It's official. I have finished The Sunshine Court. I have so many things to say and yet have no idea what to possibly say. It was perfect. not to be delusional on main but i truly believe that tomgreg has the potential to go canon. greg’s dad is gay and if there’s one thing this show loves it’s generational similarities (and why bother having that be a plot point if not for later use). tom’s open marriage and hesitancy to cheat but easy intimacy with greg. the eventual crumbling of said marriage and tom’s subsequent closeness with greg as a blatant replacement for shiv. the ‘would you kiss me’ line, the ‘you’re mine’ water bottle pelting scene, the forehead kiss. not to fucking mention nero and sporus. tom has killed his wife, pushed her down the metaphorical stairs, and all that’s left now is for him to dress greg in her clothes and kiss him on the lips. all i’m saying is that i think the writers of succession are too smart to lay all this foundation and not follow through. it’s too good a show for that.

Well I think the most famous case is Ares killing Halirrhothius, Poseidon's son, for the assault on his daughter Alcippe. There's also Apollo and/or Artemis killing the giant Tityos for their mother Leto, Heracles with the aid of Zeus killing Porphyrion when he tried to violate Hera on the battlefield, and in one version Zeus killing Eurymedon for Hera who assaulted her when she was young and before they were married. (Zeus also kills Iasion in a version where Iasion and Demeter's relationship was not consensual and in one version kills Tityos for his former lover Leto)

Athena and Artemis also have cases of protecting their favorite maidens from rape by metamorphosis: Athena transformed Nyctimene into her owl familiar, the daughter of Coroneus into a crow after being pursued by Poseidon, and by Artemis Arethusa was turned into a holy spring after being chased by the river god Alpheios. There's also Britomartis who straight up was immortalized by Artemis after being pursued by King Minos and the fisherman Andromedes.

Let's do Jazzprowl, love those two. Usually the go-to is Jazz accidentally courting Prowl because he doesn't understand the intricacies of high Praxian society, but instead! I think it'd be much more fun if Prowl was accidentally courting Jazz XD

He has absolutely no idea, he did smthn that in Polyhexian culture is a grand romantic gesture. Jazz is so flattered and so flustered: he had no idea Prowl felt that way about him! The first incident was thousands of years ago, back when the war was still young, and Jazz still has butterflies over it. He thinks that he and Prowl are just taking it nice and slow because of the ongoing conflict, meanwhile Prowl thinks that Jazz is just an overly-extroverted mech that feels the need to be friends with everybody, that's surely why he hangs around so much. He has no idea they're courting until Jazz finally works up the nerve to say a fleeting, "Love ya!" or kiss him 🤭
