Me: I shouldn't disturb Neil Gaiman. I shouldn't send an ask unless I really have no way of getting the information otherwise. I'll check old interviews and all the articles that vaguely mention the subject. Of course it goes without saying that I'll read though the FAQ in its entirety. Only then, will I send an ask. However, I'd be very polite and praise his work, as anyone would. I'd also keep it short, because I don't want to waste his time. But I'd keep it very very respectful. I'd be sending a message to a very talented, amazing author that deals with god knows how many like me. Or I'd just stay in the dark and not send him an ask. Yeah, I'll do that.

Undone - Chapter 4 (continue on Ao3)

Before Aziraphale could walk away, Crowley reached out and gently caught his hand, pulling him back with a firm but subtle tug. There was an almost imperceptible pause before Crowley leaned in, his lips brushing Aziraphale’s cheek in a way that felt more like a claim than a gesture of affection. Though brief, the moment lingered, Crowley staying near just a little too long.

Aziraphale blinked, momentarily caught off guard. His heart gave a small, excited flutter that he desperately tried to ignore. The warmth of Crowley’s breath left goosebumps on his skin, and though the angel’s smile remained as cheerful as ever, there was a slight hitch in his breath as he gazed up at the demon. For a brief moment, their eyes met— Crowley's dark glasses not quite hiding the possessiveness flickering behind them. Aziraphale’s cheeks flushed a deeper shade of pink, but he was quick to mask his flustered state with a bright, innocent grin.

“Thank you, angel,” Crowley purred before finally letting Aziraphale’s hand go.
