the hangman's bag

What is a fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

pfft, all my fics have the happiest endings.

Do you get hate on fics?

nope. i did get hate on a supportive/love comment i left on a friend's fic once. that's, like, 7th circle of hell troll behavior to be hating on a comment.

i do write smut, yes. my smut has been described as [insert various descriptors like "inferno", "blazing", "scorching", and lots of🔥] hot paired with soft/romantic/sweet. i.e. fluffy smut. smuff.

recently, i've had the immense pleasure of listening to my fics read aloud in published podfics. and let me say, this is a brilliant way to spot weaknesses. and while my banter may be good, sometimes i maybe inject too much action into my conversations. it disrupts the flow. also, long, plotty fics ellude me. i'm a pantser/gardner style writer and plotting/outlining makes me hyperventilate.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

yes, if used sparingly, and in such a way that i (as an english only speaker) can intuit what is being said. and also if translations are provided as a footnote. i've got a french-speaking Draco in my Dron fics [1] [2], where he lapses in the heat of passion.

YEPPPP ive tried straightening my hair too and found out it looks fuckinf weird bc my hair is also very thin and only the curls make up for its complete lack of thickness or volume. And doing a chemjcal relaxant + flat iron every day absolutely KILLED my hair... For a bday present in middle school i got my hair straightened so i could also get a purple feather put in it because that was the trend.. but u cant put feathers in curly hair that u need to brush so thoroughly or they pull straight out... unless you are willing to do a hair care routine that takes longer than a full face of makeup, straightening curlyy hair is a death sentence for ur poor hair. I was wearing a tumbleweed for the next year until all the gross dead frizz FINALLY grew out enough to cut off.

anyway it is totally unfair how difficult it is for curly hair bitchez to have a cool scene or emo hairstyle . Every time i look up smthn like "curly emo hair men" theres this one kid from tiktok with an overgrown mop of frizzy as fuck curls that were clearly brushed while dry w no fuckin product in at all. Like. I dont want this. Can i have literaly anything but this

Are you named after anyone? At one point in time, I was told I was named after a nurse at my sibling's birth. I've also been told that is false. I've never been given an alternate explanation. I think the answer is no.

I know I teared up at @quietlemonhush's last chapter of gathering home last night (I see you @second-sister) but I think I cried earlier today over a movie? Or a sad post? Eh. I'm fine. Completely normal. NBD.

Do you have kids? I do! I've got two little muchkins who are *literally* the best (they're at daycare right now. ask me when they get home and I guarantee they'll be the worst).

Do you use sarcasm a lot? I've never met her.

What is the first thing you notice about people? If they are wearing clothes (they usually are)

What color are your eyes? A blueish/greenish hazel color. More green than blue.

Scary movies or happy endings? Happy ending, for sure, but I like horror too. Only, I'm suuuuuuper picky about my horror movies.

Any special talents? I am talentless.

Where were you born? In a hospital

What are your hobbies? Gestures generally to trash blog. And AO3.

What sports do you play/have you played? Excuse you. I was in marching band. I've played basketball, softball, and volleyball, but I'm generally not a sports ball person.

It’s Thursday and the start of everything dire.

2. A Spark [Astoria/Percy, G, 200]

Years after the war, Percy bumped into Astoria in the St Mungos waiting room.

3. More Than Ready [Astoria/Pansy, E, 200]

“And then,” said Pansy, flicking her tongue, “you should get a tingly sensation, almost like you have to pee. Don’t worry, that’s completely normal. Just go with it.”

4. Fly [Dean/Blaise, T, 200]

Blaise was tending to the Abraxans in the stables when he found him — curled into a ball, wearing filthy rags, grass and twigs woven into that once beautiful hair.

So, what have I learned from this activity? I love short and simple sentences as my first lines I guess. It's also pretty mixed between dialogue and description. Mostly past tense, all 3rd person POV. Very interesting.

currently reading : Surrender the Grey by emmagrant01 - second part of the Left My Heart drarry series. I’ve been digging through the archives lately trying to find all the gems, this one was published back in 2005! Written before HBP. I’m enjoying it a lot!!

I’m also making my way through @hd-wireless which is pumping out amazing works, Before the Cold Sets In by (currently) Anonymous is one of my faves so far, but they’ve all been brilliant!

currently watching : I just finished a rewatch of Malcolm in the Middle! But I also just watched a few things on my trip back from Fiji, The Lost King which focuses on how they managed to find King Richard III body under a car park in Leicester. And I also watched Don’t Worry Darling which I also loved a lot.

current favourite character : Lestat 🧡 He’s the worst

current WIPs : too many. actively my Scorpius / Harry fic Closure (which I’ve not updated since early 2022) I have every intention of returning to it, and the storyline still lives rent free in my mind. I’m also in the midst of two drarry fics, one which involves memory loss! Draco, and the other where Draco is cursed into a dragon if he doesn’t find ❤️❤️❤️
