Can we talk about for however much Neil loves exy and wants to push his limits (which is a lot), he never once says that he wants to be the best.

He only ever wants that for Kevin. There is never any doubt in his mind, Kevin is and always will be the best.

He is angry when he sees Riko stopping Kevin’s potential. He can’t help his manic grin from slipping over his face when he sees Kevin has finally covered his tattoo. One of them had to make it and he needed it to be Kevin.
