I'm noticing that [adult swim] is getting more female-oriented nowadays. yolo, birdgirl, them rescuing tuca and bertie, unicorn warriors eternal having a female lead and romantic subplot, my adventures with superman pretty much being a shojo, sailor moon airing on the toonami rewind block, invincible fight girl, women wearing shoulder pads.

considering that Mike Lazzo infamously said that women aren't funny and refused to hire them, I see this an absolute win. he must be sooooo angry right now lol

Okay, Here me out.

They are both gay, there both ghosts, there both British and rather posh (I can imagine Edwin calling anyone with a shortened name the longer version if that makes sense), both have a girl with her head in the clouds (in a nice way) as a friend, both fell for someone they can't have (or can 😈) both tried to kick out a woman at the start, but that woman eventually grew on them, and would both be around the same age if they were alive

i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

I know this is not the point, but the way even as her past-self Crystal Palace still bonded with a ghost and showed her kindness to the extent that said ghost goes for help when she starts acting off.

oh my god.... I desire this reality. They deserved to have a best friend, not just in the wilderness but in school. In a perfect beautiful world, they were able to find each other through a theatre club or playing minesweeper on the library computers before school. I imagine them having constant sleepovers and doing weird girl activities together. Drawing characters that they make together, teaching each other monologues and songs, watching movies, drawing stupid doodles on people's yearbook photos.

Something tells me they would engage in stalking together. Like they'd both get a crush on the same person and instead of fighting they'd figure out the person's schedule and follow them around together, giggling and being weird. Then have the most diabolical gossip session afterwards, squealing about how bad they want to be romanced.

I think they kissed once or twice, but only for "practice" or for a game or to prove a point. They probably did it so they can both say they've had their first kiss. They both liked it WAYYYY too much but they're not going to say that!!!! Because they're just besties! Absolutely besties with nothing else gay going on!!!!

Ugh thank u for this ask I love rotating them in my brain. It makes me so happy to think about these weird girls finding solidarity within each other. Crusty forever <3333
