Rendering practice. Cooler shades just happens to be easier for me to work with, that and I figured out how to do it in black and white first then play with layer filters.

This really allowed me to focus on shades rather than color, so getting in those extra details that I would've missed is refreshing.

Leif was also a good subject since I was already in the mood to draw bugs, he has a nice mixture of textures.

Okay I know the ghost rules are pretty iffy in this show but this one is particularly baffling.

This is Edwin telling her "Crystal, try to move him!" and she responds "I'm trying!"

Why is it on the living girl to move the ghost? Wouldn't Edwin be better able to interact with Charles, hypothetically?

i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

I wonder at what point the "watching Ninjago installment then jumping straight to DR" thing gets too fucking ridiculous... like you could skip from season 10 to DRs1, and would only be missing SOME context, but then what if ya took it further? What if you stopped at season 5 or 6, then went to DR? Or what if you stopped at season TWO then jumped straight into DR... how would that even FEEL...

having some thoughts about zutara + renegade. specifically thinking about “you’ve come a long way, open the blinds, let me see your face, you wouldn’t be the first renegade to need somebody” and katara trying to bond with zuko by teasing him in teip or by bring out what she thought was his baby picture and being the one to invite zuko into the group hug in sozin’s comet, you know… because i am so normal.
