Sulemio Week day 3 & 4

Day 3 both prompts kind of stumped me, as I couldn't figure out a composition I liked. I ended up liking the idea of a shot of what I imagined to be their drinks and keychains, except Cool-San got cut off a bit in the end version of this. Day 4 Me: Hhhhmm what could be a fun take on Supernatural and a Mortal or a Band/Rockstar AU... Inspiration to Draw: What about the classic Vampire/Hu- Inspiration to Draw: ZELDA!! Me: That doesn't make any sense, a Rockstar AU sounds fun mayb- Inspiration to Draw: Zelda AU, you coward! Miorine as Navi! Suletta as Link!! Get to drawing it's this or nothing and you know it! Me *starting to google navi refences*: ...You're right. Having finished drawing the zelda au doodle, I'm really glad I went through and drew it, it was a lot of fun trying to think of how to even convey it's suppose to be Miorine, and Suletta as a link feels so right. I only wish I had more time to do it justice, but the close up will have to do until I can.

We never post rants really but like

We are working on human designs versions of utmv characters and we always hit a roadblock when it comes to dream. Not because he’s hard to design but finding any pre existing references for designs is frustrating. The design itself is bland, he just looks like a generic anime boy - but our main issue is how people pose him as some weak frail smol bean. Grrrr I know it’s canon but goddamit it gets on our nerves. We don’t like how people characterize dream and how dream was written and how he’s drawn aandd asggrgrgffg- he has potential as a character but the infantilization is crazy.

But yeah- wip in designing him
