Sherlock

Just watched the Final Problem, which was no easy feat considering I’m in France atm. It was definitely interesting af but like I kind of expected more? But what exactly I don’t know. They packed a lot into the 90minutes so I don’t think I expected more plot wise but maybe development??

I wasn’t AS hooked as I was watching 4x02.

Also there were too many gaps. Them not having any serious injuries after that bomb went off, Eurus some how having gotten John chained in a well?? And constructed a fake house for Sherlock?? Like WHAT. I know you have to suspend belief but if I’m suspending belief for this surely Moriarty could have come back?

Whilst I would have loved to have Moriarty back I like how they didn’t play into that back from the dead thing that so many shows do which is super unrealistic. Having said that...a lot of things weren’t very realistic this episode. Like how they escaped the flat seemingly without a scratch?? If Eurus could control people or change their thinking, why did she prefer to stay inside the facility?? Also how did they just gloss over her killing so many people? Three men died, also the officer and his wife. The little girl in the plane was annoying af so makes sense it was her tbh. I kept thinking ... ?? Sherlock is going so hard for a little girl he’s never met? What kind of emotional connection??

Also wasn’t Eurus supposed to dislike her lil bro if she wanted him dead as a kid?? :/

I seriously would love another season of this show but hope they go back in the direction of solving cases again. Kind of like HTGAWM or Scandal (back when I watched Scandal). These shows had a very original premise and veered way off track. With HTGAWM, they’re still hot and it could work but would prefer more cases as well...that’s how they’ll have longevity, for example NCIS, Law and Order, CSI...stick to what you know! There’s a reason I haven’t watched Scandal for seasons.
