The line art colour match the characters vibes they're not really lore based but you know what is

The poses. Obv grain is looking at the camera (and has eyes) cuz he's a watcher but also scott and martyn are looking to one side cuz they were happy about their win and pear and scar are looking to the other cuz they were sad/confused

None of them really have facial features cuz like they're players in a game come on why would they ever have an actual identity other than 'player'

Also look at scotts bow and scars cane please i put way too much detail into them

As gently and politely as I can put this: that post I made about outliving him is meant to be an anti-suicide affirmation. It is not meant to be a blinders-on assessment of reality, of the future boiling down to whether one man lives or dies. as someone who has sabred open one (1) bottle of champagne in her life, I am taking the firm stance that dedicated Champagne Sabres spoil the fun

either use a sword (looks really cool, the whole point of the exercise in my opinion) or use like a butter knife (economical, very impressive because most people don't realize that you use the dull side of the blade anyway so they'll think "whoa, this person can slash open champagne WITH A DULL KNIFE???")

there's nothing cool about doing it with a knife that's clearly not a sword, but also not a kitchen knife that you just happen to have lying around for other purposes and casually use to show off your sabrage prowess

birthday was nice! hung out at home, had a good time with my son, went out in the rain, got a bunch of stuff in the mail, husband came home, we got some tasty chinese food for dinner, had some cake. a pretty good day. then literally five minutes before heading off to bed, i 1. got a huge papercut on my index finger, 2. spilled hot cocoa powder all over the floor, and 3. found out my brother didn't get me those swords after all
