#I was thinking I need to do more subtle and complex colors #I love doing charts like this. I just like colors #it’s funny how when people ask me what kind of art I like I say ‘color field’ but do I ever do any colorfield art? no #idk what would even make for a good color field piece #and all my colored pencil drawings are kind of small. not much of a field #but idk I should try #I just like big flat areas of color and non-representational art #rgb + cym + orange and purple #color tests #these are my on-the-go pencils #colored pencils #my art #I like the contrast of a ‘complex’ or subdued color with a bright pure color #but I think everyone likes this contrast #colored pencils are so nice for layering colors
