This is a project I've been working on for a while. The idea was to draw all the members of NSR in traditional clothes inspired by various ethnic groups/cultures residing in Malaysia (or/and which were implied in the game). Below, I have listed first the characters; then the names of their traditional clothes; and lastly the countries (or cultures) said clothes are derived from.

Would he play Minecraft? Optimus Edition

G1 - 100% would play Minecraft with Bumblebee, Jazz, Wheeljack and Spike. He’s like an old man fumbling around and dying so often they feel enough pity to put Keep inventory on. G1 Comic - NO- no one will let him after the video game of doom. Beast Wars (Primal) - No, has no one to introduce him to it but also would probably prefer to go on a hike in the real world. Armada - I feel like it would take a lot more then G1 but I think the kids + The Minicons + Hot Rod could break him down enough to play, thinks it’s ok. Bayverse - The first movie and Bumblebee probably but by the 5th movie there isn’t a chance. Animated - he would for Sari and is surprised how much he enjoys it. Prime - No, the kids try so hard to get him to just try it out but he is too serious. Orion Pax would though. Cyberverse - Ya, he’d at least try it out. Earthspark - Oh definitely he plays with the Maltos quite often, tries to get Megatron to join. Probably tries to collect all the passive mobs in his very rudimentary zoo. One - (Orion Pax) Yes and he gets D-16 to join him. He makes sure they put their Minecraft beds together- ( Optimus Prime ) He probably wouldn’t but Bee wants too and he can’t say no and well the happy memories do kinda hurt his spark it is nice to see Bee so happy.

“In a continued commitment to promoting celebrations of heritage, Barbie is unveiling its first Barbie Diwali doll,” Mattel wrote in a news release. “The Barbie Diwali doll celebrates India’s cultural richness with a worldwide audience.”

Diwali Barbie sports a dark blue Anita Dongre lehenga, golden bangles and jhumka, high heels, and a ponytail. She has no backstory.

Dongre told USA Today that designing the look took over a year. She first envisioned the doll having several outfits. “I wanted to have an entire collection,” she told USA Today. “Should it be a lehenga? Should it be a sari? Should it be a sharara? There’s so much one can do. Indian fashion is just so versatile.”

nothing gets past kids, and they can sense his weakness when he’s talking about you. they are ruthless

before they can break him, you have to step in and tell them to pick one question each to ask. he’s not sure how you’re corralled them so well, or how you can even tell some of them apart to the point of reprimanding them for tricking him. no wonder you can keep his family in line

once he realizes your job isn’t over until the night ends and their parents come to get their kids, he tries to sneak off a few times, but he always ends up with a couple shadows and has to come back

eventually he’s resigned to his fate, and finds he much prefers the cute little babies since they’re more than happy to mess with his jewelry, and he gets to pinch their cute little chubby cheeks <3

as much as he hates it, the kids love him and whatever device he brought along to play with

after promising to replace anything they break, he sits down and plays games with them and finds out he actually enjoys it

the older ones actually engage in the game with him and ask him game related questions, which he's more than happy to answer, and the younger ones can be handed a disconnected controller and still be kept happy

this is to the point where the kids actually forget to question him about who he is, and only ask if he'll be at the next event. who is he to say no?

you’re prepared, and he thinks he is too until he gets there haha. but, he keeps it together and adapts well

he's very collected though, he tries his best to deflect their questions and keep them off that topic

I think Dick is familiar with hair oiling because of his Romani background, but doesn’t start doing it until you guys are dating because you do it regularly so he just starts joining you

OR he does do it, but…badly. with one of those over-priced chemical-filled Sephora brands, and he doesn’t even apply it correctly. The first time you see him do it you’re legitimately offended. You spend the entire afternoon teaching him the right way, first taking him to the Indian market (they’re in new jersey so you know there’s plenty💀) and collecting all the ingredients and explaining the benefit of each one, then going back to his place and showing him how to properly toast the herbs and spices and then warm the oil with them, how to massage it all throughout his scalp and find all the pressure points.

He’s sooo attentive and genuinely interested, plus he just loves how passionate you are about this

Finally posting my silly MF DOOM Starshake fic along with my doodle !! The fic will be under the readmore bc it's so long 😭

The room floor looked like a crime scene of junk food. Old pizza boxes were towered lazily in the corner while crumpled chip bags lay defeatedly around the couch. The air carried a faint smell of artificial chip flavoring, but Star didn’t seem to care. She never did.

Sitting cross-legged on the floor, she was surrounded by a collection of CDs, the shiny surfaces catching the reflection of the old cable TV her boyfriend had become attached to. Each CD was unfamiliar to Shake, who lazily lounged nearby on the couch, occasionally glancing her way.

“Alright..” Star said, clicking the chunky buttons on the battered CD player. It whirred and clicked, the sound of an aging machine struggling to keep up. “Tonight, we’re listening to MF DOOM. Trust me babe, just listen..”

Shake raised his “eyebrow,” the lid of his cup lifting with exaggerated skepticism. “DOOM? What kind of name is that? Sounds like he'd walk around in some weird costume..”

Star’s face lit up enthusiastically, her grin widening as she held up one of the CDs. “Actually, you're kinda right! He wears a mask.. He’s a villain. Like, THE villain. You’re gonna love him.”

She handed the CD over, the strange and unfamiliar object now in Shake’s yellow gloved hand. He squinted at the strange imagery of a man wearing a mask, making Shake realise that this is nothing like his usual music taste. He studies the name on the CD, Madvillain. “Uh... babe? Did you hand me the wrong one?”

“Nope!” Star said, laughing as she took the CD back and cracked it open. “Still MF DOOM. He’s got a ton of aliases and collaborations. Madvillain is just one of them.. he worked on this one with Madlib.”

Shake gestured at the pile of CDs scattered around her. Nearly every one stated a different name. His lid twitched in confusion as he studied each one of them. “So they're all him.. how many aliases does this guy need?”

Star chuckled, sliding the CD into the player. “A lot.”

“And they’re all... the same guy?”

“Yeah..”

The CD player let out a loud crackle before the music started. The room filled with DOOM’s distinctive sound, causing Star to move back and forth slightly to the beat, silently showing how much the music means to her.

Shake’s mouth curled into an uncharacteristically soft smile at this, revealing a side only some people would ever see. “You know... this guy’s got style,” he said after a moment of pretending not to care as much as he did. “I mean, he’s not me, but he’s alright. I’m telling you, babe, if the world had given Nude Love a chance, I’d have already been famous by now!”

Star couldn’t help but laugh, crawling over to him and wrapping her arms around him. She rested her head lightly on his lid, the two of them settling into a surprisingly comfortable position.He leaned back against her, letting himself relax as the music from the old CD player filled the room.

For the rest of the album, they stayed like that, wrapped up in each other’s warmth. Shake grumbled occasionally, as if trying to convince himself he wasn’t that impressed, but Star didn’t buy it, she could tell the music was affecting her boyfriend the same way as it affected her.

And maybe, Shake decided he would let her pick the music a little more often. Not because he was actually into it or anything, but because he was such a generous boyfriend. Or so he’d say..
