With this drink comes the reminder that spring is right around the corner. The earthy matcha combines with the florals of mint and creamy coconut to make this a definite crowd pleaser. The best part is that you can have this two different ways! Make it with fresh lime and our Mint & Lemon Verbena syrup, or skip a step and go straight for our Mojito Mixer (made with fresh lime, natch).
Spring Affair
1 oz coconut milk
.5 tsp matcha
.5 oz lime +.75 oz C&S Mint & Lemon Verbena -or-
1 oz C&S Mojito Mixer
Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until tin is frosted. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.

Twisted Teas
I don’t know a lot about tea, only that I usually like it iced and sweet, a casualty of growing up in the south. But I’ve been wanting to learn more about it, especially blends. I found this cool website, Adagio Teas, that have a bunch of fan made fandom blends for a ton of different books, movies, video games, and tv shows (#notsponsored). So I thought I would try my hand at making teas for the Twisted Wonderland cast. I tried to go off vibes, color schemes, and their favorite food. Hopefully my train of thought makes sense. If anyone wants to actually try any of these let me know how they taste.

Random Ass Question....
What's your favorite perfume/cologne? I'm a perfume whore, and my birthday is coming up - so I want to check out some new stuff before giving my family my wish list.
My faves are:
Absolutely any of the Marc Jacob Daisies
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
Miss Dior
Ralph Lauren Romance
Black Opium
YSL Paris
Tom Ford's Lost Cherry and Velvet Orchid (But damn, I need my cousin to work for them again to get the discount! lol)
Bath & Bodyworks Japanese Cherry Blossom
Bath & Bodyworks You're the One (which they just discontinued, and I hate them)
Bath & Bodyworks Coconut Lime Verbena (which is discontinued, at least in the US, for a long time, and I'd travel to get this shit! I miss it so much I hoard the one little bottle I have left! lol)
Mary Kay Belara - I knew nothing of this - stayed at a B&B where the owner sold Mary Kay - and she sold me on this.

So...
Warm Sugar Vanilla, Japanese Cherry Blossom, or Coconut Lime Verbena lotion for Ashley?
I write her as wearing Winter Candy Apple tbh
So if I had to pick one from that list, it'd be Coconut Lime, but. I associate Ashley with apples for some reason.

Very late June 2023 Empties! Continuing my quest to use up my huge hoard of beauty supplies and hotel toiletries! Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena conditioner (basic), NYC In a Minute Chinatown grey nail polish (circa 2011), Olay Regenerist Whip Hydrating Moisturizer (liked this a lot!), and L'Occitane Verbena Shampoo (very fancy, but maybe not great for bleached hair). #JuneEmpties #june2023 #empties #DrugstoreBeauty #HotelToiletries #StashBusting #samplesize #travelsize #MakeupHoard #CheapAssChic #bathandbodyworks #coconutlimeverbena #conditioner #olayregenerist #moisturizer #nycnailpolish #vintagenailpolish #loccitane #shampoo

((Shampoo’d Willow and then moments later i hear River let out this absolutely distraught yowl.
Went to see what the problem was and it turned out he’d smelled the shampoo on Willow and was incredibly upset that he’d ‘missed out’ on the shampoo.
Shampoo’d him and now he’s happy again. Only reason I didn’t do it when I did Willow was because he wasn’t around at the time.
For reference this is the cat shampoo I use:
It’s no rinse and waterless, comes out as a foam that you just rub into the cat’s fur. I use 4 pumps into my hand then spread it onto both hands and appt it with a petting motion. This amount is enough for an average sized adult cat.
It’s an oatmeal formula so it’s great if your cat has issues with dry skin, dandruff and itching.
I mainly got this for Willow because she gets dry skin and ends up getting itchy. I’ve definitely noticed this shampoo has helped with these problems for her.
As an added bonus it makes their fur SUPER soft. Willow has always had stiffer fur but I’ve found she’s really softened up after using this shampoo. River however has always been silky and this stuff makes his fur so soft you can barely feel it.
And if you have a stinky cat this will address that too (again Willow) it’s a relatively mild very pleasant scent. I know it says coconut LIME verbena but it’s predominantly coconut scent and I personally can’t detect any lime scent nor it seems can my cats both of whom love the scent of this shampoo which is something I initially wasn’t sure of since cats generally don’t like citrus scents.
I’ll also note that the scent lasts well too and both my cats are still coconut scented for at the least a week after application. I usually apply this for them once a month.))
