The Global Active Cosmetics Market is Driven by Growing Skin Care Products Demand
The global active cosmetics market has witnessed significant growth over the past few years owing to the growing demand for skincare products that treat premature aging, wrinkles, dark spots, acne, and other skin-related concerns. Active ingredients used in these cosmetic formulations help reduce visible signs of aging, nourish and hydrate skin, treat common skin conditions, and protect skin from environmental damage. Cosmetic products containing ingredients such as retinol, alpha-hydroxy acids, hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants, and sunscreens are gaining popularity among consumers. The increased focus on personal care and rising disposable income levels have further propelled the sales of premium anti-aging creams, serums, and facial masks. The Global active cosmetics Market is estimated to be valued at US$ 11.62 Bn in 2024 and is expected to exhibit a CAGR of 9.9% over the forecast period 2024 to 2031. Key Takeaways Key players operating in the Active Cosmetics Market Growth are Medtronic, Dexcom, Inc., Abbott, Novo Nordisk A/S, Ypsomed, GlySens Incorporated, and F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., among others. Key players are focusing on new product launches, partnerships, and expansion strategies to strengthen their market position and expand their geographic reach. For instance, in 2021, Medtronic launched its Guardian Connect continuous glucose monitoring system with smart phone connectivity features. The growing demand for anti-aging skin care products owing to increasing geriatric population and rising consumer disposable incomes is expected to drive the market growth over the forecast period. Increasing urbanization and growing awareness about personal care are also contributing to the rising sales of active cosmetic formulations. Geographic expansion into emerging markets of Asia Pacific and Latin America through online retail and company-owned stores will provide significant growth opportunities to key players. Growing middle class population and improving spending on premium beauty products in countries like China, India, Brazil, and Mexico will support the global expansion of active cosmetics market.

CPL's daily case study on tumblr.... CPL Business Consultants assessed the value of potential opportunities in the cyclodextrins market and recommended a go-to-market strategy.
Cyclodextrins are macrocyclic, non-reducing maltooligosaccharides composed of glucose units linked by α-1,4-glycosidic bonds. Cyclodextrins are commonly found to contain six (α), seven (β), and eight (γ) glucose molecules in the ring. Each cyclodextrin is a torus (doughnut-shaped) molecule.
The internal cavity of the doughnut is hydrophobic, whereas the external surface is hydrophilic. These act as a host for entrapping either wholly or partially other chemicals without the formation of covalent bonds. Therefore, cyclodextrins can encapsulate diverse hydrophobic guest molecules or functional groups, thereby changing their physical and chemical properties.
Cyclodextins have a wide range of uses. For example, in cosmetic products, they are used to solubilize and stabilize the sensitive components; stabilize emulsions; improve the absorption of active components onto the skin; reduce or eliminate the bad smells of certain components; and reduce the loss of the active components through volatilization, rapid oxidation, destruction by light, etc.

15 Day Bl Challenge - Part 4
Day 60 - Favorite lesser known BL
Hmm, I'm not sure if I am fully tapped into what counts as "lesser known", since this is pretty much the only fandom space I hang out in, and I know certain series get more chatter on Twitter/TikTok/etc than they might here, but here are a few series l loved that I feel get less talk around here than they deserve.
Ghost Host Ghost House
Tumblr media
This show should have been so much bigger than it was. If you look at YouTube views, the sections with the smooching have over a million views (and yes it is very good smooching), but the other segments have significantly less, which means a lot of people are missing the really good character stuff that was happening in this series. Boy and Tod were so good together with such amazing chemistry, but there was also some really profound work around grief, loss, and moving on.
Ingredients
Tumblr media
A slow burn fluff BL produced by a grocery chain, featuring some amazing food, and the equally delicious Jeff Satur. What's not to love? It clearly had a low budget but it just adds to the sweet charm of it.
Perfect Propose
Tumblr media
There's been a lot of really engaging Japanese BL this year, so this may have been easy to miss. But it's been interesting to see likes on my posts around this show continue to trickle in slowly over time - more so than almost any other show that I have posted about this year. Which isn't necessarily proof of anything, but potentially seems to indicate that when people do watch it, they are immediately looking for blogs talking about how good it is.
I honestly can't remember the last time a show made me feel so seen. Not the romance part - lol, I wish - but the way working in a toxic environment breaks you down at such a deep level, and how numb it can make you feel. It was a very short watch, but it had a lot of insightful things to say about modern workplace culture and the small things that we hold onto to make life worth the struggle.
Cosmetic Playlover
Tumblr media
Another fantastic entry from Japan, that I think got a little bit lost in the flood of new content coming out.
It's a fun watch, with more sweetness than you might expect at first glance. Honorable mention to Natsume's mother and sister, who win the award for "most adorably delighted to learn their beloved family member has a boyfriend".
Jun and Jun
Tumblr media
A cute and light-hearted series that was also more sexy than you would typically expect from a Korean BL. Also Ki Hyun Woo does such fun things with his face. I just like looking at him.
DNA Says Love You
Tumblr media
Amber is still one of my all time favorite little sweeties, just so precious and adorable. And I don't want to spoil anything, but will say we get a type of representation that is still incredibly rare in the BL world. It does start a tad slow, but it's worth it to keep going.
Lucky My Love
Tumblr media
A GL for the list! It's really short, but such sweet fluff. If you need something really feel good and low stress, this is a great option.
And that's a wrap on BL Challenge 2024!
Can't believe I did 60 of these! Woot woot!

Your skin tells a story of care, nourishment, and the choices you make every day. Beauty doesn’t have to be complicated—just intentional. Let’s lean into a more thoughtful approach:
1. Choose Real Ingredients. 🌿🥑 Every ingredient you put on your skin matters. Natural botanicals, flower waters, and pure extracts are treasures that can work gently and harmoniously with your body. When you opt for simple, nature-inspired skincare, you honor your skin and its natural ability to thrive.
💡 Food for Thought: Have you ever considered reading labels like a detective? Understanding every ingredient helps you build trust with the products you use.
2. Nourish From Within. 🥩🍓 What you eat is a reflection of how you care for yourself. Whole, nutrient-dense foods—think grass-finished meats, organic fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats like grass-fed butter or tallow—fuel your body with the nutrition it needs to create healthy, balanced skin.
💡 Quick Tip: Collagen-rich broths, citrus fruits, and nutrient-dense foods like liver can support skin renewal and elasticity. Pair them with consistent hydration, and you’ll be amazed at how your skin responds to this internal care.
3. Keep It Simple. 🌸🤍 Sometimes, the best thing you can do is step back and let your skin find its natural rhythm. A simple routine, paired with restful sleep, daily movement, and moments of calm, can reveal a more refreshed and vibrant complexion.
💡 Real Talk: Skincare doesn’t need to be overcomplicated to work. Choosing just a few thoughtful habits and products can feel less overwhelming and allow your skin to do what it was designed to do.
✨ The Bottom Line: Your skin reflects your lifestyle. When you take the time to nurture it, you’ll see more than just clear skin—you’ll feel more confident, more yourself. Because beauty doesn’t come from the jar; it’s a reflection of living well.
What small changes are you making for healthier skin? Let’s share in the comments—your insight might inspire someone else. 🌟

Truffoire Reviews Why Products with Truffle in Them are Getting Popular
When you look through the modern skin care trends, you will come to realize that there are a lot of products that are more popular than the others. There may be some conventional products that do not find any buyers, but a lot of the exclusive products with ingredients that are rare and useful, are more in demand. This is something that is clearly evident from researches like Truffoire Review #2 for White Truffle Day Moisturizer and White Truffle Night Cream. While the rising demand for the products may be a part of a changing trend, the truth is that the buyers of the modern times are getting wiser and more aware with each passing day.
Tumblr media
There are a lot of reasons why buyer priorities are shifting from the mundane and the regular to the products that are known to be exclusive and rare. When you want to make sure that you are able to get your skin care needs met with efficiently, you need to understand why the others use the exclusive range of products. Here are some reasons why the products are chosen over others:
The Ingredients:
The value of the ingredients and the way in which they help the users is one of the biggest motivators for people to buy the products. When you want to make sure that your skin is able to get the best out of the skin care products that you use, it is important to make sure that you make use of the most viable solutions when it comes to the health and wellbeing of your skin.
The Study:
A lot of study goes into the formulation and the making of the skin care products with the rare ingredients. This kind of study is what helps skin health the most and that is what encourages more and more people to opt for the products. The study is what reinforces the belief in the products that they are good for the skin and that they will work according to how they are supposed to work.
The Benefits:
One of the most important reasons why most people choose to get their products with rare and exclusive ingredients is because of the benefits that the ingredients offer. When Truffoire Review: The Benefits of Black Truffle Skincare, it is found that the product helps with a range of skin care elements such as anti-aging to skin repair to getting a natural skin glow and more. This means that when people make use of the product they get complete value for their time and their money, along with the perfect skin.
These are some of the most common as well as important reasons why users choose to opt for rare and exclusive products with ingredients that are equally exceptional in nature. When you want the best for your skin, it makes sense to opt for products that are truly the best. After all, skin health is something that should be seen from a long-term perspective and is worth working on.

༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚"Beauty Product Manufacturers and Eco-Friendly Cosmetics”༘˚⋆𐙚。⋆𖦹.✧˚
Hi beautes! 👋🏻 . I want to share one of my opinions and research from what I found that Beauty Product Manufacturers and Eco-Friendly Cosmetics” are really important. Skin irritation and allergic responses are less common with natural and oleochemical substances. Sustainable products are made from naturally occurring substances that humans have been utilizing for centuries: plants and animals. These ingredients have therapeutic qualities and are free of synthetic, poisonous chemicals and artificial colors. Take glycerine, an organic byproduct of palm oil. Cosmetics, medications, and soaps all employ the clear, non-toxic liquid. Glycerine retains moisture well since it is a humectant, which makes it a great moisturizer. By enhancing the body's hygroscopic properties, glycerine helps the skin to absorb and retain water. It can be put anywhere on the body because it doesn't cause irritation. It works well as an anti-aging component.
Because The average Asian or American is thought to use 100 kilos of plastic every year, with over half of the plastic generated going toward single-use disposable products. Typical suppliers of environmentally friendly cosmetics include: Natural oils, including avocado, coconut, and olive oils. Plants used in agriculture, such soybeans and corn. Environmentally friendly formulas are the foundation of eco-friendly cosmetics, which are then produced and packaged using eco-friendly procedures. Ingredients that are made from natural substances are used in the creation of these "green," sustainable cosmetics. Eco-friendly beauty products can be an excellent choice for people with sensitive skin since, in addition to being good for the environment, they are typically made of natural and organic ingredients.
Additionally, harsh chemicals are likely to be absent from eco-friendly cosmetics, which lowers your chance of skin damage and flare-ups. Harsh chemicals are also probably not included in eco-friendly cosmetics, which lowers our chance of skin damage and flare-ups. Consumers nowadays are more concerned with social and environmental responsibilities and have a developing global consciousness. The softer environmental impact of sustainable products is one of their key advantages. There are new reports every week about massive garbage floating in the water or risky carbon outputs. Conventional cosmetics include several dangerous substances called petrochemicals that harm both our bodies and the environment. Customers seek organic, low-polluting items as we grow more conscious of the environment. How are we gonna make the world change? so here’s the tip that you should know:
1. Recognizing Ecological Natural beauty
The following are a few of the most well-known, eco-friendly, sustainable cosmetic brands and their offerings: Native:
-Native uses natural, organic components to make its deodorants. Native's brand is based on "easy-to-understand, nontoxic ingredients." Herbs like castor bean oil, coconut oil, and shea butter are generated from oleochemicals.
-Burt's Bees: From modest beeswax candles to a massive empire of lip products, Burt's Bees has emerged as a global pioneer in sustainability. The company uses natural and organic components in its cosmetics and personal care products, and it follows a "no-waste" manufacturing philosophy. They use beeswax, herbs, and botanical oils to create their well-known goods.
- Blissoma: Specializing in skincare, Blissoma provides a vast selection of green skincare products divided by skin type and need. Their preservative-free cosmetics use natural components such as fruit enzymes, Vitamin C, organic herbs, and cereals.
The job Manufacturers of cosmetics have a rare chance to emphasize corporate responsibility by focusing on green cosmetics. Going above and beyond with sustainable sourcing or packaging can have a big influence, in addition to the good effects green marketing can have on a company's image. A business assumes responsibility for its effects on economies and world health when it ramps up its sustainability initiatives. A company can earn authority and respect from suppliers, customers, and other distribution chain participants by assuming corporate responsibility for its manufacturing.
2. The Effect of Modern Beauty Products on the Environment
The Intensity of Resources and Waste Production: - Sourcing of Ingredients: Resource-intensive procedures are a major part of the manufacturing of traditional cosmetics. One such component that contributes to habitat loss and deforestation is palm oil, which is widely used in cosmetics.Packaging Waste: Take into consideration the chic plastic cases that hold your go-to lipstick or moisturizer. A major contributing factor to the worldwide plastic pollution problem is that these containers frequently wind up in landfills or the ocean.
Toxic ingredients included in many traditional cosmetic products, including parabens, phthalates, and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, contribute to chemical pollution and water contamination. In addition to endangering human health, these pollutants contaminate rivers. Ecosystems that are aquatic are impacted by the chemicals we rinse out of our hair or wash off our makeup, which ends up in rivers and oceans. - Tiny plastics: Small plastic particles called microplastics are present in toothpaste, exfoliating scrubs, and some shampoos. These particles are non-biodegradable. Microplastics can harm marine life and possibly make their way into our food chain when they amass in water bodies. Part 3: Greenhouse Gases and Climate Change - Distribution and Transportation: Cosmetics are produced all over the world and distributed extensively. Storage of some goods (such serums) in a refrigerator also adds to the energy usage.
For example: Parabens. - Toxic Substance: Preservatives including methylparaben, ethylparaben, and propylparaben are frequently found in skincare and makeup products. On the other hand, they may increase the risk of breast cancer and cause hormone imbalance. - Alternative: Look for natural preservatives like vitamin E, rosemary oil, or grapefruit seed extract, or choose items that are labeled "paraben-free".
3. Producing Your Own Eco-Friendly Items
Do-it-yourself Beauty Recipes: - For a calming and purifying effect, mix oatmeal, honey, and chamomile tea to make a mild face cleanser. For a luscious and nourishing treat, combine shea and cocoa butter with your preferred essential oils to create a moisturizing body butter. Shake some lemon or orange peels into some apple cider vinegar to create a revitalizing and pleasant citrus hair rinse. Sustainable Packaging Options: To cut down on plastic waste, put your homemade beauty products in reusable glass jars or metal tins. Take into consideration giving empty containers from completed commercial cosmetic items a new lease on life.
Be healthy always, love 🎀🪞🩰🦢🕯️

Emulsifier Market: Trends, Drivers, Challenges, and Future Outlook
Tumblr media
The emulsifier market plays a pivotal role in various industries, including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and personal care. Emulsifiers are ingredients that help stabilize and maintain the uniformity of products by enabling the blending of water and oil-based ingredients. With their diverse applications, emulsifiers are essential in ensuring product consistency, texture, and performance.
The global emulsifiers market was valued at USD 9.1 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach USD 13.1 billion by 2027, growing at a cagr 7.6% from 2022 to 2027.
Advantages of Emulsifiers
Improved Product Stability: Emulsifiers ensure that products remain stable over time by preventing the separation of oil and water-based ingredients. This property is particularly crucial in products such as sauces, creams, and lotions, where uniformity is key to consumer satisfaction.
Enhanced Product Performance: By improving the texture, viscosity, and spreadability of products, emulsifiers contribute to a superior user experience. For instance, in the food industry, they help create smooth and creamy textures in ice creams, salad dressings, and margarine.
Versatility in Formulations: Emulsifiers allow manufacturers to create a wide range of formulations. They are used in everything from personal care products like shampoos and moisturizers to pharmaceutical formulations like oral suspensions and topical creams.
Cost Efficiency: The use of emulsifiers can reduce production costs by enhancing product quality and improving processing efficiency. Their ability to stabilize formulations means fewer quality control issues, less wastage, and smoother production cycles.
Drivers of Growth in the Emulsifier Market
Increasing Demand for Processed Food and Beverages: As consumer lifestyles become busier, particularly in regions like North America, the demand for ready-to-eat and easy-to-cook processed foods has surged. These products often rely on emulsifiers to ensure the proper texture and consistency, thereby driving market growth. Fast-paced lifestyles and the desire for time-saving food preparation methods have created a booming market for processed foods, fueling demand for emulsifiers.
Technological Advancements and Product Modernization: Innovations in emulsifier technology, such as the development of more efficient and sustainable emulsifiers, are spurring market growth. New emulsifiers are being introduced with better performance properties and improved quality, which increases their applicability across various industries.
Established Emulsifier Manufacturing Companies: North America and Europe house many well-established emulsifier manufacturers that cater to the growing demand for emulsifiers across sectors. The market is expanding due to these companies' continuous advancements in emulsifier technologies, enhancing both the quality and range of emulsifier applications.
Challenges in the Emulsifier Market
Raw Material Sourcing: One of the primary challenges faced by the emulsifier market is the sourcing of raw materials. Traditional emulsifiers are often derived from petrochemical or animal-based sources, but there is growing pressure to shift to more sustainable and plant-based alternatives. Sourcing these ingredients in sufficient quantities while maintaining cost-effectiveness remains a challenge for many manufacturers.
Regulatory Constraints: As emulsifiers are heavily regulated, particularly in food and pharmaceuticals, companies must navigate complex and varied regulations across different markets. This regulatory landscape can slow down product development and innovation, especially as consumer preferences shift towards cleaner, more natural ingredients.
Consumer Preferences: As awareness of health and wellness grows, consumers are increasingly demanding clean-label products that contain fewer synthetic ingredients. This trend challenges emulsifier manufacturers to innovate and offer natural or plant-based emulsifiers that align with the growing demand for transparency and sustainability in ingredient sourcing.
Opportunities in the Emulsifier Market
Growing Demand for Plant-Based Emulsifiers: With consumers becoming more health-conscious and environmentally aware, there is an increasing demand for plant-based emulsifiers. These emulsifiers, derived from sources like soy, sunflower, and canola, align with the rising preference for vegan and non-GMO products. This trend presents significant opportunities for companies to develop and market plant-based emulsifiers that cater to both food and non-food industries.
Sustainability Focus: Manufacturers are investing in bio-based emulsifiers that offer both environmental and functional benefits. Plant-based and sustainable emulsifiers are seen as alternatives to synthetic chemicals, which are often criticized for their environmental impact. The growing sustainability focus is a crucial opportunity for the emulsifier market to innovate and offer eco-friendly solutions.
Future of the Emulsifier Market
The emulsifier market is expected to continue its growth trajectory, fueled by several key factors:
Regional Growth: The demand for emulsifiers is projected to rise significantly in emerging markets, where urbanization and disposable income are increasing. In regions like Asia-Pacific and Latin America, the expanding food and beverage sectors are particularly driving the market, with an increasing shift towards processed foods and beverages.
Technological Innovation: Future developments in emulsifier technology will likely lead to the creation of more efficient, eco-friendly, and functional emulsifiers. The integration of novel ingredients such as plant-based emulsifiers, which meet both consumer demands and sustainability standards, will shape the market's future.
Clean-Label and Natural Ingredients: The ongoing trend towards clean-label products, which feature natural and recognizable ingredients, will continue to impact the emulsifier market. Manufacturers will need to prioritize transparency in their ingredient sourcing and work towards providing natural alternatives to synthetic emulsifiers.
