yellowjackets is about finding your coven. yellowjackets is about spending the rest of your life without a home. yellowjackets is about the girl you never had the courage to kiss. yellowjackets is about the violence that comes with trying to be good. yellowjackets is about survival. yellowjackets is about being forced to smile for the camera with the same teeth you use to tear through your lover. yellowjackets is about being a girl. yellowjackets is about having to face the worst parts of yourself.

don’t think of him going home. going into his baby brother’s room and vomitting for hours. don’t think of him trying to explain why there is no corpse.

hello friends, i wanted to ask a question!!

i am a semi fem presenting person, i am AFAB and use she/they pronouns. But, i have started to get small weird feelings about my gender and i kind of want to see how it feels to be referred to as male? and like have people referring to me in a masculine way. I thought tumblr would be the best bet for this since there is a lot of queer people here and y’all don’t know who i am IRL? i just wanted to know if this is insensitive or like offensive to the trans community

Okay, realistically Van is very anti technology. I don’t think she would have an instagram but I could see her having one she occasionally posts on for her shop. I also like to think of Van as sort of a beacon of knowledge of queer cinema and just life lessons n shit. I think younger queer people in the oberlin scene flock to her and she calls them her “kids”! I did base a bit of this instagram off of a manager I had in the past working at a theater, and on various queer people i’ve met in my life. I do think I got her spirit down pretty well, but since she is the adult we’ve got the least screen time with (excluding travis, rip) it was a little hard to nail down her voice!!

yeth.

this one was the easiest i’ve made! also, i added the tag “margo’s fake instagrams” to all of my fake social media accounts for yellowjackets characters. I try to make these as accurate to the characters as possible, but still being humorous. Misty’s was super fun to do and i think really similar to her character. However, I don’t think Misty would ever have a social media with her name attached to it because of how cautious and worried she is about the law/ putting herself or friends in danger. So!! You have to suspend your disbelief for that bit, but everything else is pretty spot on i think :) (i headcanon misty loving minions)
