it seemed as if alec was dedicated to being good and it was something that chris could appreciate in the moment . he groaned softly , teeth nipping at the man's neck . he knew he shouldn't have gotten off at that thought but he did . the idea that he could have had alec at the summer house was an intoxicating one . " i guess we have a lot of loss time to make up for , " he breathed .

he curved his frame against chris' body, aching for more from him but unwilling to break his record for good behaviour. he stroked chris a little faster, enjoying the brief glimpse of satisfaction on the man's face and greedily hoping for more. he smirked, but chris' movement coaxed a quiet gasp from alec before he could respond. when he'd steadied himself, he found his voice, though his hips still twitched in protest. " the summer house, " he murmured, " felix brought me there every summer, and every summer marisa would steal him away for a couple of hours, " he pointed out, " you could've used me a number of times then... "

the truly funniest thing about kitty is that, to me, julian and kit are intensely similar people. like they’ve got differences obviously, but they’re both more along the ‘cunning strategist who grew up too young’ type. they both knew from a young age how to lie and how to not trust others. they’re both good at reading people for survival. kit says something like ‘if julian walked into hell he’d leave with the devil owing him a favor’. it’s so funny that ty ended up liking the unsocialized mysterious purse dog version of his brother.

the most unrealistic part of cohf was how little (almost to none) interaction we had between izzy and alec post malec breakup and make up era. she's his ride or die, don't forget she fully concocted a plan and drag people to annoy magnus with voicemails and also storm the loft of a 600 years old experienced warlock with nothing but her whip, heels, good hair and an alec lightwood supremacy banner so why wouldn't she have some qualm after they get back together

sometimes I lay at night thinking what exactly did daisy write in the description of alec hardy's tinder profile and what pictures did she use that made her think that could get women to swipe right on him. was it selfies? was it candid photos she took? was alec wearing that blue jumper on and reading a paper with his legs crossed in the photos? Simon spoke without thinking. “Are he and Isabelle … Is there something going on there?”

That startled a laugh out of Alec. “Isabelle and Sebastian? Hardly. Sebastian’s a nice guy—Isabelle only likes dating thoroughly inappropriate boys our parents will hate. Mundanes, Downworlders, petty crooks …”

“Thanks,” Simon said. “I’m glad to be classed with the criminal element.”

“I think she does it for attention,” Alec said. “She’s the only girl in the family too, so she has to keep proving how tough she is. Or at least, that’s what she thinks.”

“Or maybe she’s trying to take the attention off you,” Simon said, almost absently. “You know, since your parents don’t know you’re gay and all.”

Alec stopped in the middle of the road so suddenly that Simon almost crashed into him. “No,” he said, “but apparently everyone else does.”

“Except Jace,” Simon said. “He doesn’t know, does he?”

Alec took a deep breath. He was pale, Simon thought, or it could have just been the moonlight, washing the color out of everything. His eyes looked black in the darkness. “I really don’t see what business it is of yours. Unless you’re trying to threaten me.”

“Trying to threaten you?” Simon was taken aback. “I’m not—”

“Then why?” said Alec, and there was a sudden, sharp vulnerability in his voice that took Simon aback. “Why bring it up?”

“Because,” Simon said. “You seem to hate me most of the time. I don’t take it that personally, even if I did save your life. You seem to kind of hate the whole world. And besides, we have practically nothing in common. But I see you looking at Jace, and I see myself looking at Clary, and I figure—maybe we have that one thing in common. And maybe it might make you dislike me a little less.”

“So you’re not going to tell Jace?” Alec said. “I mean—you told Clary how you felt, and …”

“And it wasn’t the best idea,” said Simon. “Now I wonder all the time how you go back after something like that. Whether we can ever be friends again, or if what we had is broken into pieces. Not because of her, but because of me. Maybe if I found someone else …”

“Someone else,” Alec repeated. He had started walking again, very quickly, staring at the road ahead of him.

Simon hurried to keep up. “You know what I mean. For instance, I think Magnus Bane really likes you. And he’s pretty cool. He throws great parties, anyway. Even if I did get turned into a rat that time.”

“Thanks for the advice.” Alec’s voice was dry. “But I don’t think he likes me all that much. He barely spoke to me when he came to open the Portal at the Institute.”

“Maybe you should call him,” Simon suggested, trying not to think too hard about how weird it was to be giving a demon hunter advice about possibly dating a warlock.

“Can’t,” Alec said. “No phones in Idris. It doesn’t matter, anyway.”

The beach plus football in the summer were some of JD's favorite things. So he immediately knew he'd find himself tossing the old pig skin around with some people. Figuring maybe they could even get a game going at some point, depending on how many of them were game for it. "Hey Alec!" JD said as he arrived, holding his hands up for the other to toss him the ball.

Se veía sumamente atractivo escribiendo, sus ojos azules brillaban y su mentón formaba una linda figura que le daba ganas de besarlo, las runas en su cuello que se asomaban por encima de su suéter brillan con la luz lunar. Su cabello estaba desalineado y quiso acomodar un mechón de su cabello, estiro su mano y apenas sintió que lo rozo pero la alejo cuanto antes porque sabía que a Alec aún le causaba conflicto las muestras de cariño en público, tal vez aquí no hubiera ningún cazador de sombras que lo juzgara, sin embargo, en pleno siglo XXI, había gente que no aceptaba de forma natural esos gestos, Magnus suponía que pese a todo el tiempo eso sería algo que no cambiaría en la humanidad.—Creo que no deberías ponerles que desearías que estuvieran aquí—Indicó entrometiéndose en la postal de Alec.—Son las primeras vacaciones con mi nuevo novio. Muy nuevo, tan nuevo que aún huele a coche recién estrenado—Pronunció soltando un suspiro y guardando una sonrisa. Le quito la postal y le coloco con su letra “En realidad, no”.

he watched as alec shifted but he wasn't going to back down . alec had the choice here . break up with felix or don't . he almost wanted to chuckle , " you're not getting off that easily , alec , " and he knew how that could be taken more than one way . he looked down at his watch , " hopefully he calls back soon . "

chris' eyes were red hot on him, alec shifted uncomfortably in his spot. was he really this low? would he really hurt felix this way just to get off? his gaze flickered towards the older man, and once again sense left his body. " hi, felix-- " he breathed, " we... we need to talk, can you call me back? please. " alec ended the call and sighed, " if he doesn't call back-- I'll drive over there. " his gaze shifted to the floor, " don't suppose you'll fuck me now and I'll break up with felix after? "

the thing is, alec’s response to magnus in 3.16 isn’t BAD, it’s just not what magnus wants or needs to hear answered. at least, not the full extent of it. alec’s unconditional love for him being laid out could never be a bad thing i don’t think, but he’s only really hearing one thing magnus is saying (which is essentially that alec fell in love with the high warlock of brooklyn and couldn’t possibly like him like this now) and his response to that is filled with genuine (and necessary! bc it is one part of the conversation they’re having) care as he tries to dissuade magnus from thinking it matters to him.

... but that’s uncomfortable for magnus, because it matters to HIM, and it matters a little bit that it doesn’t matter to alec. and this part is harder for magnus to put into words, harder for alec to understand in a way i’m sure magnus knows. bc it harkens back to the communication issues they were having in 3.05-3.06! and it’s that like. magic is a fundamental part of who magnus is, he doesn’t like or even know who he is without it, being without it feels BAD and unnatural, plain and simple. so for alec to stand there and list off the reasons he loves magnus (rather desperately, bc he’s getting panicked, as ya do) is NICE, but it kinda misses the point, or at least a very huge part of the point, of what magnus is trying to say. which is that he doesn’t feel like himself without magic, and i think it makes magnus more uncomfortable than he’d care to admit that alec doesn’t get or see that, that he implies (sort of unknowingly? it’s complex) that he doesn’t care about that. but of course, what alec means isn’t that he doesn’t care about how magnus feels - it’s that how magnus feels doesn’t change how alec feels about him!

Quentin made his way through the hospital, just having had a conversation with the chief of surgery after he got his all clear for his leg injury. Going back to work had been something he'd been looking towards after having spent close to a year at home, give or take a few months. It was when he spotted his colleague that he stopped. "Alec. Still slumming it up here, I see." He greeted him. "How've things been around here?" @alecxkincade

"So, how're things? How's work?" Santiago asked as he returned to the living room, two glasses of lemonade in his hand which he set down. He might be recovering, but he wasn't one to sit around and let his guests do things for him. If anything, he was a good host. As long as his husband wouldn't find out, he'd be fine. He would just hope that Viktor wouldn't look at the camera footage, though he knew that he was avoiding the kitchen whenever he could, maybe that extended to viewing footage as well. "You've no idea how badly I want to go back to work, it's ridiculous, really." He was nowhere near fit, but sitting around at home all day was driving him crazy. At least Joanna was off school, so that helped having her around more. @alecxkincade

Amayah walked through the hospital walls, making her way towards the exit after an appointment when her physician had deemed her blood pressure to be too low. All was well in the end, something she had gotten used to in the last several years. Nothing was out of the ordinary until Amayah noticed a doctor walking her way. She hadn't realised that she had been staring at the man until her eyes started to hurt. "I'm sorry, excuse me." She caught his attention, if her staring hadn't already. "You seem familiar, have we met before? I swear this isn't a pick up line, I just..." Little did she know he was the doctor that pronounced her daughter's death ten years ago. She hadn't been awake, her memory had failed her in the days after.

When Alex had first gotten the booking, he had accepted it while just skimming the details. A full night, nice hotel, sex was likely, and the guy was likely a top. No specific requests, no specific kinks or fetishes. So, Alex just got dressed, grabbed his go bag, and headed on over. He grabbed the first room key once he got to the front desk, heading up and admiring the room once he was inside. He still had a while before the guy was supposed to show up, so he hopped into the shower, humming as he washed his body and hair. Pretty soon, he hopped out and blow dried his hair, drying off his body and putting on a brown jockstrap that had the Hershey's logo on the crotch. Just for a bit of fun. He hopped up on the bed and pulled out his phone to check the time, and he had only a few minutes before his new client was supposed to arrive, so he laid down on top of the covers facing the door, waiting patiently for Alec's arrival.

He stood behind a stroller and had his niece using his arm as a jungle gym. With his wife and brother working, he had taken it upon himself to look after both children. Might as well since he had all the time in the world now. He figured walking through the city center was a nice idea. getting some fresh air. He should've chosen for the backyard instead.
