So anyway
I recommend the Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 Subcompact
There are also a lot of resources out there to find apolitical/left-friendly gun ranges. Please protect yourself, your friends, and your loved ones.

In the article "Why Is This Ayoob’s Favorite 1911 for Training?" by Massad Ayoob, the author recounts his extensive experience with the Springfield Armory Range Officer 1911 pistol that he has used for over a decade. Ayoob describes the 1911 as highly reliable and effective, likening its operation to that of a Singer sewing machine. He reflects on how the pistol's reliability underlines his principle that good shooting owes more to the shooter’s technique than the firearm's cost. Ayoob has used this 1911 extensively in his roles as a firearms instructor and in various shooting competitions, often surpassing more expensive custom guns. Despite signs of wear from frequent use, the gun has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance, leading to top finishes in competitive events such as The Pin Shoot. Ayoob concludes that the Springfield Armory 1911 offers excellent value and build quality, underscoring his satisfaction with this dependable firearm.

May we see Valorie and Alieen
Of course! Aileen is my Sig and was my first, so naturally has a very special place in my heart 💕 I need to get a custom holster made due to the fact that I added the laser pointer, flashlight, and red dot, but haven't gotten around to it. Val is my tiny .380 (for easy pocket carry) (mask for scale 😅)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also got a Jericho recently which is a gorgeous piece and an absolute pleasure to hold & to shoot - the weighting is incredible & recoil barely noticeable - but I haven't picked a name yet 🤷

I had this whole thing written out yesterday (mostly in the tags) comparing my favorite pretty pretty man in hypmic (and his ride or die partner) with my favorite pretty pretty man in twst (and his ride or die partner) but I don’t see it on my blog and it’s not in my drafts.
Apologies if you see it twice here on Tumblr (I’ve posted less coherent thoughts on other social media platforms).
I ramble more today, so...
Tumblr media
So our pretty liar once again speaks of meeting in a dream. He used this phrase in Once Upon a Time in Shibuya, too.
Tumblr media
But this time, Gentaro uttering the words “meet in a dream” was an absolute gut punch.
He has such a romantic way of speaking - which is very much like Sebek!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Anyway. Gentaro's lyrics.
How am I expected to be normal about this?

In a country divided and confused, it is often considered, adding fuel to the fire to bring up something such as our second amendment rights. There seems to be a huge disconnect between logical thinking and controlled thinking. Logical thinking, reveals that God himself gave man the right to defend himself, his property, and his family. Logical thinking is what occurred when the founding fathers took the principles that God had given man and place them into a document that would hold them as guidelines and God-given rights for our country. The things that are happening in Aurora, Colorado and other places across our country should remind us of the great need for a citizenry bearing arms. Without that we are simply left without recourse in many situations. So logically thinking we do not want to be in a position where our lives, our homes, and our families are left to the whims of our fractured and self-centered government .
Control thinking tells you that guns are the problem. And that the second amendment can be changed to fit what the all knowing government believes. We are limiting free speech to quill pens. We should not be limiting the right to Bear arms to muskets. Sure, I know that we have not yet made that move, but we have systematically been conditioned to believe that automatic, firearms and certain components of other firearms violate the right to bear arms. This didn’t happen in a moment, but rather it happened overtime as the government and the media pull on your heartstrings using our children. The same government, mind you, that allows the slaughter of innocent children in the womb on a daily basis tells us that it is our moral duty to ban firearms in certain capacities and configurations for the sake of our babies. What hypocrisy! What absolute godless brainwash.
As a summarize the thought processes dominate our culture, or the lack there of I should say… Let me remind you that Venezuelan gangs have taken over multiple apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, USA with very little, if any resistance. Law enforcement has done very little. The government has done nothing. Except the state of Colorado has passed some of the most liberal anti-constitutional gun control bills in the country. They have disarmed the populous, the people! You know the ones our founding fathers found it necessary to protect the right to bear arms for. But, of course our weak and brainwash government knows best. Carry On!

Develop a Personal Defense Strategy:
Along with our "normal" crime conditions, politicians increasingly declare 'sanctuary cities', weaken the Criminal Justice System and pass laws, ordinances, regulations, resolutions, policies, or other practices that obstruct immigration enforcement in favor of illegal immigrants. These actions have resulted in higher crime rates and restrictions on Police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). When the hands of the Police are tied, who will protect us? Every morning, I turn on the television to get the news and weather forecast. I don't like hearing the "talking heads" and ridiculous interviews so I, usually, turn off the sound and read the ticker at the bottom of the screen. I always end up asking myself "why do people think they are safe?" The news is filled with tragedy in all forms. When I do listen to details and interviews, I'm amazed how naive people really are about the world around them. They live in environmentally unsafe and crime-ridden places, they visit places where governments have warned against visiting, they intentionally put themselves in risky situations and they are ignorant of what is going on around them. No wonder they become victims. Why, then, should they be shocked when something bad happens? My everyday life defends against events that could negatively impact my life. I have insurance. I reinforce my house with better locks & window/door board-up options. I have alarms, cameras, security lighting & self-protection. And I have backups if first lines of defense fail. Defending ourselves, family & home or business is a right and responsibility. Harden your living/work area. If firearms are included, stockpile ammunition. Consider joining/organizing a Neighborhood Watch group. Monitor, and participate in, government. Be aware of what's going on around you. Get better protected. I agree that we shouldn't stop living but we need to take off the rose-colored-glasses and the headphones and get our noses out of the our smartphones and be more aware of what is going on around us (Situational Awareness). Emergency Responders are "responders" not "preventers". So, stop being shocked and afraid and stop expecting others to keep you safe. Situational awareness and heeding warning signs are key to knowing your surroundings for a better understanding of circumstances and options that can reduce the risk of becoming a victim. It's your responsibility to be safe and no one else's.
Learn How to Stay Alive When You're In the Wrong Place at the Wrong Time and how to escape and evade threats.
Stay informed with the most accurate, truthful information you can find to be prepared for whatever is brewing in your community and the world.
Unchecked, government can turn our quiet, peaceful lives into a living hell. We The People MUST keep an eye on our elected officials. Voting is your voice in government. Vote, intelligently, at every opportunity. Stay informed. Communicate with your government representatives. Don't let them become "career politicians".
An overall defense strategy must include protection from non-persons as well as people. Knowing how, and planning, to defend against germs, virus and bacteria is essential in our everyday surroundings as well as the world where chemical and biological warfare are highly possible.
Know Your Neighborhood and Defend Yourself and Residence Against its Risks. Walk the neighborhood and become familiar with houses, neighbors, streets and their names, escape routes, security shelters, cover and pinch points, fire hydrants and swimming pools (for water sources), locations of emergency shelters, neighbors with items or services to barter with, areas where "undesireables" gather and anything else you can gather from your walk. Buddy-up with neighbors to create a neighborhood watch team.
Put everyday security measures in place (locks, alarms, security cameras, Security Lighting, etc.).
Be Forewarned of intruders on, or near, your property before they enter your home. Use perimeter alarms, guardian/alert animals, security (motion detection) lighting and cameras.
