Bakugo walks into your shared apartment to see you in the living room surrounded by packages, all excitedly torn open with discarded bubble wrap lying around you. Various Dynamight themed trinkets are littered at your feet, everything from keychains to can badges and exclusive cafe coasters.

He chuckles to himself while placing his boots in the closet by the door. “Go on another shoppin’ spree, sweets?”

You turn your head away bashfully, tapping your fingers against your thighs. “…yeah. Someone was selling a bunch of limited edition merch.”

Bakugo strolls into the living room and observes all the items on the floor. He leans down to leave a kiss on your cheek before turning to head for the bathroom to shower.

“Ya know I can get ya that shit for free, babe,” he calls over his shoulder. “I am Dynamight.”

“I know!” You answer, picking up one of the keychains and smiling. “Just being a supportive girlfriend is all.”

Haul of Ancient Roman Coins Discovered in Sicily

A rare haul of 27 silver Roman coins dated between 94 and 74 BC has been discovered on the remote island of Pantelleria, the Sicily region said on Monday.

The discovery was made during a cleaning and restoration project by a team led by archaeologist Thomas Schaefer from the University of Tuebingen in Germany.

It was found in the Acropolis, part of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte, Cave di Cusa and Pantelleria, which is one of the largest such sites in the Mediterranean and includes the remains of an ancient Greek colony founded in the 7th century BC.

The discovery was on the same site where 107 Roman silver coins had been unearthed in 2010 and not far from where the three famous imperial statue heads of Caesar, Agrippina and Titus had been found a few years earlier.

The coins would have been minted in Rome and date back to the Republican age, the same period as the first find.

"This discovery … offers valuable information for the reconstruction of the events, trade contacts and political relations that marked the Mediterranean in the Republican age," said Francesco Paolo Scarpinato, a regional councillor for cultural heritage.

Some coins appeared in the loose soil after recent heavy rains while the others were found under a rock during the excavations and have already been cleaned and inventoried.

The archaeologist Schaefer speculated that the treasure was hidden during a pirates' attack and never retrieved.

Oscar doesn’t usually pay any mind to magicians, especially on the side of the road. So it’s a bit of a surprise that this one manages to grab his attention. He’s got curly hair and a bright smile as he asks the woman in front of him if he’s got the right card, holding it out in front of him. When she winces, shakes her head no, he doesn’t fret. The man simply says, “Oh, sorry! I meant this one,” and pulls another card from behind her neck. His wide smile distracts her from her necklace clasp opening and disappearing into the crowd. She laughs good-naturedly along with the crowd, talks with her friends as they move away and on with their day none the wiser. Oscar almost pities her. Then again, ignorance is bliss, and she seems happy enough.

The man's gaze catches next on Oscar, and he gestures him forward with one hand. As he makes his way to the front, the magician shuffles his deck, putting on a show. "What's your name?"

"Oscar."

"Oscar, I'm Lando." Lando reaches his hand forward to shake his. Oscar can almost feel his fingers ghost over the inside of his watch, feeling for the clasp, identifying the best way to open it. "Would you like to play a game with me?"

Well, Oscar's not on a tight schedule, and the man's pretty enough, so. He can play along for a bit. "Sure. What's the game?"

The man explains the game, a mostly generic 'pick a card, any card' type of show, all the while shuffling the deck between them. They proceed with the game, Oscar keeping his eyes on Lando's face. He's sure he notices with the way his lips twitch every time their eyes meet, probably thinking about how easy of a mark he is. Finally, he pulls the card from Oscar's sleeve, presenting it triumphantly first to Oscar, then to the crowd.

Oscar pretends not to feel the watch slip from his wrist as the magician pulls back. Oscar's only taken one step back when he hands the card back to Oscar with a wink, "So you'll remember me."

The change in routine gives Oscar pause before he extracts himself from the crowd. As he's walking away, he flips the card around to find a number written in sharpie. He regards it for a moment before tossing it in the nearest garbage as he passes. He briefly wonders how soon Lando will notice his newly empty pockets as he clips the watch back onto his left wrist.

Facebook marketplace VHS haul!! So many good ones! Few duplicates from my collection before this, but luckily all the dupes were literally my fav movies so I’m still happy to own another! Especially when they have a diff cover! The lot came with prob like 20 more but a lot of shitty sequels and movies I’m not overly interested in. But all of this for 50 bucks was really good!

Killing Raphael is still one of the saddest moments of the game for me: I enjoyed plotting against him, knowing that he was manipulating me, and then pissing him off by breaking into his house stealing his shit and making fun of him and pissing him off. Who am I going to hate and scheme against now? Life is so hollow...
