species dysphoria actually is so fucked up cause. a lot of the time when people have dysphoria there's at least the comfort of the fact you can change things so you look like a different person. my problem is that i look like a person at all. im not saying it's worse just that its really messed up bro...

i hate having a human body i actually hate it and i don't want to be told "oh but think of the good things", the "good things" are the exact same things i absolutely hate and you cannot change my mind about it. i hate looking like this. i could have looked like anything yet i look like a fucking human and i hate it so so so much.

does anyone else have fictional crushes that just really appeal to their nonhumanity? Like yeah Wolverine is really hot but also my wolf brain is always like “he would be such a good protector and provider, look he’s feral like me, he wouldn’t think it was weird if I growled and bit him, look!”

Like I always feel like I’m more attracted to characters/people that are more in touch with that place and instincts that border on therianthropy.

Just me? Is this a unique experience??

earlier the dog was losing her MIND at something outside (as in this girl who is a HUSKY refused to go outside and play in the snow) like standing in the doorway growling and not letting my mom or the other dog outside but my mom didn't see anything so now when the backyard lights turn on i get a bit nervous

it's interesting to me when therians speak of having an "awakening" when it comes to their theriotypes. I don't mean this in a invalidating kind of way, just in a "we have very different experiences and I want to discuss that" kind of way. i never had an "awakening", because i felt like an animal from as early on as i could remember. all my life i knew that i wasn't human. that if given the choice, i would swap my body for an animal one in a single heartbeat. if i had never heard of the word therian, it really wouldn't have mattered, because I WOULD STILL BE AN ANIMAL. when i found the term therian, my hesitance was not at all from "am i an animal or not" because i knew that i was. it was more... me doubting my understanding of the specific term. "is this a spiritual term only? would i be using it incorrectly?"- i was afraid to upset anyone. to step on toes. "am i an animal" was never even a question for me because it was always a YES.

I got so stressed out at a theater rehearsal today that I had to take a couple minutes in the hallway so I didn’t growl at my fellow techies. I stress-chewed a hole in my sleeve.
