Let’s do a little T recap for anyone who doesn’t know her awful ways:
The timeline she created was the first time anyone brought up a rumor about N and JD. Before T shoved it down everyone’s throats, it was always understood they were just friends, he was a little bro in their group, and that he may or may not even be interested in N romantically. Her “proof” was supposedly a leaked Spotify playlist labeled “JD” that came from Nic’s personal Spotify. She holds the image of that, but said she wouldn’t share it out of “respect for Nic’s privacy.” You’ll hear later on why that is bullshit.
When the pap pics from the festival came out, she jumped ship fast and began to say how cute he was, get it Nic, and now sexualize Nic with JD the way she would sexualize both Nic and Luke. I was on her live when the pap pics came out and she was already being like, “I knew it!”
When the NYC pap videos came out, she became abrasive and was calling out creators who didn’t jump ship with her. She spun this narrative that anyone who continues to ship Luke and Nic is hurting their careers and friendship. Meanwhile, she was the first one to post the video that was obtained by someone she was in a groupchat with. She even boasted about how she got “permission” from the person who took the picture. She was ecstatic that she was the one to first post the video before DM got a hold of it. Okay, so we’re going to post about Nic’s location in real time, but this supposed playlist we can’t show anyone?
She then created a giant, public discord that was supposed to be a “safe space,” yet she goes there to bash Luke, Lukola shippers, people on Twitter, call everyone in our group homophobic, and my favorite damning piece of evidence that she’s awful: shared explicit images with minors. Also, she and Karla share nasty photoshop and AI images of N and JD and it’s really freaking weird and creepy.
She has been saying since September that she knows for a fact N and JD are a couple. She will not show her “proof” which she has claimed to have for months now. Whenever something comes out that goes against what she is saying, she jumps on the defensive and starts attacking people. She goes on and on about “proof” that she has without ever giving it up. Let’s be so for real, the way she jumps on new info like a kid in a candy store, if she had ANYTHING to prove she was right then it would’ve already been sold to DM. No one in that group can keep their mouths shut (I.e. why the tifcord chat keeps getting leaked), so I don’t believe a word she says, no one else should. Literally ignore her
Oof. Thank you for laying it out like this, anon.
Proof for months and it’s still not been released? She’s the sole keeper of this “proof”?
I hope people are understanding the utter disaster of a person Tifaine is. She’s a problem in this fandom.
When I tell you she’s also incredibly manipulative and gaslighting in a one on one conversation, it’s easy to see how many people have been led to believe a total lie if they’ve never faced this type of person before.

I think I'm in a minority and lordt knows I've been very wrong about stuff like this before, but I have zero concern that Good Omens will end with Aziraphale and Crowley being human. None. Not even one iota of worry about it happening.
Why?
Because Neil Gaiman is a really good storyteller. And he, as a really good storyteller, knows that would be an unsatisfying ending.
Obviously this is pure speculation on my part, but a really good storyteller doesn't go to the effort of constructing such an intricate story, in which the challenges and desires of having eternal life but not being able to share it with the one being you want to, are so carefully laid out only to have them end up mortal. Because then what? Crowley ends up back in hell anyway and maybe Aziraphale does too? Or they end up back where they started? Nah.
My guess is that it is not going to play out as a rom-com might (I mean, it's not a rom-com), or with anything particularly overt being shown between Aziraphale and Crowley, and any "it may not be the ending you want" is, in my mind, getting way out in front to manage expectations.
By the time season 3 airs we will have been consuming years of fanfic, fanart and fanon and of all people, Neil knows the way that begins to shift the expectations and hopes of a fandom. It's really easy to drift away from canon or forget the kind of show it actually is (and that's totally fine, gimme all the fics and art that take me to where I want my faves to be), but it also means that fandoms can end up "disappointed" that some of the fan thinking and creating didn't come to pass.
So mah point is, any comments from actors or creators about a season not being what we want- that doesn't mean it's going to be rubbish storytelling. It means that some of the things people are hoping for won't happen.
And until we see what actually plays out on our screen, I, for one, am going to keep immersing myself in the brilliant creativity of this fandom and just
Tumblr media
EDIT TO ADD: also need to acknowledge that Terry Pratchett is also an incredible storyteller and these two had it all figured out nearly 20 years ago and one thing's for certain, and that is that neither author, or Neil in seeing through the vision they both had, is going to drop the ball at the last minute

MCYT Rarepair Exchange: Overview and Rules
Tumblr media
We all have our guys we like to toss into the oven and bake to a crisp. We mix them up however we want, and throw in some variables for additional flavour. Unfortunately, sometimes not everyone gets your vision. Sometimes you’re the sole warrior of a nation made up of you and your three mutuals. Worry not, this event is here to save you! With the help of MCYT Rarepair Exchange, you can beam your most exotic of pairings straight into unsuspecting people’s heads. Beware though, the same fate will likely befall you!
TIMELINE December 7th - nominations and Discord open December 12th - sign ups open December 21st - nominations close December 24th 11:59pm GMT - sign ups close January 1st - all assignments sent February 10-16th - posting period February 16th 11:59pm GMT - posting period ends February 17-23rd - treating week
LINKS Discord: [link] Tagset: [link] Tag nomination form: CLOSED Collection: [link]
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Writing - a complete, standalone work, 1k+ words;
Art - one drawing considered ‘finished’ by the artist’s standards;
TAG NOMINATION RULES
Each person can nominate up to 20 relationship tags, both platonic “&” and romantic “/“ from any MCYT fandom. Tags with more than 2 people are allowed and encouraged.
For large fandoms (5k+ works on Ao3 as of Dec. 2024) your tag must have no more than 30 works with your tag included.
For small fandoms (-5k works in Ao3 as of Dec. 2024) your tag must have no more than 50 works with your tag included.
If your fandom has 200 or fewer works, mods will hear cases pleaded for any relationship tag that isn't the most popular/often used to be taken into consideration.
If your rarepair doesn’t exactly match the criteria but you believe it fits the spirit of the event, there is space in the nomination form for you to convince us why we should allow your tag into the tagset!
Event runners/moderators reserve the right to disqualify or allow any submissions that may not fit the criteria flawlessly. We will do our best to judge fairly without letting "popular"/"big" ships take priority in this event.
Adult/minor romantic relationships are not allowed in the event. Age of the character will be decided by age of the creator portraying the character during the majority of the SMP/series’ run. Mods reserve the right to disqualify any tag that they believe to be in violation of this rule. Minor/minor romantic relationships are allowed with the exception of characters considered to be extremely underage (ex. Yoghurt (DSMP) or QSMP eggs).
Canonical sibling or parent-child relationships may not be requested as romantic, but may be requested as platonic (ex. Jimmy and Lizzie in Empires SMP season one or the QSMP eggs with their caretakers/parents).
Further instructions regarding the nomination process are included in the form.
SIGN UP RULES
As per Tumblr, Ao3 and Discord TOS, you must be 13+ to participate.
Each participant must join the Discord server for ease of communication. If we cannot find you on Discord by the time the sign up period ends, your sign up will be deleted.
An Ao3 account is required to participate. [Here] is an instruction on how to make one if you don’t have one yet.
You must request and offer at least [5] relationship tags across at least [2] fandoms. You can request/offer up to 10 fandoms with 20 relationship tags per request/offer, for up to 200 possible tags total. Plenty of room!
You must either include your DNW (Do Not Wants) or state ‘DNW: N/A’ in each request box.
You must include at least one like (setting/AU/trope) or prompt in each request box.
You must include your Tumblr url in each request so your gifter knows who to address your gift to.
Please make sure the email attached to your account is one you check regularly, and one you are comfortable to share with the mods, as due to how Ao3 exchange system works, the mods will be able to see it.
If you are 18+, you may sign up for creating and/or receiving NSFW works. If someone under age 18 is found out to have signed up requesting or offering NSFW content, they will be kicked from this event and any upcoming ones.
You cannot sign up solely for creating/receiving NSFW works. You must include at least 1 SFW offer and request in your sign up.
NSFW and SFW offers/requests must be done in separate boxes. Example:  Request 1: GeminiTay/Smallishbeans (Life Series) - SFW request Request 2: GeminiTay/Smallishbeans (Life Series) - NSFW request
CREATION RULES
Your gift must focus on at least one of the requested relationships.
Unless your giftee explicitly requests otherwise, your gift may include non-requested relationships to make smaller appearances without overriding the requested tags.
You do not have to create a work for the ship you matched on with your giftee - if one of their other requests speaks to you, go for it!
Likewise, you do not have to create an NSFW work if you matched on an NSFW request/offer.
You must abide by your giftee’s DNW no matter what.
No AI created content is allowed.
POSTING
Your gift, meeting the requirements, must be posted to both Ao3 and Tumblr.
When posting to Tumblr, you must tag both your recipient and the event blog.
Dark, violent, or generally considered triggering topics must be tagged appropriately.
FAQ
What if my rarepair doesn’t have an Ao3 tag? Well, it’s time for it to get one! Feel free to request pairings without an official tag.
Is RPF allowed? This event will not be banning RPF works or tags, and will allow it as a fandom able to be nominated from. The nominations must still abide by the rules for other fandoms in this exchange. If you are unsure if your tag qualifies, please mention as such in the "plead your case" section of the form or send us an ask for clarification.
Are crossovers allowed? Crossovers are allowed as long as all tagged characters are from MCYT related fandoms! When nominating a crossover tag please specify which fandoms they are from. Example:  Joel | Smallishbeans (RPF) & Smallishbeans (Life Series) & Smallishbeans (Hermitcraft) (Crossover Fandom)
Considering the difficulty of deciding by which criteria the different fandoms should be judged, the mods reserve the right of disqualifying crossover nominations if we decide the pair is not considered rare.
Are Major Archive Warnings allowed? When signing up you can opt in into receiving/creating works including Main Character Death and Graphic Descriptions of Violence. No other Major Warnings are allowed.
What does NSFW include? On-screen sexual content or detailed elements of gore (anything that would require a rating higher than PG-13; anything you wouldn't feel comfortable showing to a 13 year old). NSFW is not allowed regarding characters that are considered minors.
What if I can’t finish on time? If you figure out you can’t finish your assignment on time, please contact event moderators as soon as possible! Depending on whether you just need a day or two more, or are completely unable to have your gift ready by the deadline, we will either give you an extension or send your assignment to Pinch Hits.
Can I create more than one gift? Of course! You’re only required to make one, but you can create as many gifts as you like. If you really want to make more than one gift, we suggest signing up for the Pinch Hitter role in Discord, or browsing requests in preparation for the treating week!
If you have any other questions or concerns, send us an ask!

Dream's Boundaries
What Dream DOES NOT support:
Sexually explicit art of Dream and his friends
Minors interacting with any NSFW fan content (art, TikTok, comments)
Minors creating any NSFW content
Serious shipping
Obsessing over his relationship with George
Now, to clear up some misconceptions:
“No one is allowed to create explicit art of Dream Team and Co” FALSE: you can create anything; he just won’t endorse it.
“Writing explicit fanfic is bad” FALSE: he didn't even comment on it. Do whatever you want
“Shipping is bad” FALSE: he just doesn't want people prying into his life and centering their "personality" around shipping. It's okay to enjoy the writing and art. It’s fine to make jokes and do fandom research as long as you aren’t harassing him and invading his privacy in an illegal manner.
“Minors can't look at any explicit stuff” FALSE: he most likely want to protect himself and others from the legal implications of minors interacting (i.e. commenting, posting, liking) explicit stuff
What this DOES mean:
If you draw explicit art, you most likely won't receive a like from the Dream Fanart account. You can still create art and share it though! The fandom will still enjoy it; it just won't be endorsed by dream
If you are a minor, DO NOT like, comment, reblog, or do anything that leaves an internet trace for explicit content (EVEN IF YOU'RE USING A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT). If you want to respect his legal safety, (and your fellow adult creators’ safety) just view and enjoy.
Serious shipping questions won't get engagement by Dream. Most likely any conventions will cut questions about if he and George are dating (just like in the Wired Interview) for their comfort. As always, the rules of RPF shipping apply: be respectful, don’t be a creep, and have fun.
Overall, the rule of thumb is this: if what you’re doing would make a regular high school teacher uncomfortable, then expect Dream to feel the same way about your art and will actively not engage in it. If what you’re doing could get you or others in legal trouble, then stop.
Hope this helps :)

Okay, you anon on my inbox,
you said that some followers of mine have been disappointed in me for partaking in the tsams harassment document, since I am a creator a lot of people look up to. I am not answering the ask itself because it has a blog mentioned, but I will answer your worries about the situation the best I can.
I am not going to talk about the drama itself since I have retained myself from discussing and spinning things any further about the situation.
But those of you who are mad at me for being part of the document; please at least read my part of it, if you haven't already.
The document was made as an archive for the victims of that hate blog (biased-tsams-confessions). Every screenshotted post on the document is available publicly, and all I did was allow my content and posts about the situation to be used in the document.
I was an unnecessary victim of the hate blog. Had no one name-dropped me in that blog and caused me to get anons and not-anons harass me and claim that I was one of the people sending minors gore, I would not have needed to publicly talk about anything relating to the drama. I would not be in the document if I wasn't a victim of being wrongly assumed to support NSFW being sent to minors. Which is a heavy allegation.
The document is not about the gore anon victims. It's about the victims of the witch hunt that people caused by starting to blame innocent people for being or supporting the gore anons.
I am not asking myself to be removed from the document. I am there as a victim. The other people in the document, as well as their actions, have nothing to do with me, or my part in this, other than them being my friends/mutuals in the fandom, and victims of the same hate blog and witch hunt. If some of them have answered or reacted aggressively to something regarding the situation, it is on them. It is not my job to decide what my friends/mutuals are allowed to answer or do.
During this whole time, I have kept saying over and over that people should just block and move on and ignore and not vague about each other, but I cannot control other people besides myself.
I do not support harassment of any kind. But I am also not going to be silent for being a victim. Even if I was just a small misstep for the hate blog, I was still targeted because of them. I was truly ready to just forgive them and put it all behind me, if their reply to my request to apologise to me publicly hadn’t been so aggressive, and they hadn’t targeted another innocent person later (Z). The mod responding to my dm said I was manipulating them, and that they didn't believe me. So their posted apology wasn't genuine, it was just them trying to save themselves from me exposing them.
If you think I should've not allowed my posts to be part of the document then I want to ask you this:
Should a victim be quiet about being harassed just because the other harassed people have said or done something you disagree with?
Again, what I had to deal with was very small compared to some of the other people the hate blog targeted, but even a small victim is a victim if they gained harm from it.
As what comes to the document: I did not write it, nor did I read it until it was publicly shared. All I did was give my permission to use my posts in it.
I was aware that the doc included names of the people who have also participated in or supported the harassment by the hate blog or shattered.
I did not find the list of supporters necessary to include, and I told the others this. The list has recently been removed by the owner of the document after new information has come to light. I know this will not erase the fact the names were there.
I am not making statements about the harassment supporters mentioned in the doc, because I am not going to dig up if they should be there or not. I have spent too much time on this drama publicly already, when all I wanted to do was ignore it and let my friends vent their frustration to me privately if needed.
Despite the situation being what it is, I have wanted to stay neutral in it, besides the hate blog which is the sole reason I had to pipe up in the first place. I have been keeping my stance neutral between the two groups. I have not blocked anyone from either side (except the hate blog), and I have no hard feelings towards my friends, or my followers who are disagreeing with each other.
If you want me to apologise for being part of the document, I'm sorry but I can't. It's the same as saying "I'm sorry I talked about being harassed."
If you still feel like you're personally affected by my involvement in this, or you are a follower of mine getting harassed because of this document, please DM me and I'll try to help you out the best I can.
The blogs mentioned in the document have not been actively harassing me, and those who did take part in smearing my name I will not name, because I genuinely think they realised their mistake (unlike the hate blog) and understood that I have nothing to do with the gore anons nor do I believe they were a hoax.

I've been drifting away from both Tumblr and MCYT for a while now. This was the nail in the coffin.
I have another blog for art, and a third for other fandoms, but I doubt I will use either as often as I used LNLU. There's never been a community I've connected with quite so deeply as this one. Your creativity, passion, and kindness carried me through awful times far more than any individual creator could. It was not all rainbows and unicorns. It ripped open some old wounds, and left some new ones as well. But I want to carry forward the good things. I'm in touch with most of my friends on other platforms. If I've missed you, feel free to message and ask for my Discord.
A few final words, though.
We can never fully know what these creators are like when they're off-screen. What we see is a carefully curated picture of who they are, with flaws either scrubbed away or humorously exaggerated to the point of dismissal. Being aware of this does not mean assuming the worst. It means being realistic. When the people who truly know them become vulnerable by sharing the truth, believe them.
Be cautious of stereotypes. Anyone can be a victim or a perpetrator. If abusers could all be easily recognized at a cursory glance, if the signs were only a simple checklist of traits and deeds, if they were all so obviously monstrous that only a fool could have ever admired them - then far fewer of these people would get away with doing what they do.
They might be charming, attractive, thoughtful, intelligent, or funny.
They might only commit "minor" abuses, the kind that by themselves seem not to count but when taken together will wear you down.
They might blame you for what they do, claiming that you gave them no choice, or using your own symptoms and mistakes against you.
They might not realize that their behavior is abusive, or they might attribute it to other issues they may deal with.
They might apologize profusely and promise to be the sweetest person in the world for you, never to genuinely change.
They might degrade themselves, saying it's "just the type of person they are," and expect you - the one they hurt - to relieve them of their guilt.
They might be victims of something or someone else, too. They might truly be suffering.
But none of that makes your suffering acceptable.
If someone belittles, insults, pressures, screams at, willfully crosses boundaries, lies to, guilt-trips, or mentally, physically, or sexually harms you or someone you care about, there is never any obligation to accept that treatment. No matter what real or imagined position over you they might have, no matter what's going on in their life or in their brain, no one has the right to abuse their power like that. They are wrong.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong, too.
And to other survivors of abuse: it wasn't your fault, you deserve better, you are stronger than you know, your worth never depended on them, and you will heal with time.
Goodbye from LNLU. I love you all.

Announcing Kinktober and Other Events!
Thank you to everyone who took part in Wille's and Simon's months this summer, whether by creating content or reblogging or commenting. We're so happy to see the fandom engagement, and plan to do many more events to keep everyone creating and sharing! And we want to make sure we include events focused on other main or minor characters, rare pairings, or YR as a whole as well.
First, as a few people have expressed interest, we're happy to announce we're hosting a Kinktober event in October - and also a Drabble Challenge Week in September!
The provisional schedule for the next few months looks like this:
2-8 September - Drabble Challenge Week
Challenge yourself to write YR-themed drabbles! (That's a fic of exactly 100 words.) We'll give you some prompts for inspiration or you can do your own thing - separate post with full details coming soon.
1-31 October - Kinktober
Calling all creators of explicit fanworks! For those not familiar, Kinktober is a cross-fandom sex-themed fanwork event. We'll generate prompts for the month with a range of themes from mild to very spicy, so that those taking part can choose which level they're comfortable with. We'll post again with full details and the prompts nearer the time.
In the meantime, please feel free to send us suggestions for prompts! We're looking for one or two-word prompts at all levels of spice (some examples: Hands, Lingerie, Bondage).
November - December
No events - we're taking a couple of months off to let people take part in Secret Santa or other festive exchanges.
January
YR Week (dates to be decided)
February
A month for fanworks dedicated to our other main characters, with a week each for Felice, Sara and August, and an extra week for the minor characters.
March
Rare pairings week (dates to be decided)
April
30 April (Valborg) - Wilmon day
We'll then get feedback from you all nearer the time whether you want to run Wille and Simon's individual birthday events again or to mix it up next year.
Our aim is to have a mix of events that everyone can get involved with in some way, so if there's something you feel might be missing or you have other suggestions for events, please let us know!

https://www.tumblr.com/proshippers-against-censorship/764057554534989824/why-are-yall-so-mad-an-indie-creator-doesnt-want?source=share
the way more than half the people talking about this literally are not in this fandom to begin with, and that's not even taking into consideration that this person is just The Creator of the Week™ to do this; they are not the only one, they are not even the first to try to pull this shit.
The reality of the situation is that if these ocs were really that important and personal to this creator, then they never should have shared them with the public; your creations are no longer 100% your own once you do that, and it is literally impossible to control how complete strangers are going to engage with your art.
It's also not just porn this person is hunting down; they're DMCAing anything that just doesn't align with canon (what they call misinformation). So basically all fanworks for this fandom are potentially under fire, because the entire point of fan works is that they're not canon. If canon was all everyone ever needed, fandom wouldn't exist.
By all means, hate porn with all your heart, but if just the idea of someone making porn of your oc is enough to give you a full-on legal meltdown, then keep your ocs to yourself and your close friends. You don't have to share them with the public. Your ocs don't need to become famous, but if you really want them to; Rule 34, buddy. Porn comes with the gig, get used to it.
"I don't want to see X type of content, so please don't send it to me." Is a boundary, and a perfectly reasonable one at that.
"I don't want to see X type of content, so I'm having my majority-minor fanbase hunt down anything I don't agree with so I can sue about it." Is an insane attempt at infringing on total strangers' Fair Use Rights after not thinking how said strangers would interact with your art all the way through, and is exactly what's happening here.
Yep!
It was never JUST about the porn, but the porn is what communities tend to latch onto (hence it being such a big focus everywhere that is talking against - and honestly, even for - their actions. That then makes it a good focal point on what's happening.)
I am glad you brought that part up, because I'd love to take this moment to urge you all to remember the fanon financial situation that Keath also pissed themself over.

Honestly, watching how this fandom (and just fandoms in general) treats creators, both dev and fan artists/creators, is really demotivating when it comes to creating much less creating something original. I'm just going to be musing below the cut so feel free to ignore this.
While there is always a place for criticism, critique, and discussion. The fact that harassment is expected with the territory of creativity, that death threats can be triggered over something as minor as a poorly worded interview, which is my understanding as prior to this morning where I returned to finding devs having closed their accounts.
The main conflict being over the interview contents about Davrin, which there was elaboration that they thought of other companions for the act 3 choice but ruled that the emotional stake for their audience (us. the players) was that Lucanis was too dependent on an act 1 choice that it was better to have Davrin. That yes, the audience would find it harder to choose between Harding and Assan. I have my own critiques and opinions on this. I also agree that it shouldn't have been presented that way in the interview. Couple the fact that they reworked the entirety of act 3 in March, and thus were refitting things based on choices they could not expand, build on, ect. The writing room has problem, yes. The interview could have had better wording, yes. But to harass and send death threats is just unfathomable.
I've never been so involved in a fandom before, much less one this size, so I'm not used to seeing the inherent negativity that comes with everything. Even in spaces like the wiki. There is this immediate response of bad faith accusations of the devs, that they're lazy and/or uncaring.
I went to school for games and animation. I've done work in the game industry and dabbled in other aspects of the industry. I have always wanted to create a world and share stories. It is largely a part of what drew me to Dragon Age and the community. It is why I love breaking down the world building, exploring and critiquing what I feel is and isn't strong aspects of its story telling.
But this community has also killed a lot of motivation for me to share any story. It has hampered a lot of desire to share my long fic or even my ocs. Especially as I've gotten harassment and have received threats in my ask box over just sharing the model heights of da characters because I ruined their headcanons and such.
It is honestly a weird place to be at this moment. It is little over a month after launch, devs are already being fired again. The community seems to be more hostile and negative than I was prepared for (and people tried to prepare me, and I've seen the stuff from soon after dai's release).
On a personal level I'm finding it increasingly hard to want to engage here or anywhere for that matter much less create. And it sucks because I want to create, I want to share stories with other fans, and I want to interact with the devs to ask questions and hear what they have to say about their work. To get inspired. But, yeah. Long-winded way of just saying I'm tired and at a loss.

LMK OC COMPETITION - SIGN UPS
The time has come once again to sign up for the LMK OC Competition!! We're here to celebrate the creativity within the fandom and share our OCs in a friendly poll based tournament.
Last year, we had a total of 32 competitors but we're changing things up a bit this year by allowing 64 people in all to compete. Additionally, as you may have noticed, our blog has gone through a bit of redecorating as we now have a theme this comp: Halloween/Autumn.
Please read the rules before signing up. There were minor revisions made from last time's rules.
RULES:
Only 1 submission per person.
If you competed in our last competition, you are still allowed to join this one. However, you cannot submit the same OC as last time, I will not include them. You must enter a different OC!
The OC must be derived from Lego Monkie Kid in some way.
The OC must belong to you. Do not submit an OC that belongs to someone else.
You must provide an image of your OC. It is required to participate. It can be either traditional or digital, skill level does not matter.
This is an event for all ages. Gore, references to sexual content, etc. will not be permitted
Bigotry of any form will not be tolerated
Propaganda is allowed and encouraged. Be sure to @ this blog so I can reblog it. However if there is bullying found between creators, you will be disqualified.
Do not hate on or bash anyone's OC. If you are one of the competitors, again, you will get disqualified for doing this.
HAVE FUN!!! :D
Due to scheduling conflicts irl as well as the increase of competitors, I will not be able to change OC images/descriptions during the competition. With that being said, the absolute last day to edit your submission will be September 3rd. This can be done through DMs.
If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and send an Ask!
More information about this event can be found here

Want to be in the Bad Omens fandom but don't want to deal with the drama? I have some tips for you as a newcomer:
Number 1: the first thing you'll find out about is what what people like to call the "lore". Stay away from gossip blogs, they can drag you to the deep end and you'll find out about things you don't and shouldn't know about. Also try to keep away from Twitter, most of the drama here makes its way there.
Remember that most things shared about Noah were done against his will, and a lot of it is not supposed to be on the internet for everyone to see. That includes pictures of him as a minor and other stuff I won't get into, so report anyone who is sharing those, please. Don't try to find out whatever was happening in his life when he was a teenager/young adult, he's made it very clear he is a completely different person now.
Number 2: Block!!!! I have blocked every gossip blog I've come across ever since joining the fandom. There is new drama everyday and there is no use in trying to look it up. A lot of those people are toxic and have no boundaries whatsoever.
Number 3: don't try to find out who the people mentioned in those blogs are. You'll get into a rabbit whole and some things can be pretty upsetting as a new fan. Just keep in mind that private things were shared when they shouldn't have been, by some people who wanted nothing but cause harm and spread hate.
Number 4: don't interact with those blogs. I have done it before and you'll just be feeding into the problem.
Number 5: filter whatever you see on here. You don't have to answer to anon hate, they send it to get a reaction out of people and it works most the the time, unfortunately. Ignore them, delete it and try to move on. They don't deserve your time of day.
Number 6: support fic creators and the people who keep this a safe space, even with all the toxicity involved. We're here to have a good time and support the people and band we love so much.
I hope this helps. Despite everything, this community can be very welcoming and there are a lot of great people here. You just have to get past some barriers to get to the good stuff.

The following post contains people hating on a character on a skirt and a brief mention of sa and unaliving, please if any of those is something that triggers you skip the post and take care of yourself.
lets begin with the boundaries that i have
I do not feel comfortable with minors going to this or my nsfw acc simply because, is not a safe place for you to go (not even social media too but that's a different talk)
I do not like people going into any of my acc's to send my draws or content to minors bc... bitch do i even have to explain how fucked up that part is?
And last but not least; if you're going to talk shit about me at least talk shit with bases and evidence, how do you not have the first and most important rule about gossip? like??????
booooo tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes
I will not name anyone that was involved because first of all, they are minors and even tho they are old enough to know that what they're doing is wrong, naming them could do more harm than good and I think they are able to change if they just accept that their actions have consequences.... I'll be also using neutral pronouns for the ppl involved.
if you know the ppl that are in the screenshots please don't share their social media or acc's to avoid them getting harassed, also please don't harass the people mentioned here.
with that being said!
this situation has been happening for i think the last month when someone informed me about someone talking shit about my art on a private discord server.
I think that the concept of blocking blogs that have stuff that you're triggered or you don't vibe with is very simple to understand.
the persons that have been talking about how i don't draw normal stuff and how dare i to draw varian in a dress and being cute ohh no god forbid....
I don't know if you can't realize maybe I'm drawing Varian (A CHARACTER THAT DOESNT EVEN EXISTS) as trans masc and trans fem, and that anyone can have their hc and any hc are valid!
IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT I DO OR DRAW JUST DON'T FOLLOW ME ¡is that simple!
the situation with the person who is the owner of the server where they talk shit about me has not moderate well the place and allowed ppl to hate talk about a creator who they don't even know, neither talk to, nor they should interact with.
I tried to confront the person by sending them a text message on tumblr, said text message has been ignored and the person simply uploaded a new post back then, so....
also im going to tag this with vat7k bc the problem happened inside the fandom.

"A certain kind of guided, detailed writing can not only help us process what we’ve been through and assist us as we envision a path forward; it can lower our blood pressure, strengthen our immune systems, and increase our general well-being. Expressive writing can result in a reduction in stress, anxiety, and depression; improve our sleep and performance; and bring us greater focus and clarity."
this is from an article of harvard that explains how writting helps to heal trauma.

what is destructive criticism
I can accept criticism when it comes from a place of pointing out a part of my artwork that can be upgraded or a different technique i could use, or even the pose or the technical aspect of a painting/drawing, what is literally just insulting an artwork because you don't like it and have no grounds for it and is just hate... that's what i don't accept.
criticism and arguments come from a ground of respect from the both sides, not from only straight up hate and disrespect.

that's all i have to say abt it all...
please remember to be safe online and even more if youre a minor

Remember when people were calling you the "long lost McElroy sister"? Do you see the similarity at all, or do you think it's just because you share a similar creative niche (gaming/streaming/comedy) with the McElroy brothers?
Lol, "when" people were doing it.
I still get it to this day, friend, despite my constant protests.
I used to understand, and it was even expected initially if not personally encouraged! There was definitely a period of time where they were my biggest comedic/creative inspirations, and the truth of the matter is that I am a mannerisms sponge. I mimic people around me, and people that inspire me, and whether or not it's more than the average person I have no clue, but I will go through seasons of daily watching a particular personality or creator I'm fond of and/or inspired by and usually come out the other end having picked up certain tendencies VERY quickly, a large portion of those being speech patterns.
There's definitely a segment of my content around 2017/2018 or so where, yeah, you can very much tell I adopted a McElroy-esque speaking pattern directly (like what felt like 70% of other Tumblr users also did lol) and it was both because of how much of their content I was into at the time AND also because at the time I found their output inspiring as someone who was used to more... Loud Gamer forms of comedy, to put it bluntly. So at first I took the comparisons in stride and saw it as a signal of my own growth as an entertainer, and my ability to be funny in a way that wasn't just Loud = Funny.
But the thing you have to know about me, and my time as even a minor public figure, is that this comparison was not the first of its that was constantly levied at me, and it unfortunately was not the last one in the slightest. Some will remember the days in which I was a reasonably renowned "Bill Cipher" impersonator in the Gravity Falls fandom, and the pattern was very similar at the time. I dealt with people CONSTANTLY telling me that, despite all of my attempts to separate myself from the voice work I did as the character, I always sounded Just Like Bill even when I was just using my casual speaking voice. If this sounds familiar to those of you who have only been around since the dubs popped off, it's likely because I also go through the same thing ever since I became known for Sonic impressions.
And then outside of voice work I've had my style of content continue to be compared to the McElroy's body of work and even beyond to the likes of Jerma and other big-name-of-the-era content creators. And I have to once again stress: I am completely self-aware that it is not entirely unfounded. I mean, the most recent one I got was just the other day when on stream someone told me I had a speech pattern similar to Northernlion. And like, I even admitted right then and there.... yeah! That makes sense! I've had NL compilations going into my ears and brain for hours upon hours on end lately. So I don't mean to only complain and say "this makes no sense" with delusions that it's completely baseless. BUT, I guess if I do have to circle around to a point, it would be that, though I can occasionally understand comparisons, I would hope y'all in turn can understand why it might not be an easy thing for someone like me to hear, especially in the way it never really seems to go away? Even if one like Bill Cipher fades out, the whole "SnapCube is just a female version of [insert larger male peer in the content space]" thing is something that cycles along regardless. And I get it, it's human nature to compare and contrast. I do it too! But as someone who is always trying to stand out in what I do and make my own value as an individual known above the cacophony of content saturation, I do implore people to think twice about the language they use when making otherwise favorable comparisons. Recommending my content by saying something like "if you like Jerma/McElroys/NL/etc., then SnapCube gives off similar vibes" makes of a WORLD of a difference compared to "This stream is just something Jerma would do" or "Penny is just a female Griffin McElroy" (both things I have heard almost verbatim, constantly). They approach the same ideas, but one gives me so much more of a chance to like... start off a first impression as My Own Person and not just a derivative Girl Alternative, if that makes sense.
Whoops I talked about this way too much :) Can you tell I think about this a lot LMAO
Anyway here's the obligatory joke response that's been spread before

What in the world is going on? It’s like I just walked in on the battle of gallipoli here! What’s gotten everyone’s panties in a knot? Or do I not want to know?
Gosh, where do I even begin... This 42 year old woman has come out of the woodwork in the fandom to harass anyone that disagrees with her after she was initially called out for Zionist behavior. She's been making anonymous alts to sling slurs around without being caught, and doxxed the usernames of anyone who tries to hold her accountable for her actions so she can incite harassment from others.
But after some information brought to my attention today, it's come to light that she has a very checkered past involving allegations of sharing unsolicited s*xual material to people (may or may not involve minors), sharing s*xual experiences in children's entertainment spaces putting minors at risk, and a steady record of harassment from different discord servers and subreddits.
All in all, it seems that this woman may be more of a danger than we realize. With allegations from multiple sources that I can disclose privately to those who ask - I don't feel safe allowing her presence in fandom spaces that involve minors in any way from now on.
As someone who creates both adult content along with content that is minor-safe in appropriate spaces, it is extremely vital that we as content creators take extreme caution in separating these parts of fandom audiences through tags, filters, and heavy diligence with blocking and checking follower profiles so there's no risk of accidental exposure.
I am open to a civil discussion, but until then I do not feel comfortable risking the safety of not just minors, but other adults with her presence and previously displayed actions.
Thank you for your time, y'all. Stay safe out there and be well 🫂

Note
I’m not here as often as I used to be, and it actually came as a surprise to see the jilyawards are coming around again after the tumultuous times in the past.
I get that as a fan creator part of it is praise for a job well done, (kudos, likes, reblogs etc etc) but aren’t the awards just creating a competition out of that hard effort?
I love rec lists, rebogs and shares, bookmarks, favorites and finding new fic as much as the next person, why does it have to be one person versus another, one fic versus another, why not share all?
Maybe it’s the minority opinion, or maybe you could do a poll or something, ask the audience their thoughts?
How does not ‘winning’ affect a creator's ability to create?
Are the awards a popularity contest or is there something more to them?
When you look at a list and see yourself absent do you feel bad?
I hope all participants gain something from the experience, but to anyone who doesn't get what they're hoping for, know your work was appreciated and you have value regardless of the results.
Hi Anon!
You admit you haven’t been around as much as you used to be so maybe you missed it but we’ve actually been sharing and accepting fic recs and putting out lists ALL YEAR! So this message is a bit disheartening after all the volunteer hours we’ve put in this year. Something we’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback on and planned to continue.
At the end of last year Ava stated she’d be stepping down from running awards and the new team volunteered to take her place so it could still exist and made some changes - like the fandom generated rec list every month- and added more categories because we’ve just always found the awards a bit of fun at the end of the year and wanted it to serve a greater purpose than just a “contest”. We have nothing to do with whatever the tumultuous times of the past were, and have no interest in knowing what they were either.
People are always welcome to nominate themselves or a fic/art and we’ve tried to be very encouraging of that. The awards can be a great way for newer authors or works that are under rated to get noticed! And people aren’t forced to participate if they don’t want to (thus the opt out list). So we get the awards aren’t for everyone and that’s okay!
In our view the awards are just another platform for works and folks who were enjoyed this year to be celebrated, shared and highlighted. It’s fun to see what’s out there and who’s done what during the year. There’s always going to be the fic that gets 8k kudos and the one that gets 8. Kudos and popularity aren’t the be all end of fic writing/fan art creating. And these awards are just supposed to be a bit of fun to round out the year. We as the hosts just run the admin behind it and we don’t make any decisions about who “wins”.
If you’re basing your ability to create on how popular your work is and aiming to win a silly little internet award at the end of the year… we suggest maybe this isn’t the hobby for you, because that’s not what it should be about and it’s certainly not what we aim to be about.
We’ve already gone through the effort of organising the awards for this year, but people are welcome to let us know if they don’t want it for next year and just want the rec lists because we can start a whole new blog for that and leave this account behind (or to someone else) if it’s not fun anymore and not appreciated.
