And it never ends! It feels like every moment of peace and rest this time of year is a blip among everything else on the to-do list. But I'm sure we'll be missing it once we hit that social lull after New Year's. Some things never change. My contributions are ready to go for tomorrow! I can't wait!

It's been a busy few weeks, to say the least, I was kind of glad when Halloween ended and I could just coast for a little while -- although keeping busy with the shelter this weekend is in the cards, too, admittedly. I do not, other than my mother is planning her usual spread, but that will never change.

Izzzzzy! Here's the deal, I redid my place like a year ago and have had all of this packed up since. I finally decided to haul it all here in hopes of selling it. So please tell me you need lamps, or a rug, or any of this really..

It's hard! And I'm grown. I imagine it's so much worse for like, teenagers, and stuff. Younger people who don't know life without socials and influencers. Luckily, it's easier, like I said, when the popular trends are so opposite of what you're into, what you like. Honestly, reality TV is great. It was much better, much more entertaining years and years ago. But at least there's still that. Whether scripted or not. Someone else's life crashing and burning is always a comfort to witness when you feel like you're in a bad spot. And for that, I will not apologize. Perfect! I will be there with wine in hand and Honey!

That would be a major plus side of being a little bit older -- I never really paid attention to influencer culture, and now I don't have to worry about disengaging from it the way that so many people eventually do. Don't have to stop what you never started! A small blessing. But I do think that's why a lot of people enjoy reality TV, or following those people, is so that they can feel better about their own problems and drama, or maybe just find someone to relate to. Dinner, as far as I know; mom's planning a big spread, as usual, so that's where I'll be, and you know that you always have a standing invitation.

once again thinking about jason as duke’s robin. he’s ~4 years younger than jason, and that puts him at 8-12 during Jason’s time as robin. that’s prime time to get attached to your local kid vigilante before your own life goes downhill.

and if we try to keep duke’s meeting with bruce in zero year + duke’s age (so he can remember the meeting and hold that conversation with bruce), he has to be around 8. if he starts following batman through the news at that time because of the mess that just happened, the robin he sees is probably jason. We will have to get together, even just for a little bit, while at the beach! I'm a little overdue for some baby snuggles. And, I'm just happy to take her off of your hands for a bit, if you'd like to get a tan or quick swim in. It will be an adjustment, but I'm sure all will go well! Do you have a time for when exactly you'll be back to work full time? Both, I think? She seems far more excited though, than nervous, which is comforting for me in a way. I'm nervous enough for us both. But we get to move her in, check out the area. Weekend in Ithaca, it should be good! It should go well!

She is! I'm pretty lucky there. I plan to take her out with me for a little bit. She's got a cute little hat and all. I think she'll like the beach. It's very nice! Especially with Audrey still being very young, I get to work some hours at home, some at the office and still get some time with her as well. Once I'm fully back to work, things will be different. How's that been like? Is she excited? Nervous? A bit of both? I know I was nervous, but it was also pretty nice getting to spend some time away from home. Nope, New York's not too far!
