"We need to stockpile guns in order to fight back against a tyrannical government."
And here we have exactly that. A victim of a tyrannical government uses a gun to fight back against an enforcer of the government's tyranny.
If supporters of the second amendment were logically consistent, they'd be celebrating this and demanding more of this.

You don’t keep your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without a gun backing up your beliefs.

btw luigi mangione is probably legitimately the only American to use the second amendment correctly in a very long time.
the whole point of the second amendment is to give us as working-class Americans the right to fight back against corruption and oppressors. in our constitution we are given the right to fight back against an unjust state, but for some strange reason the politicians that are out there crying, "second amendment rights!", every time children are being shot and killed inside of schools are the same people to demonize working-class Americans who choose to use their second amendment rights to fight against tyranny (think luigi mangione, civil rights movement, etc).
so what is it? do politicians actually care about protecting the second amendment, or do they just care about protecting the billionaires and multi-billion dollar industries that line their pockets and continue to kill their constituents?
tldr; free my man luigi, he didn't do anything wrong, he's just exercising his second amendment rights. people who shoot children in schools are NOT exercising their second amendment rights and are just evil.

Well-regulated is another way of saying background checks and red flag laws.
It's in the Constitution.

America doesn’t simply have a gun problem, it has a problem with gun owners who are just itching for the opportunity to murder. For non-life threatening “crimes” like knocking on doors, accidentally opening the wrong car door, entering the wrong driveway by mistake, and apparently even fishing.
These alleged adults, who are afraid of their own shadow, are desperate to live out their Wild West fantasies. Anything that frightens them, startles them or makes them feel uncomfortable is fair game, as long as they get to tell their stories about how they “bravely” “defended” themselves from an unarmed person in a a non-dangerous situation.
We need to overturn all Stand Your Ground laws and take the Castle doctrine back indoors where it belongs.

Especially in pro-crime states like California.
