Would you write for other fandoms than she ra like dunmeshi

Oh I absolutely write for other fandoms, but Glimmer is just such a blorbish blorbo so she keeps drawing me back.

Honestly, I haven't tried writing Dungeon Meshi for the best of reasons - I think it's such a good story and so well crafted characters that I have a hard time finding those little cracks where I normally would pour in my fanfic ideas (I have the same 'problem' with DIsworld). All those little quirks of Marcille I'm so fond of, they are so well connected to her upbringing, which in turn is so well connected to the world building (specifically, how the different peoples relate to each other). And since I still haven't finished the story... I kinda want to see where it goes before I attempt to move around the pieces too much.

That said, My Girl Marcille is such a wonderful character that I probably will write her sooner or later. Probably as an AU - see what elements stick. Let's make it a western. Naive, sheltered university student decides on a lark to join her 'room mate' and her Cowboy brother on an expedition, buys a shotgun and a manual on the way to the west and than happily blasts through every challenge to her co-adventurer's horror (and yes, it would be called 'Spaghetti Western').
