WHAT IT REALLY MEANS TO BE DIFFERENT:
If you want to live a different (and better) life than most, you need to think, experience, feel and act differently - and while versions of this maxim might be so well known that it is now a cliché, most people who theoretically know better only pay lip service to it, often without noticing it themselves:
Their illusory self image is one of "being different", but their everyday experiences and results are pretty average or below average.
One of the main reasons for this is that we can easily get trapped in the scene that we are part of, the "culturescape", as Vishen Lakhiani calls it - our peer group, our surroundings, the place we live at, the conditionings we unconsciously receive by our native or adopted country/region/city/village, our family, our friends and organisations or interest groups or professional networks we are part of. All of these come with unconscious paradigms of what it as means to "be different" - but those paradigms are actually agents of normality, of fitting in, of being accepted by the respective group.
If you really want to "be different" and get extraordinary results in your business and life, you need to, at least temporarily, cast yourself out of nearly everything you are used to.
You need to make the individual and collective unconscious more conscious, and face your normal and your average - and expose yourself to completely out of the ordinary sources of thinking and experiencing and behaving, so you can craft your very own meaningful differences in your life.
For "being different" is not enough - your truly different path leads you to becoming YourSelf, only better.

Every Work of Art
“Every work of art is a culturescape of you, your memories, the moments you spent working, your hopes, energies, and neuroses, the times you live in, and your ambitions. Of the things that are engaging, mysterious, meaningful, resistant over time.” ― Jerry Saltz, How to Be an Artist Digitally enhanced image, Hendrick©2022 Finally, I got a gallery set up. I have to explore more because I am still…

Authentic
How much of your time is spent being an authentic you? How much is spent acting like you feel our culture determines you to be?   How is that identity even established? What difference does it make?  So much of our time is spent developing this persona, which, when examined closely, isn’t very real at all.  We create this imposter ourselves by trying to fit into the roles our culture demands.  Go…

Not too bad a little documentary. Oddly enough, many things shown in the video are both yet to be achieved and six feet under, simultaneously.

Everything We Call “Life” is Made Up
Steve Jobs once said “Everything around you that you call life, was made up by people no smarter than you. And you can change it. You can influence it..once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again”
Our concepts of work, 9 to 5, love, marriage, success, mindfulness, politics and more - exist solely in our heads as words and context passed down from generation to generation. By people who did not know any better.
And so the world that we live in isn’t ‘real’.  It’s happening solely in our minds - a series of labels and definitions, beliefs and values, rituals and social indoctrination.
The MEANING you give them are almost entirely determined by where you were born, and the culture you were raised in. And you can escape this tangled web that I call the “Culturescape”. Watch the video to find out how to “wake up”.

In this module of Extraordinary By Design, we're looking at our love relationships. If you'd like to learn more, try Extraordinary By Design for free today: http://bit.ly/2cSGoMX IMPORTANT TIMESTAMPS: 02:44 Marry someone from the same 03:51 Love should only between only a man & a woman 08:32 Vision that you need to have for your love relationship 11:40 Recommended books on Love connection & Relationship Love relationships are part of your experience list, and perhaps the most important category of experience we want to define. Why? Well, according to a Harvard study, the number one correlation with happiness out of everything in life, is the strength of your relationships. So we're going to explore love, because it has so much opportunity for happiness... but at the same time is so restricted by the bullshit rules of the culturescape. First, we'll identify your existing beliefs about love and relationships, and then we'll discuss new systems that help you generate better loving relationships with others, and a better loving relationship with yourself. We'll be challenging two of the biggest brules about love, and after this training you'll feel liberated and empowered to define this area of your life on your own terms. And finally, we will go through an exercise to help you set end goals in this area. If you'd like to learn more, try Extraordinary By Design for free today: http://bit.ly/2cSGoMX
