Hello everyone!

Welcome to my new little corner of tumblr where I will be sharing this new journey that I have started. 🥺🤩

As I begin expanding on some beginners practices, I hope to share what I'm learning, how I practice my spirituality and also creative media in the realm of witchcraft and manifestation ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

It is important that I share that my pronouns are He/They. I also do drag and when dolled up, I go by She/Her. For now I will refer to myself as Spiritual Spark and maybe in the future a reveal can be planned but for now we stick with Spiritual Spark.

As a perfectionist in everything I do I will keep an updated dashboard on Notion in which I'll basically track my progress, journal and draft the content that I'll post. This might end up with a period in the beginning dedicaated to the progress of putting my personal tools together. Of course there will be updates on this procress too as I am a HUGE nerd when it comes to tracking and journaling. ✏️

I hope to meet as many amazing people as possible in this community and am so excited to join and interact with this community. Until then i'll be hitting the books and getting closer with my "new" tarot deck. SO excited to show you the cards that were given to me that immediately felt perfectly connected to me!

Since i started reflecting, deducting my work procress here, Iam getting everyday better bringing light to my blind spots with in my perception. Iam recognizing how, color, form, positioning, conotation, color nouances, structure, words, sounds, smells, are all interconnected, steering my emotions. The thought fragments, triggered by part of word, believe sentence, which are connected with a this association chain, or that association chain. What am I eating, what/ how am I painting, what am I having fapping, what am I wearing while Iam feeling this, what are the colors/ the position from the color Iam wearing. The dead angle/ blindspot with in my view at the own body, my body. How does my blurry nose with in my eye view influcences my creative process? What are my motivations? Why am I painting? ( the different levels of why), how can I raise the productivity? In the 80’s/ 90’s/ 00’s my creative work process was driven/ underlayed by creating/ styling/ painting/ drawing everything based at/ on letters. The sound of the letters/ word, with its personal, cultural, narrative connotations. Around the 10’s years I was working although with different painting strategies/ thoughts. Rachel Rainey is an American artist who uses mainly gouache and watercolours.

Rainey is one of my favourite artists of all time. I love her creative mindset and how she is open to exploring more than one subject of focus. I believe that artists should not limit themselves to one subject or art medium or art style as I think thay putting limits on what you can do hinders the creative procress and sometimes the joy of art.

This video is a tutorial of Rainey's trading cards that she creates each month. I decided to share this one as I love her colour palette! The purple and apricot colours added to the clouds brings a beautiful atmosphere to the peace and reminds me of a summers evening.

I love art that is just simple sometimes. Not too focused on trying to get a point across, not too surrealistic. A lot of the time I like to view art that isn't complicated. The person made it simply because of the joy that comes from creating.

The Main Lead - Week 3 Progress (2/10/19)

Greetings once again everyone,

For this week, I began the main lead of my song and the nutshell that is going to allow me to build up the song from a synth lead. After looking at all my inspiration songs, I realized one thing, and that is a songs main lead does not have to be complicated to be catchy. 

It took me one whole day of trying over and over again to come up with the perfect main lead that I was happy with. This just shows the creative process of having to fail numerous times to succeed. After completing the main melody lead, I began to add in some claps and hi-hats to give the melody a more creative and interesting tune. I also looked at creative African drum rhythms to give my song a more “African” vibe to it. 

I’m very excited for the next creative step which will be beginning the drop of my song!

Not The Monster

I was born without a skull, and the doctor told her I wasn’t going to make it. What a Liar; they watched me, too close, they touched me,too long, and it was months, if you believe it, until I was home.

The drives from the hospital all started to feel the same, Im sure

I lost all of my senses at birth but no matter here I am, almost three decades older than the doctor’s orders. And for a while, I was a miracle and grateful;

but I am older and I am no longer alone

Time has lost and put on a uniform;

now we wear the same colors

But I swear I tried;

Listen: once I jumped backwards from the roof of a car, just to see if I could turn It around; I read yearbooks back to front; took showers ‘stead of baths so I wouldnt think about whether water Comes or Goes; I thought too much about weather and ghosts; It was always out of control; I drank alcohol, lost feelings then words; I started to read and do everything out of order. It didn’t matter if my skull it was gone; they said I would be

Mush, Mush, what I named the feeling when they talked, most people they turned my brain to mush, old peaches or blue cheese between your braces at dinner.

Once I asked the doctor for a copy of that old black and white picture, but it looked no different from the others limp in the room it wasn’t much proof. I forgot where I was going, So I drove back home. The drives from the hospital All started to feel the same, Im sure, Im sure.

My Daily Struggle:

My cat, Stu, is determined to sit on my Mac Mini while I work. I've tried everything to keep him off of it for fear of what cat hair is doing to my computer. The pictures above show how I'm currently protecting it. How's it working?

I don't have the heart to lock him out of my office so I've resolved to make this daily "build a fortress/flatten the fortress" routine part of my creative process. 

If anyone has other suggestion on how to keep both Stu and my Mac Mini happy, please let me know!
