Do You Pay Attention to God’s Boundaries?
By Adrian Rogers “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7 If I said to you, “Walk in this building,” where are you to walk? In this building. The parameters of this building are to contain your walk. This building would be the…

God's weapon against the flesh
God’s weapon against the flesh
Every day I struggle against my own flesh, my own mind, and my own will. Sometimes I lose against these things that are trying to force their way to the surface. Every time I lose a battle, I’m always reminded that God isn’t finished with me yet and that I’m forgiven. I’m not forgiven just for the sake of it, though, but because I have a repentant heart. sometimes my pride and ego stand in the…

hi lovely!! how are you?? so I have a question
1- how should a woman act/behave according to the Bible? is there any part that talks about this? I only see people talking about proverbs 31
2- we know how women should behave in a marriage but what about men?
3- do you have any tips to be more conected with god and with yourself??
thanks for answering this!! I hope you have a god day 💜
hi love!! i’m doing well <3
i tend to focus on these main attributes of femininity and i find they come naturally to me so i try to embrace them instead of trying to force myself into what i feel like i need to be as a woman nowadays, which is brash, outspoken, “strong” in a certain way, etc.
modesty- I dress modestly.
"I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety…” (1 Timothy 2:9-10)
kindness- I focus on being kind.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." (1 Corinthians 13:4)
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)
chastity- I try my best to avoid all sexual immorality and lust.
purity is a beautiful trait of femininity. to all girls reading this: you don’t need to lose your virginity. you’re not behind and you don’t need to do anything like that to be cool or experienced. your innocence should be protected, it doesn’t need to be taken away. those tv shows, singers, and movies are lying to you. promiscuity is not cool.
"It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God." (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)
"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
2. what i've found is that there are creepy disingenuous men in the traditional space on Tumblr. that does not negate how beautiful Christ-centered traditional masculinity & relationships really are <3
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." (Ephesians 5:25)
"Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them." (Colossians 3:19)
"Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers." (1 Peter 3:7)
3. here's some things that have helped me feel connected to God:
there’s this really helpful meditation that has helped me a lot in connecting with Jesus:
youtube
and these old fashioned Christmas songs with beautiful lyrics about Jesus' birth and really calming melodies. it helps me feel closer to Christ than ever.
making art about Jesus, singing about Him, making collages.
praying to Him and asking Him for help in being closer to Him.
keep asking questions and talking to other people about Christ, because I find that connection and honesty has helped my faith and connection with God so much.
i don’t always feel close to God. but just because i don’t feel close to Him doesn’t mean He’s not there. <3

Mormon thoughts on circumcision?
Many Latter-day Saints are circumcised because it is a social norm in the United States, but it is not medically necessary or even recommended, it is merely a social tradition.
The Book of Mormon specifically states that the law of circumcision "is done away" in Christ (Moroni 8:8).
The Doctrine & Covenants explains that in the early church (meaning the time of the apostles Paul, Peter, and so on) there was "contention" over the practice of circumcision, and it was done away with so that people knew to put their faith in Christ and not in the Law of Moses (D&C 74:2-7).
In the Bible, the Apostles and Elders at the Council of Jerusalem decided to stop circumcision as a requirement for Gentile converts to Christianity (Acts 15:1–35).
Some other New Testament passages that say circumcision is no longer required include: Galatians 2:1–3; 5:1–11; 6:11–16 1 Corinthians 7:17–20 Colossians 2:8–12 Philippians 3:1–3
There is no religious reason for Mormons to be circumcised.

The Light of the Gospel
1 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. — 2 Corinthians 4 | New International Version (NIV) Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide. THOUGHTS:
======================
We don’t always see the change because we are too busy focusing and growing; I can remember when I realized I needed to change, and I thought to myself, it's no way I could do this, and the Holy Spirit told me You're not doing everything on your own you're doing it through me. I can say it was tough. I cried so many nights and days because of the way I wanted to react, but I couldn’t; even though the deepest part of me wanted to, I couldn’t. I knew that, to change, I had to start with myself.
Does your change start with you? Do you realize that God is making significant steps in our smallest stages? Do you realize that God is lifting the fog in our confused moments? A lot of times, we are in a fog, but God is allowing us to see still because we are walking with him; a lot of us are allowing people into our lives that can stop our process, and we have people in our lives that is blocking our growing season some of you are in a season and don’t even understand what's happening because you are not allowing God to help you.
Colossians 2:7: Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness
We must be deeply rooted in God and allow him to grow us; we often don’t grow because we aren’t allowing God to grow us; we are letting our situations grow through us. We are allowing our stress to grow through us. We are letting everything grow through us, but the Lord and the Lord want us to know to grow deeper, we must be able to let go of our problems, and as we grow, our faith grows deeper as well. Sometimes, our faith is weak because we don’t see anything; it says in the Word that our faith, without good works, is dead.
1 Peter 2:1-3 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk so that you may grow up in your salvation now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
To grow, we must get rid of malice and hypocrisy, and even these things cannot grow with us, so to grow, we must let go of the way we are feeling; that’s of the flesh. I know it's easier to keep it and to hold on to it , but to grow, we must let go.
As I grew in God, I realized I was holding on to bitterness and anger, but I could see the anger and bitterness go away as I grew but , and what I had to do was I had to grow deeper in God so he could show me the whole picture but what he let know was he’s been trying to show me but I couldn’t see because of the pain that I was carrying , I was letting it be bigger then Him and we can’t live that way and try to grow in God we can’t allow our trauma and hurt grow bigger then God , theses kind of actions only stunt our growth, what is your heart and mind holding on too?
Philippians 1:6 is confident that he who began good work in you will continue to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
When God starts this growing season, he will finish what he started. A lot of us don’t finish what we started. I can look around and see the many projects I had and couldn’t finish, but when God starts with us, he has the ability to finish it.
So, how do we grow deeper in God? We read more, we spend more time soaking into his presence, we spend more time meditating periodically, and we have seasons in our life where we don’t feel like doing anything, we don’t feel like reading, but we must understand to grow in God we must sacrifice our time we must be willing to go deeper. As we go deeper, we learn more about him.
Colossians 1:10: To walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
We can't bear good fruit if we aren’t walking in a manner worthy of God. If we are living any kind of way and, not watching our speech and not trying to live according to His Word, we won’t grow. Still, every day, it’s about trying to strive for perfection and becoming better through his strength; when we start, yes, it will be hard because it’s uncomfortable. Still, as we grow and become sanctified, we realize it’s not only about denying ourselves but ALSO ABOUT allowing Him to strengthen us for true change.
*** Today, we learned growing is hard; we learned that we can’t do it in our strength, and every day becomes better because we are allowing him to show us how to walk in a way worthy of him.
Proverbs 1:5 Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance
We can only hear his voice when we listen; when we do, we will learn more. Still, when we understand we can be guided more occasionally, we will find ourselves where we don’t want to be guided because we feel our way is better. It’s not if we call ourselves children of God; we must allow him to lead us down the right path; it says it in the word, “he leads me by the still waters; he restores my soul,” and this only can be done when he is guiding us, and we are LETTING HIM. Growing doesn’t start until we allow him to change everything and not just some things. If you feel this is you, that you have a problem with allowing him to be your shepherd, tell him how you are feeling and what is happening, and he will show you how to let go of control and allow him in. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
=====================
Heavenly Father, I thank you for everything. We ask you to help us grow more in our Word and help us grow more in our attitude in certain situations; Father, speak life to us right now and pour out a fresh anointing unto us. Lord, we thank you for being our God and ask you to be our shepherd. Lord, we give you every issue, we give you every uncertainty, and we ask you to fix us and not only that but cleanse our hearts with hyssop, in Jesus' Name, Amen

Jesus was subjected to the punishment, the wrath of God, for OUR sins By Greg Holt “1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the…

Daily Growing in the Lord Our God
He who made us and redeemed us with His precious blood, desires to be formed in us, and have us grow in the knowledge of Him, in whom we live, and move and have our being, the Creator of all things visible and invisible, the Lord God Almighty. He wants us to bud, blossom and fill the whole earth with His fruits, bringing glory and honor to His name. The Lord be glorified, the Lord be magnified, the Lord be exalted!
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (Luke 2:52)
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:11-16)
"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." (Colossians 2:6-7)
"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." (1 Peter 2:1-3)
"Everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:13-14)
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase." (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)
"And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." (Philippians 1:9-11)
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." (2 Corinthians 3:18)
"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)
