Day 19 Whumptober: Abandoned cabin
Prompt list belongs to @whumptober
— Techno was the only survivor of his family... his parents were tried and sentenced to death (his mother burned at the stake and his father hanged) for practicing witchcraft....
They tried to protect their son, they didn't want Techno to suffer the same fate... after all, Techno is not only a hybrid, but also a witch.
So he flees the city where he has lived all his life before someone catches him, winter hits harder than ever... and he has nothing to survive these temperatures.
Walking through the snow, he stumbles upon a huge palace that seems uninhabited, but as time passes and the storm worsens, he begins to hear the voice of a man speaking to him from inside the palace.—
“With sacrifice, intended for a kid,
He on the altar laid a calf unblessed,
The hallowed lamb, and the unblemished first
Of all the flock.” — Paradise Lost (John Milton)
I've been working on an Au inspired by @dorylinae-supremacy fic (Ask for Nothing).
I'm still working on this Au but if you want to know more about CrowNest Techno you can always send me questions!

Begging for some pirate crownest ur majesty 🙏 pleeeease it just makes so much perfect sense it'd be so gooooooood
You're calling me your majesty and now I feel bad because sadly there's no crownest in my current pirate fic, but Snape's gang is there!! I have seabunny and starrynight but no crownest😭
Buuuut....never say never, who knows what I'll get up to in the future 😉
I'd love the idea of them being stuck on a ship together, no way to escape without jumping into the ocean, Igor showing off his strength and then Sev outwits him and makes him look like an idiot. Just pure hate except not entirely, not when no-one is looking and they're tired and lonely after being at sea for so long

Sorry if youve explained b4 but why did you name your shipes those names? :0
I don't think I've covered that so far? Not all of them were made up by me tbf, most of them came from @literallysleepy but I'd be happy to explain them! I've not mentioned them all on here I think, but I'll cover what I've got. Obviously there are some we didn't come up with you I figured I'd just include them all
Cosmiccreation/Xenophilius x Pandora: A reference to their hippie-ish attitudes (a common headcanon for them in general but especially in aus) and the creation is based off of Pandora's occupation as an inventor. I have seen quillseer for this two as well, the quill from Xenophilius's occupation as an editor for The Quibbler and seer because it's a popular headcanon that Pandora is one, but since I don't follow that headcanon it doesn't make sense for me to use that shipname. If I see a shipname with seer in it, I'll likely think it's for Sybill
Crownest/Severus x Igor: It originally started as Crow's Nest but obviously it doesn't fit with the way a shipname is usually written. A crow is a dark bird (obviously) and then a crow's nest is also a structure in the upper part of the main cast of a ship, so there's the dark bird for Severus and then there's the bird in reference to Igor as well and then the ship is a reference to Igor and him being from Durmstrang and the fact that they travel by ship and all that
Flowerpot/James x Lily: Just a fun name for jily, really, I know it's not used as much but yeah,,, Lily=flower, James=Pot(ter)
Ratseer/Peter x Sybill: Peter's animagus is a rat, Sybill is a seer.
Rosekiller/Barty x Evan: Rose comes from Rosier and killer is just,, well it's Barty and he's a murderer so like,, yeah rosekiller
Seabunny/Charity x Igor: Similar like how a crow's nest is a thing on a ship, the sea comes from Igor's connection to Durmstrang and their chosen mode of transportation aka a ship sailing the sea. The bunny part comes from Igor calling Charity "Bunny" as a nickname because she's bunny-like in his head. She scrunches her nose when she smiles and laughs (like a bunny nose twitching), she's very bouncy in general, and during sex she'll thump her foot in the air like a bunny
Starchaser/Sunseeker/James x Regulus: Regulus is a star, James is the sun, chaser and seeker are common headcanons for their quidditch positions. James is chasing the star aka Regulus and Regulus is searching for the sun aka James
Starrynight/Aurora x Severus: It feels a little self-explanatory, but the starry comes from Aurora and her fascination with the stars and night comes from Severus and him generally
Whitecastle/Lucius x Narcissa: It's a reference to their light palettes and their high status
Wiseprince/Edmund Jr x Severus: The Avery family is represented by Barn Owls and owls commonly symbolize wisdom, hence the wise and Severus's mother's name is Prince and it's been used for his half of a ship name in other ships. These two were also called emofaggot for a while lmaoooo cause,,, Edmund's a faggot and have you looked at Severus?
Wolfstar/Remus x Sirius: Wolf=Remus, star=Sirius
This was super fun to go through, I'm honestly surprised no one asked before! Cause like in my head they obviously make sense but yeah they might not to everyone else vfnbjgnbjg

the night was chilly as i was cuddling on the crownest with kazuha. blanket covering out body from the cold wind. when all of the sudden he whispers something in my ear “The deep rolling waves, Are attracted by the moon, Our love never dies”. “did you just whisper a haiku to me?” i asked as my cheeks burns, showing a red-ish colour. “oh kazuha, how could i ever return the sweet talks you gave me?” i lay my head on his shoulder as we stare at the ocean, the waves we’re calm i could listen to it until i sleep… kazuha looks at me with a passionate gaze. he looks like he wanted to ask me something. “say, dear, would you like to come with me on my next adventure?” as i heard what he said i felt like i want to jump as high as i can. i’ve been wanting to hear him ask that question as day by day my life got even dull than before. “oh kazuha! i would love to!” i answer him while hugging him. kazuha chuckled and said “glad to hear, ill inform captain beidou later.” he then looked at my direction and kissed me on the cheeks, forhead and lips. we continue cuddling until a voice interupts us “i see loverboy reunited with his dearest, huh?”. oh, i could immediately recognise that voice! the brown haired captain was looking at us with a smirk on her face… what could go so wrong…?
~~~
- he will hold your hand whenever you’re walking together. and hugs are appreciated too.
- petnames: darling, sweetheart, love. if he’s feeling a bit silly: cinnamonbun, maplesyrup, cupcake, sweetie pie.
~ small drabble ~
last week, school just announced prom is about to come. i was excited but also nervous as im not sure who i would like to go with. i mean.. it’s obviously kazuha but well- he’s been receiving many people that’s asking him out! with this problem im a bit afraid he will accept one of them.. i supose if im not going with him then i won’t go to prom! at lunch, kazuha looked a bit nervous. i didn’t know what’s going on as he was more quiet than he usually is. so i decide to ask him “kazuha? is anything bothering you?”. kazuha looked at me and replied “oh no, its nothing”. i didn’t believe what he said but i decide to slide that answer. i was peacefully eating my lunch when all of the sudden he told me “hey uh- could you meet me at the school garden after school? i want to ask you something..”. i said “oh suree! ill meet you under the big tree ok?” he only nods his head as a respond.
*time skip to after school hehe*
the bell rang signaling that school is over. i quickly went under the big tee at the school garden and kazuha was already there. “hey kazzz! sooo what do you want to ask mee?” i asked in curiosity. i’ve been waiting for this momet since the time he told me to meet him after school. “oh- hey.. i didn’t see you coming.. um-“ he looked nervous and he was avoiding eye contact. i gave him some time to process what he wants to say “um.. w-ould you like to go to prom with me, y/n?”. i can see his ears going red and he pulled out a bouquet and a heart shaped container thats filled with chocolate. hearing this question made my heart go crazy! i quickly replied “OH YES! YES! uh- i-i mean mhm! i would love tooo!” i can feel my face getting a lot warmer as heat rushes through it. i accept the bouquet and chocolates from him and tackle him into a hug. we both ended up falling on the grass, laughing.
[KISS] Monday 23 March 1835
7 ¾
11 35
a goodish kiss last night all her own bringing on I never spoke but took it we did not sleep till near two tho’ lay quiet without speaking the ederdon [eiderdown] is too hot for me fine morning F48° now at 8 50 am - breakfast at 8 ¾ - before and afterwards till 10 ¾ read from p. 29 to 80 Philip on sleep and death - (had read from p. 10 to p. 29 yesterday or before) - off to Halifax at 11 35 having been a little while with my father - ½ hour at Mr Parker’s office till 12 20 - Mr James Norris had excused himself as well as he could about sending the toll to Pickells and said Mr Jeremiah Dyson will pay the toll and for 2 letters from Mr Parker, if I would be satisfied - I said yes! but that Mr Jeremiah Dyson must pay all Mr Parker’s charges - gave instructions for Aquilla Green’s lease, rent £45 - usual provisions - told Mr P- to inquire about the Reed public house lately bought of the joint proprietors Greenwoods and Hemmertons and co., adjoining the Crownest to Halifax property - Mr P- said it was not sold for so much as £700 - Messrs. Bateman and Wetherherd will probably sell the lower George and more or fewer buildings about it - price to be stated to Mr Parker in about 10 days - Ramsden is keeping (as he says) the opening from my Northgate property for me as I must have it - and he means me to pay him 40/ a yard for it - said I thought he was doing like Mr Carr outwitting himself - a little while at Whitley - brought away Murray’s physiology of plants and paid Booth his bill in full of everything - sometime at the Sexton’s looking over plan of the old church - told him to see after my 2 Staups pews and 2 sittings in a 3rd pew and told the man to let me have a copy of the plan as soon as he could - returned (as I went) by the old bank - home at 1 ½ - met Joseph Mann coming to me - had him about ½ hour in the hall - to settle tomorrow with Holt about driving the tail goit - but Holt would see me this afternoon - Thomas Greenwood came at 2 and staid till 4 ½ - had 2 glasses of wine and biscuits - had followed my father at a distance all the way from Halifax Mr Parker had told him my father was not fit to walk by himself - thanked him and Mr P- for their attention - TG- sat talking about the is-to-be Northgate hotel etc thinks Carr will wish to take it - has only 1 ¼ year [unexpired] of the lease of his present house - G- quite in good spirits about the house being licensed and letting well from the 1st - explained a little of the plan and of my idea of letting one building in offices, and making a house (an apartment) au 3me - with sink, watercloset, everything complete - he did not fancy this would answer - said I was not at all bigoted to this idea - the union cross to sell - the Inn lets for £100 a year and stabling etc let off to the amount of another £100 a year - the whole may be had for £3500 - not dear - but I need not trouble myself to buy any Inn - the Northgate hotel sure to be licenced - Mr. Sutcliffe would not give £5 a month near ½ of it for Northgate house - but shall not want more than a month beyond mayday - has taken another house - all over the town that all this was ready for signing but that I would have all off on finding that John Mallinson would not give me a conservative vote - this mentioned as intimidation - explained - said I supposed they would have me up before the house of commons - would go with pleasure - at last came out TG-‘s idea of turning the top piece of the Northgate land into a cattle fair - supposing pigs, horses, and cattle, and sheep, if any came to pay a penny a head for standing room, it would raise a large sum - sure the average n° of heads of cattle etc would = 1200 per week but 1200d.= £5x52 = £260 per annum well! said I, the idea is good - it would never have come into my head - but I see no objection - I will not make any nuisance nor the Inn, but I do not see how a cattle fair at such a distance could do any harm, and I am not such a noodle as to refuse what would pay at this rate - said he might propose the scheme at a town’s meeting if he liked - but not as if I knew anything about it - he must arrange the thing and look to it, if it was done at all - A- came at 4 ½ to had been poorly and frightened at my being so long away, she not knowing I had been so long in the house - sat talking to her - then out for ¼ hour with Holt - the Manns want 4/6 a yard for walling and arching the tail goit - I to find stones - did not fix upon anything - to see Holt tomorrow morning - no making any agreement not Walsh about his ½ share of the coal in the waste - he asks £100 for it, and says Mr. Rawson will give it - very well, said I, let him - came in at 5 ¾ - reading 1st 12 pp. of Murray’s physiology of plants -dinner at 6 ¼ - coffee - with my father and Marian from 8 to 9 - then rubbed A-‘s back of neck ½ hour with spirit of wind and camphor - then 20 minutes with my aunt (better tonight) till 10 ¼ - then till 10 3/4 wrote all but the first 3 lines of today - fine day but coldish - not fit for A- to stir out - F48° now at 10 ¾ pm.
1823 Aug., Tues. 26
6
11 40/60
3/4 hour in the stable and about the plaster (William Eaden) came to whitewash the new stable – Wrote the rough draft of this day-week and last Wednesday – It made me low and thoughtful – “Hæret lateri lethalis arundo” – “J'emportais avec moi le trait qui au ‘avoir blessé’” vide Leontine de Blondheim volume two page twenty and two – [loose translation: (Latin) the fatal arrow sticks in her side – (French) I take with me the trait that must have hurt]
Went down to breakfast at 9 – Wrote a note to Miss Pickford (for my aunt) to ask her to dine here at 4 tomorrow – At 9 50/60 drove my aunt to Northgate – Waited a few minutes and took up Marian – En passant, left my note to Miss P– [Pickford] at Savile hill, then drove Marian to call at Pyenest (the 2 Miss Walkers of Crownest calling then) at Mill-house, Kebroyde, and Haughend, and which staid respectfully 20/60, 25/60, 40/60, and 3/4 hour –
Mrs. W[illiam] H[enry] Rawson thought I was going to collect my subscriptions (vide the last time but 1 I called there) – Told her they would never be called for – I had only asked Mrs.
John P– [Priestley] after herself (not mentioning the result of the asking) had grown tired of the thing, given my uncle and aunt’s name for 1 copy each and my own for 2, and said I could not do more – I had no claim upon my neighbours in such a case –
Mrs. Waterhouse and Mrs. Empson to dine today at Mill-house, Mrs. W[illiam] Henry] R[awson] expecting them every minute that I was not sorry to be off – We should have called at Thorpe, but met Mrs. John P– [Priestley] by the way, and made our speech – Mrs. P– [Priestley], of Kebroyed, very low about her son Edward – I had forgotten whether Mrs. Henry P– [Priestley] knew of the misunderstanding between Mrs. Empson and me or not – No! – I merely said I did not think myself to blame but that Mrs. E– [Empson] had told me more of her mind than I liked – I thought it ought to be apologized for and recalled, and this latter not being done, it was about a year since we had quite cut and I knew nothing about her now –
In returning called at Savile hill for Miss P– [Pickford]’s answer to my note – She cannot dine here tomorrow but will come to breakfast – Be here at 9 and must be at home again a little after 11 – Afterwards just saw and spoke to her in the street – Set Marian down at Northgate and got home at 3 –
Came upstairs almost immediately and wrote all the above of today, which I had just done at 3 50/60 – As we went just into the post-office my letter, written last night to M– [Mariana] “Dr. Belcombe’s, Scarborough” –
From 4 to 6 wrote 3 pages and the ends (the 1st page pretty small and close) to Marienne Dalton, dated this afternoon, to go tomorrow – ……
“I shall see you at the festival, – Be glad, be more than glad – But some feelings are so subdued they scarce appear at all; and amid the louder sounds of kindness that crowded upon your ear, the “still small voice" of my gladness, may be inaudible, and lost –
I have a melancholy presentiment, that you will think me cold – You do not know me (perhaps few do); you are unaccustomed to my manner, and the contrast between those you love and me, will be so strong, I shall forgive you if you are misled – None but a chemist knows what latent heat there is in ice…..
I shall seem to you to have forgotten myself to stone – Remember what I have written; and, when those thoughts that I forebode occur to you, remember I have warned you they are untrue – Give my love to your mother – Perhaps she understands me best – She, too, has violence, if depth and large dimensions of feeling may be designated by that name – But time has softened down the surface – and she and I may shew “the torrent’s smoothness ere it dash below” ……..
Came upstairs at 8 55/60, and wrote the last 9 lines – Fine morning, a few drops of rain between one and two, but I had only just got home before there came a heavy shower, and it turned out a rainy afternoon and evening. Barometer 1 1/2 degrees above changeable Fahrenheit 55º at 8 55/60 p.m. –
Talked this evening to my uncle and aunt of going to Manchester and consult Mr. Simmons – they both of them seem to approve and wish it – My aunt proposed my going in the gig on Thursday.
She seems as if she knew more about my complaint. Asked if she had spoken to Cordingley but she would not tell me. Fancy she may know of my linen being stained but cant make out. Never spoke before in this way of my being not well to my uncle. Said it was now two years since I began. He did not seem strange to it and says he will give me five napoleons, that is sovereigns, to go with my aunt.
Thinks I must owe π [Mariana] a great deal. I fight off. How little my aunt guesses the truth and that I would not be obliged to π [Mariana] in money matters on any account if I could help it, which thank god I have done hitherto –
Writing the last 17 lines took me till 9 25/60 – Went down at 10 and came upstairs again at 10 50/60 – E [two dots, treating venereal complaint] O [one dot, signifying little discharge] Did not wash before din[n]er, writing to Marianne Dalton prevented me –
1831 Friday 14 October
7 20/.. 2
Great deal of rain in the night - Fahrenheit 66°. at 8 20/.. and damp small rainy disagreeable morning - breakfast at 8 40/.. - Off from Arundel (Norfolk arms) at 9 1/2 not near so good an hotel as at Chichester, much more Inn like - noisy last night and I had chosen a poky little bedroom au 1er. [premier] instead of a good one higher up - drove for 1/2 hour thro' the duke's (norfolk) woods chiefly beech and oak, and young plantations of beech with fir and larch to draw them up -
At the bottom of Bury hill (4 miles from Arundel) turned left along a narrow lane to Bignor - drove up a field to the Roman villa - found the gate locked - waited 5 or 6 mins. [minutes] till sent for girl who came from the village - 57 mins. [minutes] at at these singularly interesting remains - discovered in July 1811 - supposed to be of the time of Titus 4 straw thatched sheds over fine remains of tessellated pavement and an uncovered remain of a bath - worth going any distance to see -
The Medusa Mosaic at the Bignor Roman Villa [Image Source]
Changed horses at Petworth and Godalming (pronounced godle gōddlemen) and passed thro' Guildford, Changed at Ripley, and passed thro Kingston at 6 5/.. and alighted at Lady Stuart's Richmond Park at 6 1/2 - Guildford deserved a stay of an hour or 2 at least to see the fine old castle and the town - beautiful country all about it - indeed beautiful drive all today -
Found Miss H- [Hobart] alone - Lady gone to London on business and did not return till 7 1/4 - V [Vere] glad at heart to see me it seems if I had much seconded Lady S de R [Stuart de Rothesay] or even now tried for Italy it might be managed? V [Vere] thought Lady S de R [Stuart de Rothesay] had done it all for my sake I think I convinced her she was the only one considered
Lady S [Stuart] glad to see me but said she was tired and certainly vough [sic]very kind did not make so much fuss about me and on coming to bed tho I turned for a minute or two into her room we did not shake hands to be sure I made no sign of it and the thing reminded me a little of Highcliff I see it is not high bred to be too shake hands and unceremonious at eleven asked V [Vere] to play she said it was late but played above half hour and then sent Lady S [Stuart] and me off before her without a good night at all I sat by her at the instrument she said I was very funny not thinking of the music but yet seemed as if not disliking me or my attention a little word or two now and then betrays the probability of her caring for me I really begin to admire her and feel a little for her she is nice looking and very ladylike I wonder what will be the result of our winter at Hastings -
Came up to dress at 7 1/4 - dinner at 7 40/.. - afterwards read aloud the Herald - times given up - too bad, and violent against the peers for throwing out the bill - coffee - near 3/4 hour's music - all came upstairs at 12 - no stranger now only a little white wine at the bottle of the decanter and Vere asking what I would take I said oh none thank you I have not taken wine lately nothing more was said and I had none - damp small rainy morning till about 9 - afterwards very dark and rain threatening - heavy shower for a few mins. [minutes] at 1 25/.. - afterwards a few drops - cleared up a little between 2 and 3 and tolerably fine afternoon and evening - raining fast now at 1 20/.. tonight at which hour Fahrenheit 64°. -
Found here Letter of 7th. instant and 8th. ditto 3 pp. [pages] and about one end from my aunt - she has had Dr. Kenny - the damp weather disagrees with her very much - but Dr. K-'s [Kenny's] medicine has done her much good § - and kind letter 3 pp. [pages] or there abouts from Mrs. Norcliffe to ask my interest with Lady Stuart de R- [Rothesay] and Lady Hardwicke, for their votes, as subscribers to the national benevolent Institution, to get John Wilson, ætatis 75, elected to receive the benefits of the charity - singular enough Lady Stuart had this evening shewn me a card of the Institution from Lady Bute who would be glad of my vote if I had one - read my letter from Mrs. N- [Norcliffe] on coming up to my room - had read my aunt's before dinner - Mrs. N- [Norcliffe] says not a word of Scott's taking John's son - Mrs. N-'s [Norcliffe's] letter no date - but postmark, Malton, and London mark of 7 October -
[Margin] § my aunt anxious to hear I had got the ring (for Miss H- [Hobart] vide line 3 from the bottom of page 230, and 21 September) which she sent off to Hawkins's immediately on the receipt of my letter of 21 September - Mrs. Walker (the widow of Crownest) has taken my pew opposite to the pulpit of the old church -
Prompt list belongs to @comfy-vember
“And when you hold out your small hands, life spills / like a waterfall over them, waiting for you to drink.” Rainer Maria Rilke — Childhood
— The young witch is a mystery to Phil, he has lived for many centuries, but he has never seen a being who is still excited about life after it has hurt him... but this little witch is still smiling at life, even with all his scars.—
@comfy-vember Day 8: Found
“Tommy was walking along the beach near his house... his father was getting ready for work, so he decided to take a walk for a while.
But after a while he found something very strange between some rocks, it looked like a glass bottle... but inside there was something he did not expect.
There was a mer, or he thought it was a mermaid... he had never seen one that looked like an octopus before.”
(Just baby kraken bellow)
@comfy-vember Day 10: Lullaby
Song: Isabella’s Lullaby (AmaLee)
“Techno knows that when he goes to sleep, he will be in the safest place his soul can be... most would be afraid, afraid that even a dark being like the Goddess of Death would touch his soul.
But Techno has never felt safer than in the hands of Death.”
(More cn!techno because I love sim sm! He’s my little baby)
@comfy-vember Day two: Favorite Song
Song: The Ballad Of The Witches’ Road
If cn!Techno had access to the internet, this song would be one of his favorites!
I think The Ballad Of The Witches' Road and Come Little Children would be some of his favorite songs.
15, 14, 12, 6, 2 & 1 for Snape
Ooooh okay, let's explore my feelings for Severus!
15 - What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)
Errrmmm, I think I'd have to say crownest which is Severus and Igor, I think it's a fun context you can add to Goblet of Fire. Like that scene where they're crammed in the cupboard and Harry finds them, imagine that's two exes bickering. They're not good together, they're toxic and bad and messy and its never about love.
14 - Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.
Severus? Aesthetic? That's hilarious.
12 - What's a headcanon you have for this character?
I fear all of my headcanons are not actually mine and I don't want to regurgitate something I've read from someone else (we all know who at this point) so this took some thinking.
I think Sev would be one of those people who genuinely doesn't listen to music. Like even in a modern AU, I can't imagine him having Spotify or listening to the radio. He sits in silence or listens to the news. If we're pushing it, he's listening to some classic stuff but it's begrudgingly, like he's not enjoying it.
6 - What's something you have in common with this character?
I got stuck and asked the Snape's gang overlord @futurequibblerjournalist and Alex said autism.
2 - Favorite canon thing about this character?
I am honestly struggling with this one because he's not a character in canon that I have favourites for. In terms of canon, I care very little about him.
I think that he was clearly a very talented wizard. He created his own spells, which we know is notoriously difficult so clearly he had some talent in charms as well as Dark Arts and Potions.
1 - Why do you like or dislike this character?
I think trying to sum up how I feel about Sev as just like/dislike is difficult. I don't like him as a person, I would never be his friend, but he's an interesting character once you broaden your horizons past the mindset a large part of this fandom has.
Thanks for the ask!
