3.) What fandoms do you write for? Mainly Pacific Rim but also Sherlock Holmes/Granada Holmes, Ghostbusters, All Creatures Great and Small (the 1978 tv series), and Red Dwarf, etc. etc.

4.) What are your top five fics by kudos? Just a Thought (263), Afterglow (216), Ineffable Husbands: Angsty Fluff prompts (215), Side Effects from the Exposure to a Kaiju Femoral Pore by Dr. Newton Geiszler (feat. Dr. Hermann Gottlieb) (201), and The L Word (174).

5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?! As soon as I can!! I sometimes forget....for like a month or two...oops. But I love getting kind comments on my fic. It's important to acknowledge readers and their efforts to compliment you.

6.) What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? The Ghost of Gottlieb Mansion ...I shan't say.

7.) What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? OMG pretty much of them!! LOL Unhappy endings are for TV shows on HBO.

8.) Do you get hate on fics? I got a super picky review once. It came from a good place but it came across as super arrogant. And another made a good point about my phrasing (which I fixed) but the feedback was highly accusatory.

9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind? So much smut. Some of it is raunchy but most of it vanilla with a lot of hurt/comfort and sappiness. It can be said I enjoy the occasional PWP, usually with feelings.

10.) Do you write cross overs? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I'm not into crossovers much. I did write a Ghostbusters (1984) and Granada Holmes crossover: A Hunting We Will Go which was enjoyed by some.

11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen? Nearly a decade ago now there was a copy-paste kinda website that pulled a lot of fics onto it. I think I filed a complaint. Not sure. Anyhow, I think it's down now.

13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before? Yes, many years ago with a former friend. But I also have great memories of writing RP posts with the Downton Abbey crowd. Good fun!

15.) What’s a WIP you’d like to finish, but doubt you ever will Consolation for a Weary Traveler - Lord of the Rings - the fandom is too intimidating. I posted one chapter and got feedback so quick and I was like nope! people will hate me for writing Elrond smut.

16.) What are your writing strengths? My dialogue is pretty good. I capture characterization and voices fairly well.

17.) What are your writing weaknesses? Long fics. I have the stamina for novels apparently but not long fics.

18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I do occasionally use other languages in fic but I research the crap out of it first.

19.) First fandom you wrote for? Doctor Who! but technically I wrote fiction (a tv script) that was fan fiction adjacent for Honey I Shrunk the Kids, The TV Show. (My writing went so far away from one of the guest characters that it can't be called fan fiction anymore and now it's going to be a novel...whenever I get around to it.)

what’s your OTP for your muse(s)?

Stolitz, obviously. Though I am also biased by saying I will also always readily pursue what I have with Horus & Stolas [ @sxlinvictus is stuck with me forever ].

what are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

As far as tropes go, I am open to most things. I am a slut [ affectionate ] for fluff and domesticity, but angst is also my game! I love friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fake dating, etc. The options are endless!

are you selective when shipping?

I can be. If I can't personally see our muses becoming romantically [ or even just sexually ] inclined, I'll be hesitant and/or let you know it's not going to work out or that I'm not interested. It's nothing personal! I just go based on how my Stolas feels or would approach the matter. On most occasions, I am heavily chemistry based. However, there are some instances where I'd be willing to just jump right into things! Especially if I've had enough interactions with my partners both or either ic or ooc!

Also worth noting — my portrayal will not show interest in women. Sorry, ladies. He will appreciate and compliment them, but there will be zero attraction.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

This is a very good question! I will be honest, I never considered anything outside of Stolitz originally, excluding possibilities with Dae's muses as we discuss them. Mostly because I just wasn't sure where I stood on the matter or how Stolas would respond! But some interactions with others have me thinking. . . Broadening my horizons. . .

I would be open to exploring things with: Better Than Blitzo Guy [ why doesn't he have a fucking name?? ], Lucifer, Angel Dust, Andrealphus, Lucifer [ Netflix and probably to be an Exclusive ], Alucard/Adrian from Castlevania, and others idk I just can't think of it without like, prompting or scenarios. . .

I actively/passively ship my Stolas with Blitzo, Lestat [ @this-savage-garden ] and Walter [ @lapetitemxrt ], and Roy [ @flamesignite ]. But these are exclusive ships! I will not pair him with any other portrayal of these characters.

who is young randal?

As some of you might have noticed, I'm taking liberties with the latest mission board prompt to RP Young Randal, Randal's 20 year old self, in TOA canon (for a bit)!

Due to the fact that he is a character with information scattered across Cipher canon, I wanted to take the time to accumulate some thoughts about him in an easy-to-access place, both to share my love for him and also to make him easier to RP with.

I hope that this is informative and fun to read! I love Young Randal (and of course Old Randal) so much!!!!

so who is this freak you keep yapping about?

Likely due to the fact that they wanted to match up with FE6/FE7, shortly after introducing Randal into Cipher Frontier, we were introduced to his 20 years younger self. A common bit in Cipher Frontier became that whenever Young Randal would show up, characters would mistake him as Randal's son!

In universe, the reason for Young Randal's appearance is his susceptibility to the Boundless Chaos, an energy that seems to enable the Cipher cast's world-hopping adventures. Randal is the only character we see in multiple ages!

Before becoming the mercenary that we see him as nowadays, Randal was a Lord in Lycia who came across his mansion via winning a game (implied to be chess).

After becoming a Lord, he amassed a decent army and seemed to conquer and pillage a decent amount, as evidenced by his cards. He scoffs at honor and his cards are titled things like Dishonorable Invincible Knight, Twin Blades of Evil, and Wicked Knight.

The pride of a knight… How I despise those words. Victory is all that matters.

He is also, plainly, an ass. While Old Randal likes buttering people up, buying them gifts and showering them with compliments, Young Randal is quick to let minor annoyances show.

While Older Randal is a carefree and generally good-mannered person who likes to have fun (even if he is a bit of a dastard who doesn't care awfully much for doing good), Young Randal is incredibly stringent. He does not leave things up to chance. He is smart, annoying, and likes to be on top of things.

One of the coolest contrasts between Old Randal and Young Randal is that while Old Randal's favorite choice of games seems to be card games and dice, AKA the usual sorts of gambling games, Young Randal likes games where as little chance is involved as possible. As mentioned before, Young Randal won his mansion via a game of chess! While it certainly was a risky bet to play a game for a mansion, it was one where only skill was a factor.

I think Young Randal is also interesting to see when informed by Old Randal's opinions on life, and vice versa. Namely: that Old Randal is a person who doesn't like trouble, and despite turning his nose at helping others, still feels bad when other people get hurt.

Despite being someone that Young Randal seems like he'd hate, Young Randal is actually quite insistent on the fact that he is the very same Randal that we meet in Cipher.

Conversely, Old Randal is someone who seems to hide that Young Randal is someone he ever was:

Even though Old Randal is someone who is extremely chill about himself and oftentimes makes somewhat demeaning jokes, he'd clearly much rather pretend his younger self doesn't exist until he can't help it. In fact, when he is finally faced with his younger self, he has only bad things to say:

In summary:

Young Randal was a Lord who won his way into power via a chess match.

He is an ass.

Young Randal is an incredibly calculating person who cares incredibly about his appearances.

He's quite good at manipulating and deceiving people, and sees other people as pawns to be used.

Despite this, he's also somewhat insecure, and gets easily flustered when people don't take him as seriously as he'd like to be seen.

Even though, logically, Old Randal is the sort of person that is his greatest nightmare to become, he seems to hold some sort of respect for Old Randal.

At some point, due to unknown reasons, Young Randal lost his mansion and became a mercenary.

Okay now slight headcanon time:

I believe that Young Randal was someone who wanted to be respected (perhaps even loved.. flushed emoji...) but did not know how to achieve this outside of yearning for power. Once he finally acquired it, he found himself in an awkward position where he didn't actually know how to be a Lord, as whatever his background before being a Lord was, I doubt it was one of fame or fortune.

He became a real 'fake it till you make it' sort of person, holding an obsessive control over other people and his station to ensure he didn't lose it. I think due to being unfamiliar with the life of a Lord, he was incredibly paranoid and didn't have many friends.

In Cipher Frontier, he fights tooth and nail to try and harness the powers of Boundless Chaos to see the Cipher cast one last time before peaceing out.

I think he wants friends... but as a Lord in a hostile environment (and because he is an ass) he does not have a way of acquiring them easily.

I like to think he lost his mansion and status due to falling prey to the Boundless Chaos, which shoveled him into some unknown world and land without everything he had fought for.

So those are some (brief) thoughts on Young Randal! I honestly have more and I really really like the contrast between Old and Young Randal but I'll keep those in my pocket for now so as to not be too overwhelming...

I hope that you might consider RPing with him during this month while we have the chance to :] While I've only been here again for a brief time and thus most characters have not met even Old Randal yet, I think meeting him as Young Randal can create some interesting problems for Old Randal when he comes about.

none of it is published, but i do sometimes! it's a good way to flex my muscles (haha) in blending thought and action, balancing descriptors (how vivid is Too Much), and seeing how certain characters interact with each other in a vulnerable state. maybe i'll post some someday, idk. mostly i just do it for funsies, so idk what kind you'd classify any of mine.

i hate to say it, but An Inner Sanctity needs a major overhaul that i don't have the energy for right now. when i started writing that fic, i didn't have a solid grasp on athenath's personality. now that i do, i'm gonna need to rewrite all the chapters i've had ready for it, and pivot the direction of the fic to get it where i wanted it to wind up eventually. i really do want to finish it, though.

16. What are your writing strengths?

i get a lot of compliments on my imagery/descriptions/atmosphere! i love describing shit, so i'm glad ppl enjoy reading those bits of my work <3 oh!! and character/narrative details. i wrote a ~180k word fic in my senior year of high school solely off my mental notes for it, and it still wasnt finished when i dropped it a year or so later due to Circumstances

biting off WAAAAAAAY more than i can chew!! i have so, so many things planned for CotS and who knows if those things will get picked up on by folks or even work later down the line. GAHH

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

if you can realistically do it, go for it. if i could fluently speak all the languages i've tried to teach myself, i'd probably include them in fics where they would fit!

naruto, i was writing naruto fics on a defunct dress-up site when i was a kid AHAH.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Cycle of the Serpent. theres seldom a time i'm not thinking about those elves. yes, i will admit with my whole chest that i'm a tad desperate for people to read it and interact with it, but i think if i could explain everything (without spoiling it obviously) i have planned for this fic and just how much is going on in the background of the details i throw in, the reasons certain characters behave the way they do, and the amount of time i've spent working on it (the doc for it is at roughly ~96k and we're not even at the Real beginning of the solitude arc) and the sheer amount of hours i've spent making sure details line up, you'd understand why i'm losing all my sanity daniel-amnesia-the-dark-descent style over this story. i started writing it as a for fun "no one's ever gonna see this" exercise that also helped me greatly in recovering from long covid brainfog, and i think even if one day i look back and think of it as "not the best thing i've ever written", it'll still be one of the most passion-driven things i've ever written, and i'm happy about that. <3

I hate how whispers work sometimes. But it's true, and the highest compliment a void elf can give *hiss* the Light.

Any time I say that Elu hates paladins, at least five friends who main paladins are like 😤. So, for the record, this is ICly.

The lore began as a joke in BfA when HMP's would whisper me in Boralus: Something something beautiful Void elf. Not mog, strangely enough. Just, elf. It didn't seem like walk-up rp, but maybe it was?

My response was sometimes, "Thanks bro!" but usually, no response at all. But it was a notable number of whispers, enough to prompt me to ask the few roleplayers in my heroic raiding guild if this was some sort of thing.

To be honest, I had no idea. At that point, I'd only rp'd maybe a handful of times in-game. Shout out to the lady Dwarf from the Salty Sea Doggos, who saw my struggle at an event and, IC, kindly suggested that surely Elu wasn’t part of that nasty Twilight’s Hammer business. Naturally, I looked it up right away and nearly died from heart eyes.

But, at the time, I don't even think I had a proper TRP. I was just AFK'ing with the Ethereal vendors thinking about how I had to respec for raid or m+, yet again. And this was all on Alliance WrA, which seems all the more bizarre in retrospect.

And this is how cringe became legend. It was the first bit of lore for her that I felt I could get on board with. It just stuck. And truly, it shows how little it took to encourage a whole mess of OC lore and writing.

First of all, I want to say thank you for the compliment! I'm glad that everyone seems to be enjoying my crossover ideas for the most part.

But yes! Yes I do have more. And while I don't have a model, I do have a bit of a list.

Let's start off with the one's I've been writing about!

Steven Universe x Dc

Now, of course Dpxdc is the most popular and well known out of these because that's what I write the most, but I think that they work all well.

Let's start with Dp as a whole. Not only does Danny have access to all this advanced technology, human and supernatural alike, he's also powerful himself. And that fact that something so powerful was happening in pretty much a ghost town-heh- with no outside interference other than the GIW could lead to a lot. And the fact that it's canon that the portals in the ghost world that takes them to different points in time and possibly universes, there is a lot that could be worked with here.

And Steven Universe is almost the same. All this gem technology and the powers of gems themselves is something frightening since we've seen so many gems and only know what a good quarter of them could do. Plus tell me that Beach City wouldn't be crowded with heroes or spies if it wasn't in the Marvel or DC verse.

Same with a lot of these fandoms when it comes to crossovers. Either they somehow manage to live peacefully in the same universe without making each other aware of the others presence until a certain even caused them to interact, or one of the universes has magic or technology strong enough to send a person or people hurling to a completely different universe.

But enough about that! Let's go on to my list! Some of these crossovers may or may not have been done in either forms of prompts or fanfiction, or they're just rp ideas I had in the past, so be aware that none of these are completely original (at least I think so) .

I'm separating it like this because this is a long list. Be warned.

Overlord x Slime: Because Isekai Quartet did us wrong for not having Rimuru in the series. I think this would fit mostly because having two monster leaders who were from Japan would get along nicely. Although Rimuru is more laidback than Ainz. Both leaders are strong and care deeply about those who work under them while striving to create a better home for them.

Danny Phantom x The Walking Dead: Honestly I don't think I've seen this around, at least nothing recent. But I like this one because I gotta know: would the walkers just walk right passed Danny? Would any or all liminals be free from being chased by walkers? If so, would Amity park even change much if they were?

Dp x Avatar: The Last Airbender: I like this one because I based it around the previous Avatars and the Avatar state. I picture it being this giant part of the Infinite Realms that

Lego Monkie Kid x Xiaolin Showdown: I honestly just think that this would fit somehow. With all of the spirits and beings that are in the XS universe, I think that this would fit! Maybe because of the monkey staff? Probably.

Kingsman x Dc/Marvel: With all the secret agencies and facilities having around the world, I would not doubt if something like the Kingsman or Statemen existing in either world.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid x Harry Potter: I want one of the dragons to be mistaken as a dragon in the magical world and becomes one of the dragons the champions have to face in the tr-wizard tournament.

Bofuri! x Overlord: I think Ainz would be surprised to see another gamer. And with someone like Maple and her never ending arsenal, she'd definitely surprise him.

Dragon Raja x Genshin Impact: Mostly the dragon thing, but I think it'd be interesting to see altogether.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid x Genshin Impact: I like to think that the world the dragons from the show come from are the Genshin Universe. If not, then it would be one of the worlds they have access to.

DC x Percy Jackson: Someone please let Diana teach the little babies how to fight! They need it!

Sailor Moon x Miraculous Ladybug!: Girl power! The heroes of Japan and France getting along. Plus do you think the Kwami's would be aware about the moon kingdom?

Bayverse, but years later. The turtles are now a Spec Ops unit of the NYPD. They are in they early 40’s and late 30’s. Mutants are more common but tend to keep a very low profile.

2. Introduce us to your OTP.

Immogene (pronounced Imogen) or Gen Waters - She is 42 years old (in this universe), although her age varies depending on the RP or story I have her in. 5’11” and curvy (Ashley Graham is who I use for her body type). Long wavy curly red mahogany hair, tattoos that cover more than half of the left hand side of her body disguise the scarring she has. Her eyes are emerald green and she has fair skin. Within her genes is the blood of an ancient race, known as the Amazons.

Immogene is known for her wit and sometimes sharp tongue. Her skill with a bow and arrow is unparalleled. She is an artist and likes to work on her motorcycle. Kind and softhearted, though she guards her heart fiercely, Immogene has few that are close. Her personality is a mix of class and sass. Some nick names that she’s earned over the years (from various Raphael’s) are: Firecracker, Tiger, Princess (Raphael is the only one to call her that), Iron Butterfly and Candy Apple Vixen. She can be fierce when pushed or when needed. She’s not necessarily empathetic but she picks up on feelings easily. Immogene is often referred to as a badass, feisty and a sweetheart.

*Side Note - I have been often asked if I created an OC that would match Raphael. This question, rather than irritate me, makes me smile. Immogene is me, with very few differences. I choose to have her as an OC to keep my fantasies separate from my reality. In truth, when I first wrote my story, I was attracted to both Leo’s and Raph’s personalities. But, the more I played with them, the more I started leaning towards Raphael. I’ve RP’d with many ‘Raph’s’ over the years and I honestly feel the greatest connection with the Brute. So, rather than me ‘creating’ someone for him, he is actually…the perfect match for me (I’d like to add I support all ships). When this question pops up…I honestly take it as the highest compliment.

Raphael Hamato - He is 40 years old. 6’9, extremely muscular and large with it. His left arm is covered in a sleeve which depicts traditional Japanese imagery. Although he still has his famous temper, he’s learned to use it and fine tuned himself. Raphael is the rogue of the four. He occasionally takes missions with his brothers, but often seeks the ones that no one else wants to do. His brothers never know when he’ll show up for family dinners. He was the last of his brothers to take a mate.

3. How did they meet?

Oruko Saki in this universe is a billionaire tycoon. His alter ego (The Shredder), reigns in terror over the citizens of NYC. He is a collector of fine arts and priceless artifacts.

Seeing the art of Immogene Waters, he decided he had to have it…and the artist herself. Saki arranged to be an anonymous benefactor of her art to get her to NYC.

On the night of the attempted kidnapping Raphael happened to be in the neighbourhood and rescued her. At the time he had been impressed with the fight the woman had put up against the fiend. Although, she hadn’t left the scene unscathed.

Raphael made the decision to bring her back to the ‘lair’, which was now an entire apartment building complex where all the brothers lived. His decision had surprised everyone, including himself. There was something about those green eyes of hers.

Of course, the first time she saw him she startled, but reasoning took over and she realized this behemoth had rescued her.

Through happenstance and an unusual like for each others company, they got to know each other. Raphael discovered she somehow had a calming influence on him. All she had to do was walk into the room and his shoulders would visibly relax. She also had a tendency to challenge him with that tongue of hers. There was also the no end to his amusement with how she stood up to him.

Immogene found someone who accepted her. Who naturally understood her. His actions speaking louder than words. Underneath this brutish figure was a large heart. She, bit by bit softened towards him, letting him past the protection she had around her heart.

4. How is the relationship now?

Immogene and Raphael have an unbreakable bond. They banter together and get so much enjoyment out of it. She’s soft where he’s hard. They have similar dispositions but in ways that balance each other. Nothing soothes him like the way she says his name or when she caresses his jaw.

She’s never felt as safe as she does in his arms. A look from across the room between them speaks volumes. Raphael has always teetered on the edge of going one step too far. It’s what makes him so effective. Immogene keeps him on the side of good. With him, she has found her home. He his her home for a piece of her heart lives within his and vice versa for him. It’s the reason why I chose the image I did. Water and fire. When they meet it’s a blending of the two elements, unless it’s in the bedroom. Then the reaction more…explosive.

6. Do they get married or have any kids?

For the first part of the question, yes, they do eventually get married. It’s a private ceremony between the two of them. For the second part, I will say no, but will not reveal the reason why. There is the chance that this answer could come out in an RP I have, and I’m saving it for that.

7. What is your favorite thing about this pairing? Gush as much as you want!!!

Oh boy. Gushing. Here it comes. I love every single damn thing about this pairing. The way they fit together, the love they have for each other. How they crave each others touch. The way each says the others name. The passion they share. Good grief. *fans self*

The way they tease each other *grins*. They both get so much enjoyment out of it. In a way…it’s a subtle, or not so subtle (depending on who else is in the room), of flirting or even foreplay.

The both of them are unabashedly themselves, with each other they’ve found that one that gets and accepts them exactly the way they are. To this day, it still surprises Raphael that no matter what level of rage he’s in, a look, a touch or her even just softly saying his name can remove that red haze.

Raphael removed the shadows from her eyes. And the thing was, he did without really trying. He was being himself. It just happened to be everything she needed, Brute and all.

Raphael and Immogene. Two souls collided and did not become one, but a blend of the two. Although they are separate…it can be seen that they are intertwined so thoroughly, it would be impossible to untangle them.
