Have you seen the state of the world these days? It's not a vibe killer, it's a mood. You're just not as hip as I am, obviously. But that's true, I do enjoy getting to reap the benefits of anything -- does that mean there are lots of crafts lined up for me to help out with this time around?

Right back at you! I think it has been some pretty fun last few weeks. Now, I am simply excited about settling in properly into the holiday season. Do you know what the plans are for Thanksgiving yet?

You're completely right, and it is one of the many, many reasons that I love you so much. It really did, I happened to have an amazing dance partner, which certainly helped things, and my feet didn't hurt too much the next morning. Although it was touch and go… We'll have to see what we can make happen -- but until then, we have Hallo-Week to look forward to. I'm figuring at least one movie date, probably go do something spooky, so that I have the chance to feel masculine and ridiculous and keep you safe from harm.

You would think I would be a little more into the snow, having grown up with it. I don't hate it, I don't love it. I simply prefer to be warm and cozy. Not really. It's my time to lounge on my mom's couch while she makes me my favorite foods, spend time with my sisters, and somewhere in between I visit other relatives or my childhood friends. We will do an early or late gift exchange, dependent on if I visit before or after Christmas.

We will have to get together, even just for a little bit, while at the beach! I'm a little overdue for some baby snuggles. And, I'm just happy to take her off of your hands for a bit, if you'd like to get a tan or quick swim in. It will be an adjustment, but I'm sure all will go well! Do you have a time for when exactly you'll be back to work full time? Both, I think? She seems far more excited though, than nervous, which is comforting for me in a way. I'm nervous enough for us both. But we get to move her in, check out the area. Weekend in Ithaca, it should be good! It should go well!

She is! I'm pretty lucky there. I plan to take her out with me for a little bit. She's got a cute little hat and all. I think she'll like the beach. It's very nice! Especially with Audrey still being very young, I get to work some hours at home, some at the office and still get some time with her as well. Once I'm fully back to work, things will be different. How's that been like? Is she excited? Nervous? A bit of both? I know I was nervous, but it was also pretty nice getting to spend some time away from home. Nope, New York's not too far!

And that's what's good about a place like this. Can't say I see myself here forever, but this town's been good to me, to my family. It's been almost ten years. Yeah, basically. Got to live both lives. Haha, no, not really. Friend of friends sort of deal. We met at a house party. Ary came along not long after that. Lucky we get along as well as we do, still now. How'd the rest of your Halloween week go? How's it been going?

Exactly, even someone like me, who very much so didn't want to end up here, has come around to seeing the plus side and realizing that it's a good town that I want to live in long term, you know? Sounds like you could kind of get the best of both worlds, visiting the reservation and a big city? That had to be kind of nice. Oh! That's awesome, did you guys know each other for a very long time? Halloween is wild at the bar, even though it's a sports bar, you still have a ton of people coming out that just want something good to drink in a different setting, that kind of vibe. But I am making really good tips, so no complaints.
