What does "stim" mean in your tags

Stim has a few meanings but for me when I say #cookingstim or any of the other tags, I use it cause these videos or watching cooking videos calm me down enough to sleep.

Because I work overnight, I have a hard time falling asleep when I get home. So I usually get my room really dark and watch cooking videos on IG until I fall asleep. Idk if that makes sense but it works for me.

Stimming comes in many forms, from rocking back and forth, hand tapping, foot tapping, ect.

Fidget Spinners were popular for a while and that was another way to stim.

Anyone that wants to add to this feel free to do so.

Are there any food blogs you recomend to follow?

the main few blogs i consistently try to reblog from are @foodstimming (who’s slightly less active than usual, but nonetheless has great content to scroll thru) , @foodiest-stims, @cookingstims, and @brattylikestoeat! i also check out @buzzfeedtasty sometimes but theyre more slow to post. 

^ all of these blogs, by the way, post all types of food content. so if you wanted to see more dessert stims, or beverage ones, I hope you can find something you like with these! :)

“Shut up and Dance” makes me happy. I’ve listened to other, similar song throughout the years--Anything with a beat, really. Unless I’m mad, then I want something that’ll let me vent--like Metallica or Dropkick (High energy but angry)

Cup: Do you drink Tea or Coffee?

Yes! (lol) I was a tea drinker until I worked opening shift at a swim club (free coffee and tea, but the tea was lipton and I have standards) Since then, it was coffee exclusively--but recently I’ve been getting back into tea, and since getting back from the UK, I’ve had tea exclusively. Scottish Breakfast.  

English: How many languages can you speak?

Fluently? One. English. But I can also speak Academic, and can make myself understood in Spanish as long as we’re making smalltalk.

Planned Parenthood is the only one that currently gets money from my broke ass, but my wife and I both have supported various local animal shelters/rescues and the Wounded Warrior Project.

I will watch baseball with my wife (Yankees and Cubs), and I really enjoy going to the stadium. 

Xylophone: Do you play an instrument?

Trombone, but it’s been long enough that I’m rusty as hell. (My trombone isn’t rusty, though, I’m no fool. It’s a lovely rose brass, tho).

Bright, though I’ve moved away from neons recently. I tend to choose shades of red.
