What could possibly go wrong with an army of best friends, ex-lovers, and family? Especially when you add the strong-willed Parkinson clan to the mix. Meanwhile, troubling new leads arise, taking Our Team in a surprising direction. And Draco, still hiding his relationship with his SIO from the upper echelons of the Auror force, is definitely not falling in love with Harry Potter along the way. Not at all. Don’t be ridiculous. Seven-Four-Alpha are back in London with available resources of the Ministry tracking their every move. Draco Malfoy remains lost, last seen in Thibodaux, Louisiana, as MACUSA was closing in. Harry is raging, barely in control of his magic, and the rest of the team are battered and unsure. Their recent failure haunts them, as does the spectre of a MACUSA-Ministry alliance under the control of the Quahog administration and its shadow puppetmaster, Aldric Yaxley. The Dementor crisis with Luxembourg is brewing in the background, as is a conflict with Rodolphus Lestrange. And that’s not even mentioning the bargain Blaise struck with Death to return his cup. The team have very little energy or resources for one fight, much less several of this magnitude simultaneously. Should they fail, though, political tyranny will grip both sides of the Atlantic and evils recently banished may return. Each of them is fighting for something they hold dear, but no victory comes without a price. Still, desperate situations call for desperate measures, and desperation appears to be all they have.

Then, Lucius just had to break out of prison and turn his world upside down. Ever the consummate professional, though, Liv has been quick to pivot and shift her focus to adapting to the current environment, making sure she's still more than capable of carrying out her duties, and doing her best to ensure that friends and family -both 'believed' to be true and those recently re-discovered- are and remain safe

It's a bit harder to keep the ruse of prim and proper Marquise while not getting caught as the true face behind the masked face on a few wanted posters

Conversations about matter, which If I hadn't been as occupied as I was with the situation at hand, I may have been more sensitive too when we first spoke. There were days, some years ago, when the world was a much darker and smaller place, a shadow of corruption and chaos looming over everything we both knew and loved. During those dark times you and I formed a close friendship, one that I cherish and hold close to this very day, and one that I hope you at least still hold given what I know now. During that time we sought comfort in one another, we confided in each other about our darkest secrets, or greatest pains and desires for a world without death hovering over our heads. -Stupid, sexy ex-boyfriend Carlos shows up. Leon has a crisis because the chemistry between Carlos and Luis is immaculate, and did Luis downgrade to him? Turns out no, Carlos broke up with Luis because of the whole nemesis project thing. Like, that was a very big factor to them breaking up along with the lies and secrets. Carlos may also be dating someone of your choice to further calm Leon's worries.

-Luis brings home an injured stray cat and tries to nurse it back to health. Leon gets home, sees the cat, and immediately realizes it's a fucking wild cat. There is a wild cat in their bath tub. (The joke is Luis is as bad at identifying cats as Leon is at identifying dogs.)

-Luis claims he can manhandle Leon. Leon lets him try it. Luis proceeds to pick him up bridal style and walk two steps before his back protests. He sets Leon down like "There! See? Pretty sexy right?" It is extremely pathetic.

-Luis seeing Claire and Leon be such great friends. Like really great friends. Like really really great and close friends. "Are you cheating on me with her?" "Claire is a lesbian."

-In an au where Sherry got to be raised by Leon, it is her who gives Luis the shovel talk. Luis is like "haha kids" at first until she demonstrates bending the metal of a kitchen knife with her bare hands. Luis realizes, "Oh, right. This is Leon's child."

Survey Results Finally!!!

Ok! So before the whole breakdown I wanna address a couple biases and shit. So I posted this on tumblr and on a couple dndads discord servers I'm in, notably the patreon server, both of these almost definitely caused some bias in stats particularly in patreon subscription and most used social media to engage with. That said it could have been posted elsewhere (which I’m totally fine with and actively encourage the bigger and more diverse the sample is the better) but I only posted there because I wanted to minimize potential non-fans taking it and I don’t have a twitter. I also added the question of whether you have relistened and your race, ethnicity, and nationality later (as it was suggested and i thought it was a good addition) so the sample is not the full amount of people who took this survey and is smaller than other question therefore less conclusive of the dndads fanbase as a whole.

I got a total of 142 responses (and the survey is still open) so let break down all that

There were 65 questions in total, while I’m not going to break down every single one I will break down most of them

Majority listen on spotify with patreon coming in a close second, the small individual answers are a mix of a combination of two or more platforms or platforms i forgot to add/didn’t know existed

A little over half of the fandom is apart of the patreon but still remember that there is a bias in this question because of where i sent the survey

Majority of the patreon is subscribed to the EX-L level (like me!!) with EX in a pretty close second (other is apart of EX because i forgot what is was call when I first made it)

Ron comes in a very close 1st between him and henry for favorite season 1 dad

Grant takes 1st in another pretty close one between him and terry for season 1 son and surprisingly Nick Foster actually got votes! (/j)

The majority of the fandom have relistened to the podcast

The subject of Jodie, almost everyone liked how Jimmy played him but the views on his character are a little different. Many poll takers said he grew on them and the majority of the fandom seems to feel neutral to positive to him. A lot of people said he was a good narrative foil to Glenn (I agree!!) and that he’s “funny as fuck” (i also agree) however some people also voiced dislike him do to messing up the timeline, being a cop, messing up Nick’s character, and just the plotline he was apart of. Lots of ACAB in the responses.

The fanbase skews pretty heavily to the younger side with the majority of the fandom being 18-25 and a huge majority if you just look at it as 25 and under.

Huge majority of fans are neurodivergent with most thin results being a variation of “I don’t know, somethings probably wrong up there”

Sophrine Aulette's Skyrim Encyclopedia (Part 2)

ok i guess i'm not done with this series yet. it may take a while. i keep thinking of new jokes.

Blades

If you’ve ever met a Blade, no you haven’t (that was a joke, because they’re secretive). The Blades were originally founded as a dragon-slaying organization, but eventually expanded into other areas like bodyguarding and espionage. They got their name from using swords, which generally have blades.

Some notable Blades include:

Caius Cosades, who according to my Nana Sylvie’s memoirs never wore a shirt and drank a lot of skooma

Baurus, a fellow from the end of the 3rd Era who impressively survived the entire Oblivion Crisis

My distant great-aunt Sacha Llervu, Martin Septim’s best friend, who had a knack for closing Oblivion Gates and committing petty crimes

Delphine Fitzhubert, who is sort of my friend, except she’s still cross with me for being polite to some dragons. She’ll come around eventually.

Draugr

A draugr is a person who was alive at some point, but is now an undead sort of thing with a terrible complexion. There are a few different stories about how draugr came to be–many of them worked for dragon priests and became undead so they could keep doing their old jobs forever, and apparently some on Solstheim were cursed because they ate other people. Nasty stuff. Unless you’re Bosmer, I guess.

The good news about draugr is that they’re not terribly bright, as is proven by the fact that they can’t solve the puzzles in Nordic ruins. If you know the voice-projecting Shout like I do, you can just call “Who wants free mead?” from somewhere else in the room, and then sneak by while they’re trying to find the free mead.

Palace of Kings

I’m not allowed in here anymore (see Stormcloaks).

Stormcloaks

The Stormcloaks are a political movement based out of Windhelm, and are led by Ulfric Stormcloak (which is how they got their name). They have some pretty good ideas (make Skyrim independent, stop religious persecution, annoy the Thalmor) and some very bad ones (being horrible to Dunmer and Argonians and anyone who isn’t a Nord, really).

I once met Jarl Ulfric and pointed out some of these bad ideas to him, and he banned me from his palace. There’s gratitude for you.

Talos

You probably know about Talos from the park in Whiterun, where that fellow Heimskr is always shouting about what a good lad he was. There are two main theories about where Talos came from: either he was born in Atmora and moved to Skyrim as a young man to take Dragonborn lessons, or he was born in High Rock and did a lot of complicated political things. My grandparents favor the second explanation, since they’re very patriotic.

Wherever he came from, we know that Talos later went around conquering and uniting any piece of land he came across, and set up what we now know as the Third Empire. Somewhere along the way he changed his name to Tiber Septim, in order to match what the money was called.

Many people believe that after Talos died, he was promoted to a member of the Divines. Just in case any of the Thalmor are reading this, I’m legally required to state that this did not happen and humans can’t become gods, because we simply don’t have the intelligence for it. Unlike the average Thalmor officer.

The Throat of the World

The Throat of the World is the tallest mountain in Skyrim and by extension Tamriel. They might have higher mountains in places like Akavir or Atmora, but no one really bothers about those places. It’s unclear how the TotW got its name, since people’s throats aren’t typically very pointy or covered in snow. My guess is that someone from the Bards’ College thought it up. The only place on the Throat to get a bite to eat is High Hrothgar, the home of the Greybeards. While the monks don’t offer much in the way of conversation, they’re very kindly old men, and won’t shout at you for accidentally falling asleep in their library and drooling on their copy of Songs of the Return.

a is an adoptee/pupil to a Count who is known as a great music composer, regularly hosts parties and welcomes students in music to educate them over the summer at his home that is always full.

outside of a, also has four sons and a young daughter.

the count took A in because she is the daughter of his life long friend now dead in the war; mom was a working woman that fell ill while waiting for her secret husband.

When her mother died, A moved into the Count's residence, she was about 9.

A is a full sunshine to be around, social butterfly with a sneaky side, she has taken over the role of organizing and hosting the parties as the oldest "daughter”.

a is also a piano genius, she writes songs she sells to less talented, more man, would-be composers (did smn say overcompensing for daddy's approval? no one?)

her origins are known by all, the fact that the Count will always prioritize his own children over her in terms of dowry and inheritance, which keeps all suitors away but not boys with lesser intentions. a is the first one to redirect attentions of the men she finds suitable on her little sister.

b is a broke lord, from a family that cares for nothing but titles and got screwed over by a vengeful accountant (that honestly may have had a point). They managed to keep their financial situation a secret, putting all their hopes on their two sons to marry well before it is known.

b is the eldest, and is a moderatly renowned pianist as his parents kept sending him away to lords and masters (mostly to not have to pay for his upkeep). This is how he caught the eye of the Count and is invited to stay at his Manor to become his student.

Modern Au or Na?

I have been doing research on dance conservatory schools and ballet culture in the 80s & 90s for the Harringrove Ballet!Au. I was hoping it would help me decide between the two decades but I think I'm more torn than ever on what time period to set this fic in.

On the one hand, there's so much opportunity for modern dancers and social media has really changed the artform, making it more accessible, making space for smaller companies while centralizing the health and well being of the dancers. And I love love LOVE that (for the most part) dancers today feel free to be out and proud to their audience, even if there are still many walls to take down when it comes to queer visibility on stage. I can really see Billy (as well as Steve) flourishing in this setting. Struggling in that "don't ask don't tell" era of the closeted 90s, learning to embrace himself as a student and going on to have this dynamic and colorful career as an adult in the 2000s where he can express himself unapologeticly through his choreography, and be a part of what was pioneering a new era of queer visibility in dance.

And even if the dance world is not as elitist or as "cut throat" as it was even just a few decades ago, there are still so many pressures on young dancers, their bodies, their mental health, and the competition is still fierce. Some of these kids are joining professional companies right out of highschool, moving to big cities at 18-19 years old and feeling the pressure to prove they're "where they belong" alongside managing an apartment and independence for the first time. And if they fuck up, they may not get another chance.

On the other hand, ballet culture of the 80s is turning out to be really fascinating. Inspiring as well as tragic for all the reasons that I am sure you can imagine. Because on one side of it you had the aids crisis and all the bullshit that required male dancers to maintain and defend their public image as straight masculine males; but on the other you had this unique space, that was heavily influenced by queer culture and has always been a niche avenue for queer men and women to be celebrated and rise to success (so long as the public could politely deny their queerness).

A space where straight and queer individuals worked intamitly, and within the bonds of the company a queer person could be known and live relatively openly. The "open secret" kept politely by their friends and colleagues. They lived and worked together, and they lost together as the aids epidemic rocked through their community, taking lovers along with friends and mentors. It makes me excited to develop Mrs. Harrington and explore her relationships with her students as well as Steve. It makes me excited to explore the tensions and relationships of the teens, who would be coming of age in this strange insular bubble celebrating new thoughts and ideas about life, right in the middle of conservative Indiana.

Billy would not expect to be able to find that kind of acceptance he finds in the dance world, especially when he leaves California. And it would be really interesting to explore his transition from the street scene of San Deigo, to this new elitist space where he can achieve incredible heights, receive honors from the president and standing ovations in packed out theaters, with a partner in the wings while being left in peace - just so long as he's willing to keep his head down and play by the rules.

I think Billy would really struggle with the hypocrisy of these privileged spaces, along with classism, body dysmorphia, homophobia, the performance of masculinity etc. Not to mention having to keep duel identities between his public and private life. These are all issues that are hinted at but barely touched upon in the canon, so it would be really rewarding I think to really be able to lean into it and give them a proper exploration.

LOL so writing that all out I think I am leaning towards keeping the 80s setting. But IDK, I'd be interested in hearing any other thoughts if you have them.

Ivan has been staring at a pile of paperwork for almost three hours, the pain in his head feels like someone has driven a spike into his eye, and he really doesn't know why someone else couldn't do this. All right, they'd probably fuck it up and make him fix it anyway, they're not of sufficiently high rank to look at the Darkling's sensitive secrets and classified attack plans, and all other people are idiots etc. etc., but it still feels unfair for it to have fallen on him, particularly. They only got back from the latest Fjerdan campaign a few days ago, it went worse than expected, every strategy needs to be revisited and revised, and that has become, undoubtedly, Ivan's job, now that he's the unquestioned second-in-command of the entire Second Army, subordinate only to General Kirigan himself. He's not yet thirty.

He has just drawn a deep breath, angrily splashed the last of the kvas into his cup and taken a fortifying swig, and otherwise braced himself for another few hours of torture, when there's a knock on the antechamber door and -- barely waiting for an answer -- Fedyor Kaminsky rushes in. "Captain," he says, spotting Ivan and stopping to salute. "Good, you're here. You need to come with me at once."

"What?" Ivan jostles the desk, jumps to his feet, and looks around suspiciously, as if some malfeasant has breached the sancrosanct walls of the Little Palace and he needs to kill them immediately. "What is it?"

"You'll see." Fedyor tugs at him. "Hurry."

Ivan, swallowing his questions, abandons the paperwork without a backward glance and hurries out after Fedyor, already assessing the potential options. This seems bad, or at least urgent enough that it has to be handled with no delay. Has the tsar choked on a sweetmeat, or the tsaritsa stabbed herself with her embroidery needle, or some other pressing crisis that the fucking royal family feels the need to involve their pet Grisha in? Is it worse? Did something abruptly collapse from that underwhelming campaign? Did they decide that said underwhelming campaign was entirely Ivan's fault and throw him out of the order, thus to be packed back home to frigid Chernast in disgrace? Or maybe --

Apparently oblivious to Ivan's inner turmoil, Fedyor keeps up a brisk pace down the corridors, until they enter the library, ensure that the Apparat is not lurking moistly behind a nearby bookshelf, and hurry down the narrow rows to the end. Fedyor reaches around it, presses a hidden catch, and stands back as the shelf swings out, as smoothly as if it's on wheels. It reveals a narrow passage and set of twisting steps beyond, leading upward and out of sight, and Ivan frowns. "What's this? Is there someone up there? Is it a -- "

"Just shut up and go up there." Fedyor prods him in the back, a familiarity for which Ivan would definitely flay anyone else alive, but in the several years since he and Fedyor officially became a thing, he has grudgingly learned to accept. "Take a look."

Muttering, Ivan ducks under the low lintel and ascends the narrow, creaky steps, hands held vigilantly at the ready for anything that feels up to springing out of the darkness. There's nothing, though, and when he reaches the hidden nook at the top, lit only by a skylight somewhere high above, he turns in a circle and can't see any pressing emergency. "What's going on? Why did you -- "

He's cut off as Fedyor reaches the top, bounds into the small space after him, and seizes Ivan by the collar of his kefta, pushing him against the wall and kissing him thoroughly. Ivan splutters, makes a noise of extreme protest (okay, mild protest) and windmills his arms, but somehow manages not to break free or even push Fedyor away at all. He's still grumbling when Fedyor bites his lower lip, making him yelp, and then forced to focus on kissing him back. It's only when they've sunk to their knees on the floor, Ivan is mentally calculating how uncomfortable it really could be to lie on those floorboards, and still kissing in short, hungry bursts when he realizes the truth. "You little bastard, Fedya," he breathes. "You lied to me."

"Lied to you? About what?" Fedyor looks at him with that damn dark-eyed, dimpled smile for which Ivan is unbearably, ferociously weak. "I said you needed to come with me at once."

"For a military emergency! For -- I don't know, something! Not because you discovered an interesting door in the library and had a sudden urge to distract me!"

"Or. Counterpoint." Fedyor smirks, entirely unchastened. "I did, in fact, need to do exactly that. You're going to drive yourself crazy. Admit it, Vanya. You enjoyed this."

Ivan stares at him narrowly. Fedyor stares narrowly right back.

"Fine." Ivan wipes his mouth, bites a traitorous smile, and leans back in for another round. Whatever else it might be, life with Fedyor Kaminsky is never boring. "Maybe a very, very little."

thoughts on Free! Iwatobi Swim Club

by your one and only casual anime watcher, who is now dipping their toes in sports anime

god, free! was amazing!

it's been a while since i enjoyed an anime this much, and i think this proves that i should watch more sports anime. all of the ones i watched so far were really good (sk8 the infinity and yuri on ice), something is up with this genre

so anyway, free!. i love swimming and water so it was already an ideal premise for me. the characters are all super likeable and have different sides to them. i wouldn't say they are perfect, but what i can give them, is that they all feel like genuine friends, who enjoy spending time together.

REI WAS THE TRUE MVP. this boy saw that the other three had problems with rin and went "alright, lemme fix this" AND THEN HE DID!! nah, for real tho, i think without him, rin's reconciliation with the rest wouldn't happen. i appreciated that rei did this not only for the sake of his team, but also for himself. i also liked that he openly communicated: "i want to know what happened between you, i am a part of the team and i don't want to be left out". maybe i haven't seen a good anime in a while, but i felt like this openess was really refreshing. i love him sm <3

BUT, i was scared shitless when this mf SWAM OUT INTO THE OCEAN AT NIGHT??!?!?! LIKE BRO. at the start of their training camp i saw where this was going, but i calmed down after makoto reassured rei, i was like "phew, crisis averted" AND IT WAS NOT. they all could have died and i was not okay. and then they just forgot. about that traumatic experience. cool cool

really, every character has something that i like about them. but my favourites are definitely rei and makoto <33

rei cause he is a sweetie, who likes pretty things, is overly logical but very in tune with his emotions and cmon, how could i hate him. he is basically me (i want his glasses). and makoto, cause. ya know. have you seen him??? cutie pie lil blorbo (ᵍʳᵉᵉⁿ ᶜᵒˡᵒᵘʳ ᶜʰᵃʳᵃᶜᵗᵉʳˢ,,,)

and the ending, omg it was so cute!! i was so hyped! THEY WON, and then they got disqualified, BUT THEY WON FRIENDSHIP. seeing rin smiling again with his friends brought tears to my eyes

from supporting characters i rly like Gou and Amakata! Gou is just so determined, supportive and unwilling to give up – she wanted to see her brother happy again and she made it happen! what a good sister <33 for ms amakata i thought she was super funny and sweet. her not always accurate quoting, sunny demeanor and how dead set she was on keeping her past secret lmao

all in all, i enjoyed this series a lot! time for free! eternal summer hehe

(also, when i started watching i was like hmmmm, yeah haru and rin, then in the middle i went on ao3, saw the haru and makoto fics and was like "HE???" like i didn't think about them before but now i can't stop! but i ship both and also all three of them, that would be fun. in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter as much to me: i just enjoy the dynamics they have, regardless of if they are romantic or platonic; they all love each other is what im sayin <3)

Current AU/Crossover idea that won't leave my brain:

Daredevil (and other Marvel characters)+Star Wars (Specifically Quinlan Vos)

Disclaimer: I have never watched Daredevil. I have no intention of watching Daredevil (I've been told there's too much blood for my tastes). I have read a bunch of daredevil fanfic. All my knowledge comes from that. For that reason I will not be following the plot of Daredevil, I'll just use the characters and the setting.

Ok, so AU starts during Order 66. Quinlan is on Coruscant, investigating some case with Fox. They've been sorta dating for the last year. The order comes through, Fox tries to kill Quinlan. Quinlan knocks Fox out and kidnaps him. Eventually figures out the chips, and gets Fox's chip removed. They go on the run together.

At some point they run into teenager Boba Fett. Boba remembers Fox a little from Kamino, and also that Fox was nice to him when he was in prison. Boba joins their dysfunctional found family unit because I think it would be fun. Between Quinlan and Fox he becomes a mostly decent person, without being eaten by a sarlacc.

Quinlan tries to track down Aayla. When he confirms that she's dead, he decides to try to track down and free Bly, because he knows she would have wanted him to. Also because he's Fox's brother.

It doesn't go well, Bly dies, and they're all sort of drifting. They eventually decide to find some backwater planet to lay low for awhile and try to get back on their feet.

Fox has some health problems from Palpatine being evil, plus the chip surgery was a little rocky, since his had been activated on and off by Palpatine for as long as he'd been on Coruscant, so he wants to step back from combat a little. Quinlan needs to grieve, everyone does honestly, and Boba is having an identity crisis and needs some space.

They end up on Earth, a planet halfway to wild space with no contact with the rest of the galaxy. They're all most familiar with big cities, so they eventually end up in New York. Hells Kitchen, specifically. Quinlan whips them up some fake identities, and they settle down for a while.

Fox gets a job at a bakery, Boba decides to go to high school. There are a few incidents with Boba bringing knives to school. Parents (or in this case older brothers) get called. In front of the teachers there's the whole "oh Boba we're very disappointed in you why did you bring a giant knife to school". Boba is trying very hard not to laugh. He gets suspended for a day, which Quinlan uses to give him lessons on how to hide weapons better.

On Boba's first day he starts hanging out with Flash, who immediately reached out to the new kid for coolness points. Then Flash is a jerk to Peter. Boba asks why, Flash just says 'because'. Boba ditches Flash and starts hanging out with Peter and friends.

Meanwhile in Hell's Kitchen, Quinlan is hearing about all these vigilantes running around. He thinks 'Hey, I'd be pretty good at that! I can help people, stay in shape, and still keep a low profile.' He's a spy, so his go to is to take down big organizations from the inside out. So he finds a big organizations (maybe connected to Fisk somehow idk) and gets a job as a henchman. Starts learning all their secrets. He's very careful about keeping himself clean if the police come around. He doesn't consider Daredevil.

This is pretty early on in Matt's Daredeviling career. He's still the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, and hasn't met Claire yet. He finds some drug dealer warehouse or something and goes to beat up all the guys inside, but one guys like 'Wait! I'm not actually here to sell drugs! I've got a flashdrive full of evidence about these guys I can give you. And if you ever need help, let me know. I will not beat up people quite as much as you do, but I can knock them out and tie them up to be arrested. And I won't kill anyone. Here's my burner phone number!"

Then they give each other advice about being vigilantes, and give each other stitches as needed. Quinlan isn't as tight lipped as Matt about his secret identity, so he invites Matt over for dinner, and they eventually become pretty good friends.

At some point Quinlan meets Matt when he's not out Daredeviling, which is all he needs to figure it out via force presence. Matt knows that Quinlan is enhanced in some way, but doesn't get the full story until Obi-Wan and Cody turn up looking for Quinlan a few years down the line.

Quinlan is generally more balanced and less traumatized than Matt (having a good childhood and being trained in good coping techniques helps a lot) and that eventually rubs off on Matt. Quinlan convinces Matt to tell Foggy, rather than have Foggy figure it out when Matt turns up on his couch near death.

Matt still meets Claire, and she still becomes designated vigilante doctor, but now with additional support from Quinlan, Fox, and Boba. Fox and Boba mostly stay out of the whole vigilante thing. They offer support as needed, and every now and then will help with a particularly difficult mission, but Fox is enjoying the chance to have a life outside of fighting, and Boba is having fun with Peter and friends.

Eventually Peter starts Spidermaning. Boba, Quinlan, Matt, and friends figure it out pretty quickly, and offer quiet support and fighting lessons. They make a pretty good team handling smaller lever threats.

At some point the avengers drop by, and they come up with a system to let threats of various levels be handled by the appropriate parties that works for everyone. Between Quinlan, who was trained in negotiation even if it wasn't his preferred way to help, and Matt and Foggy's lawyer skills, the whole mess with the accords and Bucky gets worked out mostly peacefully.

Deadpool drops by at some point (another character I know only from fanfic), mostly because I think he and Quinlan would get along like a house on fire. As in they set the house on fire. Deadpool and Boba bond over bounty hunting work, and Team Red forms because I think they're neat.

Quinlan and co hadn't planned to stay long at first, but they find a sort of peace in New York none of them thought was an option. They can't sit back forever while the empire is still in control, so Quinlan starts setting up a place for force sensitive children to stay in relative safety, with minimal risk to Earth's citizens. He makes sure to leave a way for allies to contact him, and eventually Obi-wan and Cody (now married) track them down.

There's a very happy reunion, and Quinlan finally explains his past to Matt, Peter, and the rest of the superheros/vigilantes. The force sensitive kid shelter gets set up, and Quinlan starts helping with Rebellion business.

This probably exists in my somewhat vague 'still sad but not as sad as it could have been' AU where Anakin isn't evil, Padme doesn't die, and a few of my favorite Jedi survive.

I'm not quite sure how I'd end it. If I were to try to write the whole thing, I'd probably just stop after Obi-Wan and Quinlan are reunited. The fix it isn't really the point, thought it would definitely somewhere in the nebulous future. The main focus is on character interactions across fandoms.

However it happens, Palpatine gets defeated, with some help from the avengers and co. Quinlan and Fox get married, the surviving Jedi work together to rebuild the order, separate from the New Republic. Galactic laws are similar enough to American laws that Matt and Foggy can help.

Earth and the rest of the galaxy mostly stay separate, but everyone comes to visit at least once a year. There are still threats, there always will be, but a system is worked out to help everyone coexist. Everyone still alive lives mostly happily every after.
