some of you might be unhappy to hear this but an interview mentioning that Eddie would want to hang out with his bestie of 7 years and the guy he hung out with at least 3 times a week and who he introduced to his son within weeks of knowing him, when said son no longer lives with (or speaks to) him, especially during a time he isn't dating 2 women simultaneously, being alone bar his coworkers and friends who are clearly very busy with other things...

all of that has nothing to do with one ship or another and maybe for once we could just acknowledge that he is his own character, more than ever before probably and just not act like there is something weird about that or as if it Must Have romantic intentions one way or another

the man is lonely you all, ofc he's gonna lean on the people he's still got left, it's the least surprising thing ever

After interview between nomura and kaneshiro from egoist bible 2 I can say with confidence that Ubers is nomura's team. We already know that he likes barou, and now in egoist bible 2, he is focusing on Sendou Shuuto. Both of them are in ubers and both of them are goal scorers. I wonder how kaneshiro decided who will be in which team and if nomura had any saying in it.

and why people complained until the end of the series that Nita and Kovit (Not Even Bones) were aspec and not dating

and why people practically celebrate the backtracking of the confirmation that Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) is aromantic

and why people with non-canon gay ships get really upset at non-canon aspec headcanons

and why there is a massive gap in the amount of people who ship gay/lesbian characters with women/men and the amount of people who ship aroace characters

The people (@shutuplook) asked me to elaborate on my demiromantic ace Reyna/Pipeyna shenanigans this so I’m posting this bit from a fic I’m working on

Reyna fell in love in the same way she made plans. It was a time-consuming endeavor.

Being the daughter of a war goddess, she had a meticulous eye for detail when it came to battle plans. Having spent enough time brooding over a plan, she could describe it blindly in its entirety. There was comfort and relief in knowing something so thoroughly.

She’d loved Jason that way—learning him until he was thoroughly familiar. Or, more accurately: she’d learned him first, and loving him had just happened naturally as she did.

And then he’d disappeared, and when she’d seen him again it was as if he’d been replaced by a completely different person, the one constant in Reyna‘s life removed in an instant.

For years, they’d grown and changed together, and suddenly he’d changed so thoroughly without her that she’d barely recognized him.

For a while, Reyna had wondered if she’d made up the way she’d loved Jason. If maybe these feelings had been misinterpreted severely because loving him would have been convenient. Because praetors ended up together so often that it was almost expected.

Over time, she’d learned to love this new Jason in a different way that wasn't any less meaningful.

But then, there was Piper. Piper, who let herself feel things so easily when Reyna had secured her heart with walls and locks, determined not to let herself feel too much lest it cloud her strategic judgment. Piper, who saw through her with such practiced ease that it terrified Reyna. Even more terrifying, perhaps, was the fact that sometimes she didn’t mind at all.

A year of really knowing Piper, and suddenly Reyna knew with agonizing certainty that the way she’d loved Jason hadn’t been a fluke, after all.

The way she knew Piper felt like home. Being able to close her eyes and knowing exactly what she looked like when she smiled, her easy laugh the most familiar sound in the world. Knowing her heart and the things that hurt it. Knowing the topics she could ramble about forever—Pokémon and research for her dad’s movies and pranks she and Leo were planning. Knowing her favorite ice cream flavor was strawberry. Knowing the way her hands closed around her dagger when they had practice fights, and the directions her attacks were most likely to come from. Knowing the way her eyes sparkled when she won.

Knowing that, despite all these familiarities, Piper still managed to surprise her sometimes.

Reyna couldn’t have done anything other than love her. Loving her was like breathing.

i mean in a different interview that came out tonight ryan literally said he’d be down to explore buddie so i think tim mightve just figured a bi buck arc first would make sense tbh

my assumption is that tim had an idea for buck for s7 either with natalia or with lucy, since tim mentioned he wanted to bring her back, but when neither actress could fit it into their schedules he was suddenly left in a lurch and chose to flip the storylines since the actress who plays marisol (unfortunately) was open and willing to return.

honestly, i try to temper my expectations regarding any ship, but to ME this seems like a very good sign bc it implies that tim and the writers have discussed BOTH buck and eddie being queer. kind of feels like they think it's interchangeable which could, maybe, be a sign that they're both headed in that direction.

ryan has also played a queer character before and the rumors about him being homophobic or having issues with buddie have always seemed pretty empty to me.

It was not a good idea to listen to today’s wtnv on my commute to work because as soon as Abby Fucking Palmer’s voice came out of my car radio I about choked and died. Which is NOT a good reaction when you are operating a vehicle.
