Gobtober 31: Commoner
One of the many goblins that hasn't picked what vocation she'd like to have. Might she take up an apprenticeship? Or maybe she'll be the next great adventurer! The world is a big place, ready to be full of goblins!

Person A is a commoner locked in a tower. Who has no hope they will ever be rescued because they don't have the land, money, or status to be worth rescuing.
Person B is one of the few truly good knights who applies the code of chivalry to more than just the nobility.

☁️Ouran Highschool Host Club: Haruhi x Commoner reader headcannons☁️
Her first thought is, "Finally, someone who is actually kind of normal!"
Shes actually so glad someone can understand her struggles, especially when it comes to the host clubs eccentricities...
She doesn't push you to visit her in the host club, but if you want to visit she'll give you a discount. (Don't tell Kyoya)
Haruhi avoids the host club like the plague when shes with you.
She just knows they'll say something stupid that will drive you away from her, and she likes you too much for them to do that.
Really, the only host club member that she's okay with barging into your dates is Mori-
You guys go on a lot of picnic dates, or just other simple dates where you can just talk to eachother and enjoy the others company.
She definitely trusts you a lot, and you were to quick to know that she was actually a girl when you first met.
Tamaki is actually so jealous of you.
Kyoya's tired of his whining.
Her favorite gift to give you are red roses, she thinks they are romantic. She also just loves when she comes over and sees them still being taken care of, she likes to know you're thinking about her. :))
Haruhi thought about you the whole time during the dance, she wished it was you she was picked to dance with. :(

Conscript - CR 1/4 Commoner
Armor is too expensive for these troops. If you want them to last longer, just conscript more of them.
Artwork by mannequin-atelier on DeviantArt.
In much of the middle ages, an army's composition heavily relied on untrained soldiers, recruited from the normal commoners in nearby towns. These men were often armed with only the weapons and armor they brought from home, or possibly with a simple helmet or wooden shield. The weapon of choice for such conscripts across most of history and most of the world was polearms, due to their ease of use, superior reach, and cheap manufacturing compared to a mostly-metal weapon like a sword.
I was pretty surprised that I couldn't find a stat block for a level 1 commoner in the NPC Codex or any other official Pazio book that fit this kind of idea. The basic CR 1/3 foot soldier from the Gamemastery Guide is a warrior, not a commoner, and has chainmail, three backup weapons, and a healing potion. There are some other level 1 commoners, but they have improvised weapons, aren't human, or are otherwise not really appropriate for a conscript. This stat block should better represent a soldier that was literally just grabbed off the farm and handed a spear and told to fight.
The longspear in its stat block has the broken condition, but it's not literally broken; it's just such bad quality that it functions as a broken weapon.
These might be appropriate enemies for a level 1 party to fight, but mostly I personally use them as friendly NPC soldiers when the players are elite special forces working with the military. You can have a unit of thirty conscripts like this, and a group of level 3 or 4 PCs will still be the heroes who have to actually do everything, without it feeling like they're literally fighting a whole war by themselves.
If you need a lot of them for a big battle, see the conscript troop stat block.

Soloing fostering a commoner/clash community in my LGS.
Getting them on board with making the Flesh and Blood night some kind of actual tournament instead of a few dudes just chilling playing cards. This one is already working.
Making commoner or clash happen? Not as tournament formats yet. As above, It's something I plan on fostering with or without top down support.
Also, if you've never heard of clash yet.
There ya go.

for a request: imagine that princess!narcissa & commoner!reader had a baby in secret. how they go about the situation is up to you :)
Oh my god- What- princess narcissa- why haven’t that crossed my mind? A/n: sorry but since it is a princess thingy, reader takes the baby as hers, only because of that she's taking care of her. No magic:)
characters: princess!Narcissa x commoner!reader
rundown: Narcissa has a baby but her and Y/n they have to keep it as a secret, even if she isn’t Y/n’s. The reader is taking care of the baby as a commoner whenever she can. But what would happen if the king and the queen find out?
warnings: gxg, pregnancy, lesbian, angst, fluff (kind of), surprise!pregnancy, etc.
request status: Saturday requests<3
“She is hungry,” you said as you walked inside of Narcissa’s room and saw her reading a book. As soon as she heard you, she put it down and looked straight into your face. You just nodded your head to let Narcissa know about that you were really serious and you stepped away from the doors through which she wanted to walk out.
You led the princess into the room where her daughter was. Well she was yours as well, since you had been there when she was born and you have been taking care of the baby since she was born. Narcissa couldn't do that. And the reason why was easy to tell. Her parents had no idea abort that she was pregnant.
As the doors closed behind both of you, you walked over to the little bed where the little girl was and carefully lifted the crying baby up. When you looked at Narcissa, she was watching you and her baby, not moving at all. You pressed her closer to your chest so she could feel your boobs what might have calmed her. When the crying didn't stop, you looked over at already undressing Narcissa.
“Shh, your mum is here,” you whispered to the little girl and when her mother sat onto the corner of the bed, she freed her breast. With a little nod of her head she let you know about that she was ready and you handed her her own daughter really carefully. When the little girl started sucking on the princess’s breast, you decided to give them both some privacy. You prepared a napkin for the baby and then you walked to the doors without saying a word.
As you really softly closed the doors behind yourself, you took a proper deep breath. Decided not to walk away but stay at the doors until the baby wasn't fed, you looked around in the corridor. There was literally noone you had to watch out for. Decided to stay, you just leant against the wall next to the doors of the room the princess was in and looked around once more. There was noone.
Listening to what was happening inside of the room, you wanted to make sure everything was alright. When you heard the princess humming some melody, you smiled even if you didn't want to. She loved her little girl and you knew that she did so. Leaning against the wall you were listening to the song, finding yourself smiling for no reason from time to time. But then you became serious when you heard your name from the other side of the doors. That was a sign she needed help. Or they both did.
While you grabbed the door knob, you started thinking about how hard it had to be for the princess to deliver her baby without her parents knowing and having only you and a witch from the village near to the castle by her side for the whole time.
As you opened the doors, you found Narcissa struggling with breastfeeding her daughter. She seemed to be tensed and the baby kept pulling away from her nipple.
“Do you need some help Princess?”
“Please- I don’t know what to do,” she admitted and you nodded your head, kneeling in front of the princess. You reached your hands out for the baby and when Narcissa gave her to you, you took a deep breath.
“Now try to calm down. You will need to be calm so the baby doesn’t feel the tension,” you said and Narcissa nodded her head. When you saw that she was calm, you smiled a little. “Now put your hands into a position I taught you,” you said and watched the Princess put her hands into that position. You just smiled and then you got closer to her. “I will give her to you now. You will let her find you your breast and then she’ll eat,” you said and really carefully handed out Narcissa’s daughter to her.
The little baby did as you told Narcissa. She immediately found Narcissa’s nipple tand started sucking on it with her eyes closed. You breathed out and were ready to leave but then you realized it might have been better if you stayed with her at that moment. After all, Narcissa didn’t get so much practice.
Narcissa kept watching the little baby and you sat down into the armchair opposite to them. Making sure she was doing everything alright, you looked at her from time to time so she couldn’t say that you weren’t paying attention to them. When Narcissa started to feel okay with breastfeeding, you saw how she finally rested herself and you had to smile. She seemed to finally enjoy it. If it was enjoyable.
“Thank you so much Y/n,” the Princess thanked you and you gifted her with a warm smile covering your lips. You didn’t tell her anything, you just kept watching the woman who was doing everything alright at that moment. “How do you know so much about this? You are a year younger than me,” Narcissa stated and you took a deeper breath. You didn’t know if you should tell her or not.
“My mother, when she was still alive, she used to help deliver babies. And sometimes I went with her,” you explained simply and Narcissa just nodded her head. Then she looked down at the baby and she seemed to not even think about that your mother and you have been doing something what was forbidden.
As you were watching them both together, you realized something in Narcissa’s eyes. Her eyes were filled with love, she was watching her baby with all the love she had for her. You could almost see how Narcissa was melting as she looked into the little girls face. When some sound came to you both from the corridor, Narcissa’s eyes wide opened. They filled with fear and you saw that really clearly. As she looked at the doors, your heartbeat sped up a little.
“I will take it,” you said even if you didn't know who was that. You walked over to the doors and looked back at Narcissa over your shoulder, making sure no one would see the princess. When you couldn't see her, you placed your hand onto the door knob and took a deep breath.
As you opened the doors and saw the king and the queen standing in them, you took an even deeper breath ready to lie for Narcissa and her baby she was taking care of at the moment.
“Can I help you your Majesty?” you asked them calmly, hoping in that they didn't come here because they were aware of what happened.
“We would like to talk to the Princess. Where is she?” the king asked and you took a deep breath ready to lie for her and the baby.
“She is taking a bath at the moment. I will tell her you want to take to her and send her to find you as soon as possible," you promised to her parents and they both nodded their heads. You bowed deeply and waited for them to leave from the doors you have been hiding the Princess and her child in. You watched them leave to make sure it was safe to return back inside to her and the baby. When they disappeared on the staircase, you turned into the room and closed the doors behind yourself.
“Princess, your parents want to talk to you. I told them you are taking a bath. Maybe you should change your clothes and go and talk to them." You informed the princess when her baby was fed and relieved. She was walking with her baby in the room, trying to make her fall asleep. Her eyes landed in yours and you waited for her decision.
“Can you take care of her while I will be gone?" she asked you while tapping her daughter's back. You nodded your head and walked closer to her, to take her little baby. She let go of her and immediately walked to her wardrobe to take out new clothes.
You were not watching the Princess while she was changing, your eyes were on her baby who was falling asleep in your arms. When you heard her pulling up the zipper on the back of her dress, you looked up at her just in case she needed some help.
“Will you stay with her until I am not back?” Narcissa asked from you and you simply nodded your head.
“I will,” you promised, making Narcissa look down at her baby in your arms and take a deep breath.
“What if they found out?” Narcissa asked you and she walked closer to you both, brushing her daughter’s cheek. “What if they know?”
“I am sure they don’t. The King and the Queen seemed too calm when they came here. They don’t know about her,” you said in lower tone when you realized that the little baby was already asleep.
“I hope you’re right,” Narcissa breathed out and then she took another deep breath. “I will be back soon. Okay?” She walked over to you and then her eyes fell onto her daughter. She softly brushed her cheek and you watched her exhale loudly. A soft kiss landed on the little forehead of her daughter and then she walked over to the doors. She gave you and the little girl a last look and then she opened the doors, disappearing in the corridor behind them.
You looked down at the little girl you were holding in your arms. You tried to not think about what would happen if they knew about the baby. As Narcissa left and you were all alone with her baby, you calmed yourself down with a quiet exhale. Moving her a little, you hoped she wouldn't start crying. You kept smiling down at her, but you couldn't get rid of the thought now would the queen and the king react if they would know.
Taking care of the baby, you spent the rest of the time in the princess’s dorm. You kept sitting with the baby, then you pressed her against your chest and walked with her in the room you were in. Later, you opened the window to get as much air for her as it was possible.
You loved that little human as if she was yours. And you didn’t realize Narcissa standing in the doors of the room. She had teary eyes, but she was watching both of you just being in the room.
She knew that her girl was safe with you. If her daughter wasn’t safe with her grandparents, she would always be safe with the commoner.
And she also knew that you would do anything to protect the little girl. You have already had the bound.

First Gen
I fucking hate being a first gen student. I have literally met no one else in any of my classes who is a first generational student. It sucks because none of them know what it’s like. I don’t live an academic life, I’m not an intellectual and they are always shocked to find that I have nothing in common with them, I have no will power to be like them. I never had a proper schedule as a kid, no journal, no academic interests, I didn’t have any musical instruments and I wasn’t reading as much as I should. I’m from an uneducated background, like a family of high school drop outs, and so I’m constantly under pressure to compete with these nerds while being incredibly lonely around my Neanderthal family

Arsonist - CR2 Commoner
Burn, burn!
Artwork by joelhustak on DeviantArt, official art for LevynLight, copyright HitGrab Inc.
An arsonist spreads as much oil as possible around the room before its enemies arrive, then lights the entire room up at once when a threat shows up. Lamp oil burns for 6 hours in a lamp but only burns for 2 rounds on the ground (which is incredibly stupid and nonsensical), so don’t use it all before the fight. There won’t be any left to ignite the enemy’s weapons and armor.
I honestly think most of its Drench In Oil special ability is just something that you oil should be able to do with lamp oil by default, except for the part about the object taking full damage from fire. But this is Pathfinder 1e where you need 3 feats and a class feature to blow your nose, so I went ahead and gave this commoner a special ability to apply oil to an attended object and described exactly what happens for you.
XP 600 Human Commoner 4 CE Medium humanoid (human) Init +2 Senses Perception +3
DEFENSE
AC 12, touch 12, flat-footed 10 (+2 Dex) hp 22 (4d6+8) Fort +3, Ref +3, Will +0
OFFENSE
Speed 30 ft. Melee torch +2 (1d6 plus 1 fire) Ranged alchemist’s fire or flask of lamp oil +4 touch (1d6 fire plus 1 splash damage plus splash weapon mastery) (20 ft. increment)
STATISTICS
Str 11, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 12, Wis 9, Cha 7 Base Atk +2; CMB +2 (+4 sunder); CMD 14 (16 vs. sunder) Feats Improved Sunder, Splash Weapon Mastery, Torch Fighter Skills Acrobatics +4, Craft (alchemy) +8, Knowledge (engineering, local) +3, Perception +3, Profession (any) +3, Stealth +4, Swim +5 Languages Common, Goblin Gear alchemist’s fire x3, kerosene x2, flask of lamp oil x15, torch x5, 10 gp
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Drench in Oil (Ex) As a full-round action, an arsonist can pull out a flask of lamp oil and coat an adjacent object with it. If the object is being carried or wielded by a creature, the arsonist must make a combat maneuver check as if performing a Sunder maneuver.
Until the oil is removed, the object takes full damage from fire damage, instead of taking half damage as normal for energy attacks.
Additionally, an object coated in lamp oil in this way takes an additional 1d3 damage from the next attack that deals fire damage, and catches on fire from that attack, taking 1d3 fire damage each round at the start of the arsonist’s turn for 2 rounds, at which point the oil burns out. A creature can make a DC 15 Reflex save as a full-round action to put out a fire affecting its equipment or an object within its reach, and can gain a +2 bonus on this check by rolling on the ground if its own equipment is on fire. A burning object is automatically extinguished if submerged in water.
Oil Mastery (Ex) When an arsonist uses a flask of lamp oil as a splash weapon, it has a 100% chance of igniting instead of 50%. All of an arsonist’s flasks of lamp oil have already been prepared with fuses, and do not require a full-round action to use as splash weapons.
