Staring at my family history book I couldn't help but smile. You see my family has a very interesting history. It all started in 1642 with my ancestor Emily Arachnid. Emily had a husband she loved and adored and she had a daughter who was her everything. One day Emily came home early from the park and found her husband Benjamin in bed with another woman.

To say Emily was devastated would be an understatement. She told Benjamin she was taking Rose and leaving and that she'd make sure everyone knew what he had done. Very brave for a woman in her time period. Unfortunately Benjamin was from a wealthy family and he was a man so he accused Emily of being a spellcaster and that was all the town needed. Emily was burned at the stake.

What Benjamin didn't know is that Emily did come from a family of spellcasters. It just skipped Emily. Her sister Anna wasn't about to let what happened to Emily go unpunished. She decided to protect Rose and every descendant from Emily's line by casting a spell of vengeance. The spell made it so that all of us would be irresistible to men.

It also sowed a seed of rage and darkness in us all. As she grew older Rose began to feel the effects of the spell and when Anna told her everything Benjamin became Rose's first victim. Emily was an innocent woman who lost everything for loving the wrong man and for generations we have all made it our mission to cause as much chaos and pain as was caused to her.

We seduce men, marry them take everything they have and then kill them. The spell protects us from ever getting caught for our murders. The only men we are ever capable of truly loving are our sons or brothers. Everyone else is just a plaything.

Rose started keeping a family history book so we would all remember what happened all those centuries ago and why we are the way we are including our black hair with red in it. She dubbed us the black widows. And for generations we have all recorded our storied and our victims. Now it is my turn and I can't wait to play.

My D&D OC:

Alak’niss Rilynath: FTM noble, Sorcerer/Wizard Arachnomancer and Arch-Mage of Sorcere. Had a dalliance with Gromph Baenre, and assassinated the arch-mage who succeeded him (Pharaun Mizzrym) to assume the title of Archmage at Sorcere, having an advantage in doing so for his female anatomy. Fearfully referred to as the ‘Spider King’, as rumours say he is a ‘Consort of Lolth’, having been ‘kissed by the Spider Queen,’ as the only House Patron to be given the advantage of being blessed with a female form at birth, part of his body also naturally armoured with a spider-like carapace, which spread with his use of magic. He is also feared for his jet black hair, which, in Drow Society, is said to be a bad omen - and a bad omen he was, indeed, for the Rilynath House, as when they sought to eliminate him for the ‘treachery’ of his transition, he picked them off one by one until only he was left.

And the corpses unside still has a heart beat...

When danny became the ghost king, as a precaution in cause the Disband GIW were to find his dead body and possibly desecrated and dissect it. He had put plans to send his corpse into the middle of space of another dimension for safekeeping until later. Frostbite help made a special casket large enough as he had told Danny that his corpse body will grow into his true form.

He gotten help from the ghostly arachnids to make the finest silk clothes for his corpse along with extinct flowers across the ghostzone. That even got Dani and Dan wanted to leave their corpses with danny for safekeeping and to keep him company.

That was literally eon ago in time in Danny's dimension timeline..

Only until the casket bumped into watchtower.

There was three bodies whom seem to be sleeping in a cuddle like pile, holding each other hands. A white hair man, a teenage boy and a young girl wearing royal like silk clothes, floating aurora like crowns on their heads, and flowers extinct yet still thriving in the casket as they remain blooming.

Only for superman to say something that made everyone panic a bit.

Cystisoma has a complex visual system, with curtain-like retinas containing special structures called rhabdoms. Yandere Hardshell

The bug decepticon isn’t known for liking humans. He’s a powerful, arrogant bot known for felling many wreckers- so when a human found the signal to attract them, he was furious. 

Since Arachnid had died, they lived on Earth in their own colony. One day they heard a noise that lured them away to a home in the middle of the country. A human sat on the porch of the home, playing with what seemed like a small Cybertronian receiver. It had all sorts of wires hanging out of it.

Hardshell immediately landed with a heavy thump in front of the home, scaring the human badly. The human shook with fear as many other huge robots dropped down onto her land. 

Hardshell clicked a few times in irritation before speaking. “You… are you the one who summoned us here?” 

“I…what?” You looked confused, unsure of what was currently happening. You were terrified that one wrong move would result in death. Suddenly, you jostled the radio, and the Insecticons froze. They suddenly scooped you up, flying away with your receiver in your arms. 

They brought you to a cave, calling you their Queen and getting you anything they thought you’d like, including a glowing blue crystal. 

“Please, I just… I just want to go home.” 

“No. Queen must stay here.” Hardshell spoke aggressively. He truly meant no harm- he was only protecting the future of the colony. The Queen would give them guidance. 

Hardshell wasn’t the only one guarding your every move- it was the entire colony. You’d never leave, so long as you were their Queen- even in death.

An adult human skull with a deformity that seems to have bloated its very skull,along with being riddled with bone cancer. Looking through its eyes will allow you to see the entire color spectrum,and will deeply boost all your senses to superhuman levels for the next 7 hours. Works more than once

A woodcutting axe whose blade is made from a black metal,upon its handle the words "δώρο του Ηφαίστου" are carved. When it strikes something with considerable force it'll turn it,or a portion of it as big as a car,into many metals. Whether precious or mundane the metals will be pure and of rather high quality. Striking a being with it will turn it into a metallic zombie made out of mostly the black metal. These zombies seek fruit constantly and don't have any goals beside that

A 1 foot tall barrel. It refills each dusk. Inside it is an effervescent purple juice. Anyone who drinks it will fall asleep for 1 year. However time will not pass while they sleep,and they'll awake fully healed of any wounds,healthier than they ever were. Using it will also stop disabilities for the next month before they slowly return

A small tea packet of crushed melon seeds. Upon drinking a cup you will be able to derive all sustenance from light and water,and never run out of oxygen in your body. Once you reach the age of 77 you'll start growing more and more plant features until you fully become a plant

A set of cutlery made out of dinosaur bone.eating food with it will slowly add to your strength,indefinitely growing stronger until you can output a force 24 times stronger than any human. Physical training improves the strength accordingly,and you can turn off the power to train

A jar with a deformed,sharp tooth the size of a hand inside. By stabbing something with the tooth and placing it back in the jar you can take over the body of the creature stabbed. These new bodies will not rot,age or need sustenance while you aren't using them

An assortment of 7 clay colored penguin statuettes,all a different size. Unscrewing the top half reveals that they each contain a statuette of a duck wearing a suit. Sleeping with them in the room will make them come away and do house chores for you while you sleep,returning to their places when you wake

A pair of display pieces of a sword and a shield,both comedically jagged,edgy and over the top looking. No crimes will be done in your home while these are inside unless you want them to happen

Mainline Pokémon Games Based on How Buggy They Are: A Thread

Red, Blue, & Yellow

Pretty buggy. The Butterfree line set the stage for regional bugs and emotional trauma. Everybody loves Scyther. Inspired use of Cordyceps when designing the Parasect line. Kabuto and Kabutops should have been Bug to honor trilobites for founding Arthropoda. 8/10.

Gold, Silver, & Crystal

Yes, we had Scyther, but what about second Scyther? Scizor, Heracross, and Shuckle are legends. Game Freak decided to invite arachnids (Spinarak and Ariados) to the party, truly redefining what it means to be buggy. 9/10.

Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald

This generation is loaded with bugs! Game Freak realized their mistake in not giving the Kabutops line Bug typing, making up for it with Anorith and Armaldo (who are based on Anomalocaris). They fumble the recovery, however, in not only depriving the Flygon line of Bug typing, but forever making them second fiddle to the Salamence line. The Beautifly, Dustox, and Ninjask lines introduce some interesting approaches to Bug-type evolution. Volbeat and Illumise are there. 7.8/10.

Diamond, Pearl, & Platinum

DELELELELELEWHOOOOOOP! A smaller collection of bugs this gen, but a well-rounded one. Vespiquen slays. Scorpions get some love via Skorupi, Drapion, and Gliscor. Writing this post is making me realize that slugs, snails, and nudibranchs like the Magcargo and Gastrodon lines aren’t bugs. We grew up thinking snails were bugs, right? Anyway, Yanmega rules. 8/10.

Black, White, Black 2, White 2

Game Freak’s magna opera. Truly the buggiest games there are. While you have to wait until Pinwheel Forest to encounter your first bugs, you’re rewarded upon arrival with Sewaddle and Venipede, the larvae of the Leavanny and Scolipede lines. From there, you encounter the Crustle, Galvantula, and Volcarona lines. Game Freak has some more fun with Bug evolutions, having Karrablast steal Shelmet’s armor as they evolve into Escavalier and Accelgor (inspired by the real-world interactions between the ground beetle family Carabidae and the gastropods they feed on). Durant is our first proper ant, and we get our first (and only . . . ) legendary / mythical Bug in Genesect. These games made Bug my favorite type. 10/10.

X & Y

A big step down from the previous generation. This game hardly has any bugs. Do you like butterflies? You get a butterfly. Vivillon is a lovely butterfly that comes in all sorts of colors, but SURELY there are more bugs than that in France. 6/10.

Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon

Giant isopods! Diving bell spiders! Giraffe stag beetles! A true return to form. While the native bugs of Alola are great, we are also introduced to the ultra beasts, two of which (Buzzwole and Pheromosa) are really cool bugs. It seems they were going for wasps and bee flies when designing the Naganadel and Ribombee lines, but they don’t really work for me. Faint blemishes on an otherwise buggy generation. 8.5/10.

Sword & Shield

Centiskorch is the greatest Pokémon ever made. I have them tattooed on my arm. Blipbug is the worst Pokémon ever made. I see them in my nightmares. Interesting that they’re both Bug Pokémon, and that Game Freak really min-maxed with them. Fortunately, Blipbug evolves into Dottler and Orbeetle, who are great. Snom has a place in everyone’s heart, and Frosmoth is elegant as can be. 9.5/10.

Scarlet & Violet

I love Rellor and Rabsca! I . . . don’t really love the rest! Iron Moth and Slither Wing are great, but they’re nepo babies. Tarountula and Nymble are nice, but Spidops and Lokix leave something to be desired. Orthworm is a a big worm. At the end of the day, these games would be alright if they weren’t so wonkily coded and glitchy. Wish there was a better word for that. 7/10.

Spiders are very delicate creatures that play an important role in the myths and legends of many peoples as the teacher of balance between past and future, the physical and spiritual. To the Native Americans, Spider is Grandmother, the link to past and future.

With its gentle strength, the spider spins together the threads of life with intricate webs. The spider shows that the past affects the future and vice versa. It tells us to make use of our creativity and weave our dreams imto destiny.

For many Native Americans "Spider Woman" stories are important creation mythologies. One of the common features of those are wisdom symbolized with spiders' webs (she taught humans how to weave). Also generally accepted are the ideas that her thread connects the human world and the world of the spirits or the "above world and the below world". The Spider also weaves the relationships of the Web of Life and all beings.

Spider Symbolism

Web of life: The spider reminds us that all paths are connected. You are on the right path because all paths lead to the same place. The spider's 8 legs represent infinite possibility, the gifts of the web of life. Be patient, accept life's trials; you are on the right path.

Eight/infinity: Neverending possibilities, abundance, balance, control, creating your reality.

Keywords: Creativity, feminine power, patience, persistence, emotional awareness, strategy, wealth, attraction

Meanings: Spiritual transformation, evolution, being present, protection, alignment, manifestation, you are the creator of your own destiny

Garden Spider: Garden spiders are bold, bright, and beautiful and similarly their spiritual meaning carries a message of confidence and courage, with a dash of charisma as well. Don't be afraid to be seen in your full, authentic glory, even if it catches some by surprise.
