"Oh, trust me darling," Constance purrs, her smile growing all the more mischievous, "Now that you're here, we shall have such schemes. Monty has his own agenda, of course, but I haven't had anyone to play with. Now that you're here, we can have a bit of fun." Gabriel was, after all, always a great playmate when it came to a little organized chaos. With Monty and Alistair both distracted by their own endeavors, Constance had been feeling a little left out. She did not have much to do and no one to really occupy her; neither Monty nor Alistair had really needed her particular persuasions as of late. Constance could be patient, but she never enjoyed idling; lucky for her, Gabriel never was idle.

"They're attaching you to a Schellenberg?" Constance scoffed. "But they are paupers, for now at least. What good does an alliance with Liechtenstein do for Sicily? No, you could do far better than a pauper prince from a baby nation." Constance rolled her eyes on Gabriel's behalf. "He's handsome so at least there's that." Not that good looks had ever been enough to justify a marriage where nothing else was gained; forcing Gabriel into a match with the Schellenbergs seemed a cruel joke. At least he was at Versailles and betrothals could be broken if better options prevailed; they could find Gabriel a better option...and till then, they could have what fun they wished. She slid her hands down to his chest. "What a word...I never think of myself as a tease. more like an investment." Though more often than not, she was out for blood. "Only two. Poor things did not know what happened. They didn't think to check for my knife. I bet you would know exactly where to check." Something told her that Gabriel would find the dagger strapped to her thigh astoundingly quick.

He is no stranger to the art of seduction. It is as imperative to ruling the seas, as violence itself. There is the allure of flesh, of which Constance holds over him in spades. That perfect, English beauty that haunts his carnal dreams. But more than that, she seduces him with her wit. A consummate professional in how she pushes and pulls, leaving Gabriel hungry for more. What he wouldn't give to have her in his bed, just once. "Quality over quantity, doll. You would get me going with your vicious schemes alone." It is a compliment of the highest order. Constance drives him mad - and it is not just because he's dying to touch her body.

"But as it happens, I'll at least have to try with the latest one person. For now. A Prince Stefan of Liechtenstein." Even in the midst of friendliness and seduction, he's careful not to give away too much. His expression more curious and intrigued than what it really is - irritated. But if the price of his reinstatement (and with it, free reign of his enterprises), is a husband? So be it. "I'm told we're supposed to make quite a pair." Though there is no claim to fidelity, and Gabriel could play some parts. A loyal lover? Impossible. He licks his lips, catching the faintest brush of Constance's lips. "And you are a wicked tease out for blood." He quirks a brow. "Kidnapped?" He has to laugh, lacking in concern and instead riddled with mirth. "What a shame. For them. How many did you leave crying and bleeding?" Without invitation, he runs a taunting finger along her forearm, leaning easily by her side.

If there's anyone out there that cares about flower language and symbolism like I do, I made an informal write-up some time ago about the in-game flowers (that you can put in your house) and the different symbolism that they can mean.

I only included the symbolism for the in-game colors and also their general meaning.

Also as a disclaimer these could be incorrect, have contrasting meanings, or have different meanings in different real-world cultures. White chrysanthemums (kiku) are usually a funeral flower in Japan for instance. (My Japanese professor once said they were a faux pas for her to receive in a bouquet!) So your mileage may vary!

Triteleia 🔷 They're a North American wildflower also called 'triplet lilies' or 'Ithuriel's spear' which is a reference to John Milton's epic English poem, Paradise Lost. It's about an angel sent by Gabriel to find Satan in the Garden of Eden. Satan, in the form of a toad, is introducing evil suggestions into the ear of Eve when Ithuriel pokes him with a spear. Satan then returns to his true form, "... for no falsehood can endure Touch of Celestial temper, but returns Of force to its own likeness."

So, I can't find any symbolism for this one. Would make a possibly good Halone/Ishgard reference if you wanted to read into it, though.

Alright, I'm finally done with this redraw of old fanarts I did 5-6 years ago. I tried to give them a more dynamic pose when I could.

I took the opportunity to draw Lenny without his helmet, in both his delightful side and his Sector Z counterpart. Also, that's also his canon haircut as Sector Z 👀

Since I don't know the canon eye colour for Constance, I went with the solid black dot eyes for her.

Ride The Cyclone x FNAF AU

now, i've been very hyperfixated on fnaf ever since it came out (but let's be real, its probably a special interest at this point), and you know, when you get a new interest, you can't help but merge it to your other ones and make a crazy au, so i've been thinking about assigning each animatronic with a ride the cyclone character, just for fun, but then i got to really think about it.

we all know that in five nights at freddy's we have the five missing children, and these children get killed by william afton, stuffed into the animatronic suits, and then they come and haunt the pizzeria because they're restless souls.

in ride the cyclone, we have six teenagers who die a tragic death, probably restless as well, as it seems like they haven't gone to the afterlife yet, at least not properly, as they've been "robbed of their individuality from a mass tragedy" as stated by karnak.

SO

of course, me being a noel gruber fanatic, i thought of who he'd be first, and well i was thinking, there's two parallel theories in these two medias that i like very much.

the deaths of them.

specifically, two kids dying at the same time, or well, with each other.

in fnaf, there's a well known theory/famous headcanon that freddy/gabriel and bonnie/jeremy were killed at about the same time and place, hence why there's a lot of imagery and stuff of the two together.

now, who else do we know have a certain theory in rtc that eludes to them dying with each other?

to be honest i just think freddy as misha is kinda funny..

but anyways, so we have two, how about the other four?

foxy as ricky.

idk, i just think it's neat. foxes are felines in a way. also him being a pirate (as stated by moni when i ws cooking this up) fits as well.

i also made a connection of foxy (animatronic) being out of order all the time because he keeps having malfunctions. with ricky having a degenerative disease.. you get it.

up next is chica.

well, this one's pretty obvious to me, constance!

Today is Gabrielle's deathday. She died late at night on February 10, 1793. Very sad.

But a question I have had for a long time: Did she really die in childbirth?

The official document of her death states only that she died of illness. If it was death in childbirth, someone would write what happened to the child, but no one mentions it (at least I have never seen it). Her family (her brother Victor Charpentier wrote a letter about it to his fiancée Constance) does not mention why she died. And her son Antoine wrote a letter about his mother to the historian Michelet in later years, but even there the cause of death is not mentioned.

The source for this would be Lucile's diary, but considering the fact that it has long been misread in other places (the description of the August 10), I cannot be sure until we see the handwriting. (To be honest, it is hard for read.)

Many of the anecdotes about Danton's personal life and family (such as why he remarried Louise) are believed without being proved, so I don't think my question is bizarre...
