Open RP Starter: A Confused Conjuring

Well now wasn’t this a fine howdy-do? Millie had heard the old wives tales about fiends being summoned from hell to serve wizards and mages and make pacts, but those days were long gone! No one in the mortal world knew the ancient rites, and no fiend—let alone an imp like herself—had been summoned like that in almost half a millennium!

And yet, just as she was getting ready to go to bed, she had felt an odd tugging at her feet, and found herself being yanked through a portal that had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, tossed around between the planes like on a roller coaster, before landing in her same naked state she’d been in before, on a magic circle in some dark and dusty room.

“Wha’the hell? Oi, swee’cheeks, where’e hell am I? ‘Cause this sure as hell ain’t the hell I know!” she exclaimed, looking up at the figure she could just make out past the faintly glowing candles that formed a ring around the circle.

Arcane finale initial thoughts

This episode was a roller coaster for me.

-She cut her hair off screen? Why? If she is about to commit suicide I don’t see the desire to get a new look beforehand. Usually stuff like big haircuts signifies rebirth is storytelling, a shedding of the past. This is the opposite.

-A whole melancholy Jinx tries to kill herself scene. I’m so tired. Give her a break.

-the song is haunting

-I know that they established that the time travel doesn’t work past 4 seconds, so no saving Isha. But they should have saved Isha.

- I don’t get the Jimx with the flag in the intro. She never really became a leader for Zaun. She briefly called herself it during the prison break out. But that was about saving Aisha. Then she abandoned it entirely for Vander. She really never became a revolutionary. She avoided it.

-They built the hexgates with no off switch? Did Dr doofenshmirtz teach us nothing?

-We never see Caits reaction to Jayce’s….everything?

-How does Jayce know that?

-so Viktor died, he was brought back via mad science that stripped him of his humanity, and then, the exact same thing happened again. Something something two nickels weird that it happened twice.

-Does Maddie know about the sex with Vi?

-Is this the Waarwhik Viktor team up?

-If shutting down the hexgates is a slow but steady process. He probably should have started it earlier instead of having meetings to tell them how long it will take to shut down. Is there a reason he didn’t do this immediately after Viktors mannequin attack.

-Is Loris dead?

-Is Cait never gonna tell Maddie?

-Is Maddie gonna die so it never has to happen?

-The Undercity member of Caits new team is the first to die.

-Very similar imagery to Caits gassing of the Undercity

-Oh damn, they won

-Maddie was a spy, the theories were right

-Cait used the same gun butt jam move on Maddie that she did on Vi.

-Cait won’t die. I don’t believe it.

-what is with the sense of time this act. I have no idea the time between events. I thought Cait passing out was at least an hour time skip seeing as everything calmed down, but then Vi and the pianist are in the same place and same position as before?

-Is Viktor dead? Oh it was a trick.

-the hex ray from season 1?

-NEW DESIGN SLAYS

-nevermind he looks like a hammerhead shark.

-Cue all the fanfictions where this is resolved with freaky sex

-Cait you just got stabbed, how are you walking?

-With every scene change you can feel the writers struggling to keep track of all the characters. This fight scene is never ending cause we keep needing to pause for an ex machina reveal. It’s Voltron all over again.

-This is reading as Mel will become a new league champion. Mage support. The new design and everything.

-“People deserve to choose their own fates.” Says the guy who fuses Viktor with the Hexcore against his will.

-That was a cool Mel moment

-Is she saving her mom?

-So will Ambessa give up and Viktor is the new main villain?

-How did that kill Ambessa? I’m so tired.

-I can’t tell if 23 more minutes of this is a good or bad thing

-This redemption is sweet but, meh.

- Aw, they are flying like it is the invention of Hextech again.

-More loss for the sisters, cool.

-Oh, it’s the top of the hexgates like it was in the dystopian apocalypse.

-Them losing and the apocalypse happening would at least be an interesting ending.

-Viktor is spirit bending Jayce’s soul like he’s the avatar

-AS IF THEY COULDNT GO HARDER WITH THE CHRISTIAN SYMBOLISM. Jeez

-It’s like Viktor is asleep behind the mask, or dead.

-“what you thought were weaknesses” “your leg, your disease” “there is beauty in imperfection”. Was he supposed to find beauty in dying young Jayce? It wasn’t a random imperfection. It was a disability and debilitating disease caused by Piltover senseless mistreatment of the Undercity. Demonizing Viktor for wanting to cure himself, or make life better, or being able to run is so dumb.

-Yeah Viktor how dare you wanna live.

-Between that and the Silco speech this seasons big moral monologues are really flat yet sanctimonious.

-Viktor is in there. Seeing once again!

-“All I want is my partner back” gay baiting till the end eh Arcane. I’m not complaining about this, I eat it up every time. I am losing chess to this dog.

-AAAH LOVE IS GONNA SAVE HIM

-oh, the mage is Viktor. That’s. Hmmm. It’s fine. Don’t know how I feel about the goatee.

-Do you think they intended this twist from the beginning?

-“In all time lines, in all possibilities, only you can show me this” damn. Diversity win I guess.

Jinx suffered the most out of anyone in the series. She tried to kill herself and was saved by Silco, she tried to killer herself and was saved by Isha, she recovered with Isha, Isha died so she tried to kill herself again, she is saved by Ekko, and finally kills herself as a sacrifice for Vi? Fuck that. This endless pain train was t a recovery, it was just revelling in her pain till her violent death.

The half-foot thinks for a moment, scrutinizing her as he looks her up and down. Evidently, he doesn't recognise her. Mulling over the options, an idea comes to him, and he turns to start mixing up a drink. It's incredibly simple, made only of crushed raspberries, a bit of raspberry liquor and champagne, but it should be something decent to get her started. He already has an idea in mind if she wants something a little stronger.

Setting the tall drink down on a coaster, he slides it over to her, "Here." The crushed raspberries rise and sink with the bubbles, with several floating on the surface.

"It's called a Firebolt. Eight gold. You come here to drink or are you looking for a picklock for your party?"

Careen Ingle, a director on the show, stated that people can have kids via a stork bringing them pieces that look like them. They build the kid with those pieces. I’m not sure if this happens in the Unikingdom, Frowntown, or everywhere.

Unikingdom Naming Customs:

Animals in the Unikingdom are typically named after their being/what they are.

Lego brick creatures usually aren’t, like Richard, Beau and Kickflip.

Not everyone follows these customs.

Some people’s names are silly made-up words, like Bim-Bom or Stocko.

They don’t use surnames in the Unikingdom.

Areas in the kingdom are named after what they are. For example, Flowery Park is, as the name suggests, a flowery park.

Unikingdom Architecture:

Everything is, quote-unquote, “cute”

Everything is brightly colored and utilizes all the colors of the rainbow

Fountains?

Bouncy castles are legitimately buildings

Towers, either with pointy roofs (like Marques towers) or with round balls at the top

Decorative pennants and banners everywhere

Decorative lights and tassels

Flags

Unikitty’s castle is her, but way bigger

The mouth of her castle is a fountain

The tail is a greenhouse with a garden inside

The horn is a tower; there are crates full of stuff in it

There are secret passages in it (Are these in other buildings as well?)

The mouth fountain spills into the moat, which has a rainbow bridge going over it.

But there is another road to the castle that leads into its garage (where the gang’s vehicles are stored)

Buildings, furniture, and appliances can look like anything

They can also be constructed out of anything

Bunnies live in carrot houses

Crabs all live in a giant sand palace

Beds and homes can also be influenced by what type of animal someone is

Batty (a vampire bat) lives in a house that looks like a cave and sleeps hanging upside down on her ceiling

Hawkodile sleeps in a nest in his treehouse. His nest is never seen in his treehouse except for when he wakes up in one episode, so it’s implied he puts it away during the day.

In another episode, he wakes up with him and a pillow attached to a punching bag

Ball pits and silly slides

Circular/round windows

Lots of geometric shapes as well

Roller coaster tracks behind Unikitty’s castle

Spherical floating buildings behind her castle? We never saw what’s inside them

Japanese-inspired architecture in Action Forest, such as the dojo and the Torii gate in front?

By the way, Eagleator destroyed the dojo. It’s shown that it’s still destroyed to this day, and Eagleator camps out in the rubble now. But aren’t you supposed to treat a dojo with respect? (Did Eagleator kill Sensei Falcomodo?)

I don’t think the Unikingdom is trying to represent any real countries or cultures

Everything about Action Forest is based on gritty action movies from the 80s

Forts?

Stony lairs (such as Flamurtle’s lair)

Torches

Buildings, such as the castle, have secret passages

Tubes with sparkles passing through them

These tubes can also be seen inside people’s brains. Is that where their sparkle matter comes from?

Trash is discarded in trash cans and dumpsters

There are many playgrounds with swingsets, slides, monkey bars, sand pits, seesaws, and springy rocking horses (or rocking animals, or foods)

Unikingdom Symbolism:

Silhouettes of Unikitty’s head are very prominent

I spotted flags that had a silhouette of her head. Are either of them supposed to be the Unikingdom’s national flag?

Are there other unicorn-cats?

Are there any unicorns?

Clouds (Some are rainclouds)

Is Action Forest supposed to be a sacred place?

Their official bread- a cat-shaped bread roll with cream and a strawberry on top

Their official fish- a wide-eyed orange fish with a beak

Their official bird- A green, parakeet-looking bird

Their official scary man who lives in the sewer- Yes, this is a thing they have. He’s green, and he wears brown rags.

Their official song- Official Song. It just goes, “OFFICIAL SONG! Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!” (That’s all there is to it; it has no real tune)

Their official candy- The gang tried to pick one. They brought their favorite candies to life and had an entire Pokémon-style battle with them. In the end, though, they decided that you should just like the candy you have. So, I’ll just say their official candy is whatever candy you like. There’s a lot of candy in the Unikingdom anyway.

Demographics of the Unikingdom

The Unikingdom is populated by anthropomorphic animals

Like I asked, are there unicorns anywhere?

Some of them are animal-based hybrids

Monsters such as the giant jelly creature and krakens

Lego brick creatures

Living stuffed toys

Anthropomorphic foods (like Burger Person, Cookie Guy, and Herbert Sherbert)

Anthropomorphic objects (like Toaster and the kite people)

Living clouds in the sky

Self-aware robots (and rockets)

Crabs and bunnies have their own societies within Unikingdom society, but both are considered part of the Unikingdom. The crabs also have a “pinch dungeon.”

Aliens?? (Hominid is an alien who travels around in its UFO)

These creatures produce sparkle matter, which is sparkly stuff that pops out of someone’s head when they experience strong emotions.

Unikitty can also change color and burn/flood things with her emotions. I imagined that this is a thing unicorns have.

There are no humans/Lego minifigures in this world.

Who are Hank and Kyle? They, to quote Dr. Fox in their one and only appearance, “haven’t been on the team since their funeral.” So they’re ghosts?

And Batman exists?! Batkitty is the ONLY episode of the whole show that ties back into the Lego Movie, and he’s the only character from it that appears in the show. We don’t see him any other time, so I don’t even know if it’s canon

Geography of the Unikingdom:

The Unikingdom is situated on rolling green hills

The weather is usually very sunny (“Unikingdom- burning hot!”), so it looks like it has a warm climate

It’s prone to extreme weather, such as tornadoes, thunderstorms and typhoons

Action Forest is a lush jungle area; it’s confirmed to be part of the Unikingdom

But the Unikingdom isn’t meant to be fantasy Japan, like I said

Rocky cliffs

Fir forests

Caves

Dinosaur bones are underground!

Walkways made of towers and bridges are built around the cliffs and forests

There are much shorter bridges with no towers, too

Ravines? Some places in the Unikingdom are separated by said bridges (Three citizens tell Unikitty that the bridge to their town is out)

The Unikingdom is also next to an ocean

Tall coastal rock formations

It’s confirmed to be in the north of this planet

It makes sense because they get snow in the winter, and the Unigang can get to the North Pole in a short time

Volcanoes (which can come to life if they’re angry enough)

Some place with ice cream snow? That’s where Mrs. Ice Pop’s factory is

The surface of the sun?? They can go there?

Unikingdom Society

Unikitty is the princess of the Unikingdom and the sole leader

Her and Puppycorn’s parents are never seen or mentioned; Richard is their guardian. Fans assume they’re dead.

Unikitty is a friend of her citizens, but they acknowledge her status as princess

They don’t acknowledge the fact that Puppycorn is a prince, though.

There is no social hierarchy to speak of, but this society is matriarchal. The law says that the Unikingdom has to be ruled by a princess

Maybe that’s why Puppycorn is never viewed as a prince by any citizens

However, it seems like the current princess can just pass down the ruling position to a relative of another gender if she feels like it. (Unikitty decided to let Puppycorn be the ruling prince for a short time in one episode)

Can the princess be elected? I think not, because Master Frown, who is not from the Unikingdom, suggested there be a princess election in that episode

There are no armies/defense forces to be seen.

Hawkodile seems to be the bodyguard of both Unikitty and the kingdom as a whole. He lives in a treehouse behind the castle. Pretty much all the defense is handled by him, and he’s, to quote Cast Aside the Truth, “the toughest bodyguard alive.”

The kingdom can also be defended by giant kaiju-like mechas

Unfortunately, though, there are cops… such as the Action Police and Science Police… Detective Dan literally mentions a Unikingdom Police Department, and there are buddy cop movies…

It’s implied that firefighters exist here, too

Action heroes/fighters require action licenses. It works like getting a driver’s license; they get it at the Department of Mayhem and Violence (DMV).

Did Sensei Falcomodo not know this before giving Hawkodile his shades? Did Unikitty and co. not know this before (presumably) hiring him?

Unikitty is also assisted by her resident scientist, Dr. Fox, who lives in the castle and has her own high-tech lab right under it

Dr. Fox seems to be the one handling the kingdom’s technology. For example, she built the security system at the zoo. Also, her smarts and inventions help solve problems in the kingdom

Occasionally, she dabbles in medical stuff, even though she’s not licensed to practice it

Unikitty and Puppycorn also drive cars, parade floats, and bulldozers, despite not having driver’s licenses, or so much as a learner’s permit

The Action Police’s job is to punish those who don’t have action licenses. The Science Police’s department is to punish those who experiment dangerously. I feel like noting that both Hawkodile and Dr. Fox end up earning their respect in the respective episodes they appear in.

Anyway, pilots in the Unikingdom have to take a pilot’s test. Hawkodile is seen doing it, so I guess they can take it with no plane-flying experience (except maybe some studying?) (Did Dr. Fox need one to build and fly any of the aircrafts she built?)

People apparently also need a license to love chinchillas.

As mentioned before, crabs and bunnies have their own areas/societies that are considered part of the Unikingdom

There are also courtrooms and jails in the Unikingdom.

Judges in the courts are decided by spinning the judge wheel.

Some jails have a specific theme, like ice pop jail.

It seems like prisoners can escape jail at any time.

How are the characters familiar with mayors, emperesses, and Madame Duchesses?

It’s implied that they use a Gregorian-ish calendar in the Unikingdom, but some of the months are different, like Brickcember

They also use analog clocks and alarm clocks to tell time. In one episode, Richard says, “I’ve been up since 5:30 this morning.”

There are pet stores, as I said.

The Toy Zone/Toy District seems to particularly sell toys and games.

The episode Special Delivery shows us how wacky and zany the Unikingdom’s postal system is. Dolphins can deliver mail, and there’s even literal snail mail. (As in, snails delivering the mail.)

There are lots and LOTS of specifically themed parties, such as a Piñata Party, a Burger Party, and a Jazz Party. In fact, they celebrate something almost every day. Some of these parties are annual, like the Cotton Candy Pool Party.

I guess that informal IS formal in the Unikingdom.

Unikitty also has these kinds of conferences with her citizens on an outdoor stage?

People have sleepovers, where they eat pizza, do prank calls, watch monster movies, and play sleepover games.

Birthdays are a huge deal in the Unikingdom. They’re taken very seriously. They’re observed with cake, presents, big parties, and the Happy Birthday song.

Weddings are held outside. There’s wedding bells, flowers, groom top hats and tuxes, bridal veils and bouquets, and engagement and wedding rings. And wait a minute- bishops?!

In a scene where Dr. Fox is watching her robots get married, the officiant robot is wearing a mitre.

Funerals are done by burying the dead person in a coffin. There’s a gravestone, wreaths, and their picture. The attendees wear black and throw flowers on the coffin.

Traditionally, the people lay down a towel at the beach to claim a spot.

Elderly people customarily tend to their gardens, clean their dentures, feed birds, wait for their loved ones to call, apply ointments, bake, swim, and eat dinner in the afternoon

The elderly are seen as “always napping at weird times, drinking tea and knitting.”

Dessert sweepstakes are a thing. Unikitty and her friends search for a winning ice pop stick to win a tour to an ice pop factory

Libraries are run pretty strictly in the Unikingdom. They have a strict return policy. If you don’t return your books on time, you get banned for life

When on vacation, people take selfies and photos, try new foods, and buy a lot of souvenirs

Going to the zoo is a fun activity to people. So is going to the park.

In his treehouse, Hawkodile has SOME kind of shrine for Sensei Falcomodo. There’s his picture, a bowl of incense, candles, and a cloth on the table.

In the summer, people go to the pool for a fun pool day, play/watch sports, have barbecues, go on picnics, watch fireworks, go to the movies, catch fireflies, try on shorts, ride bikes, try on shorts, and go to the beach

Despite being roughly 11 and roughly 9 respectively, Unikitty and Puppycorn are never seen going to any kind of school.

In fact, we almost never see any kind of schools in the Unikingdom at all.

They do summer camps in the Unikingdom, like Lost at Sea Survival Camp, or camping trips for kids.

Action Forest is where action heroes train, and they practice in a dojo?

Hawkodile had supposedly trained in the dojo his whole life. It’s also implied that Sensei Falcomodo raised him and Eagleator.

Fuzz Fuzz (a baby caterpillar that Unikitty decides to adopt and who grows up) attends a Giant Monster Community College… but he’d graduate with a degree, not a diploma.

Wait, so college exists?

Medical school is a thing, too?

Unikingdom Mannerisms and Etiquette:

Being silly and loud seems to be considered acceptable.

Dishes are served on plates and eaten with forks, knives and spoons. People use napkins. Utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, etc. are cleaned with dish soap and sponges.

Food is eaten at tables, though people can have picnics on blankets.

Things such as flowers and candles are used as table centerpieces.

Her book, The Most Interesting Story Ever Told, took her 110 years to write.

Hardcore skaters were wiped out forever in the Skaterz Stuntz Gamez, and their hardcore ghosts are believed to haunt the ramps.

Dr. Fox studied hard and earned a PhD in science. But where?

Richard’s past is unknown, but he has a criminal record?

Hawkodile and Eagleator’s whole backstory together. Sensei Falcomodo is implied to have raised them. They trained together in the dojo. But… Eagleator destroyed it? And it’s still destroyed to this day?! Also, did he kill Sensei Falcomodo?

Hawkodile is orphaned, and he never met his birth parents.

Eagleator says that his family was kidnapped by bandits, and he’s running out of time. It’s also implied he has a baby sibling, but we never see them or find out who they are.

There are occasional s’mores wars in the Unikingdom between graham crackers and marshmallows, but how far back do they go?

by lunchtime: her fuckup little brother (who is older than her) is in a dungeon and has reached dizzying heights of fuckup even she had not believed him capable of. she finds the righteous anger she's been using to block out everything else she feels around him can't survive his sad tired eyes and now everything is Complicated. at BEST they're going to kill him oh fuck oh fuck. isolde feared her child being sent to the circle so much she did all of this instead. teagan has been so kind and courteous the whole time, and he 'can't imagine the boy as a mage, of all things'. ha. ahaha. get in bitch it's time to finally face all that childhood and systemic trauma you've been pretending doesn't even affect you that much this is going to suck

(you love the Circle. you love the Circle. you love the Circle. love isn't love if it doesn't bleed. right? right. (alistair gave her the rose so carefully, with such attention and intention, so the thorns wouldn't tear her open. the petals are soft against the pad of her thumb.) she doesn't let jowan out of the dungeons because she remembers what happened the last two times she took her eyes off him for five fucking minutes, and she didn't protect him then -- she'll do it now, this time she'll stand up for him, and that will fix it, surely. SURELY. we're bargaining staging this for all it's worth baby. her love is what dooms him to tranquility, ultimately. that she didn't let go of him, this time. and she'll live with knowing that for decades. augh)

she goes to her dad irving for help and he provides it with characteristic aplomb -- connor is freed, day saved yet again! (there's something so funny and like... immensely first year college student coded about the 'uh. this is a lot. let me call my dad real quick' vibes going on here lol) but irving won't meet her eyes whenever jowan's name is spoken and doesn't pick up on her tentative hinting, the way their conversations usually go, doesn't initiate a Clever Plot like she thought he might, and it all turns to ash in her mouth. she's just saved a family, and didn't even understand she herself had one until it went all to shit and she realized no one else would ever save it -- no one else would ever even think to try. the templars would close the doors and burn the place down with her family still inside, and no one would stop them.

she looks at irving's impassive face which for once offers no guidance, with a child's grief and terror as they first understand that a parent's hands can't fix everything, that they're only human with human limitations too. all at once she understands that he let go of jowan in his heart completely the moment he found out the templars had conclusive proof against him -- that as first enchanter you would go mad if you grieved every child lost that way, you have to put up some kind of framework in your mind to rationalize it and make it bearable. (and how could she blame him -- she did the same thing, after all. she's just less practiced with sticking to it yet.)

it's the first time she feels deeply how she was not abandoned when irving sent her away from the circle, because she's seen what his abandonment looks like now. and how could you ever know how to feel about that? that your father loves you so deeply he wanted to free you, and arranged for the disposal of your brother like so much radioactive waste with his other hand? that they all live in a system where what might have happened if he didn't could have been so much worse?

she looks and looks at irving's profile and thinks could you have let go of me in your heart as easily, if I stepped wrong one time, if I were less brilliant, if I had worked less hard to be perfect? and he turns his face away from her and doesn't answer. maybe he sent her to the wardens so he'd never have to answer that question. maybe that was the best he could do. maybe one day she'll be allowed to forgive him for it.

I'm going through a bad burn out and art block right now, it's been a roller coaster for me atm.

So, I decided to share some pieces that I've done in the past but never got around to uploading. That being the rest of Nash's family. His mom Clara, his father Howard and his younger sister Agnes (Kid and young adult).

I'm going to give a brief description of his parents, as I haven't figured much out for Agnes yet. Just know she's a very cute kid with lots of energy. Plus that Nash never got to meet Agnes until he venture through Aakahn with Bodie to Montell. This is due to their father never coming to Nash's place for them to meet and Nash never visited due to going through his own mental struggles relating to his father. In the story Nash wrote a song for Agnes, thinking she had their mother's hazel eyes. But she didn't and it disheartened Nash and made him realize just how much of his sister's life he missed.

But anyway, let's start with Howard! Nash's father worked at Aakahn's hunter's guild. He was known as one of the best hunters in his prime, catching many beasts. Bears, wolves and even some avian half-bloods. He was a fighter but also a strategist with traps. It wasn't until Nash was around six that a half-blood from silverben, damaged his leg severely. To the point where he was to use a cane due to his bad limp, thus retiring early from being a hunter. This gave him the push to start training Nash into becoming a hunter like his fathers and brothers before him.

When Nash was showing lack of interest in becoming a hunter and more into the arts though. His father did all he could to disway him from that path. Drilling it into him, how he'd be nothing to nobody if he didn't become a hunter. Stating it was in their family's blood to be a hunter and that he had all the qualities of a hunter. Even when years passed and Nash still didn't show much interest, he took Nash to Montell to shoot an avian folk he caught before him injury with a crossbow. He was proud that Nash took the shot and advanced his training from then on.

He never noticed how much this was effecting Nash, only seeing his progress and showing his pride when Nash did what he was told. Then when Nash was 15, he helped him move out so that there would be space for his younger sibling. He never visited Nash after helping him move, as when he found out he became a librarian instead of a hunter. He grew ashamed of him and focused on his wife, but then she died in child birth. Leaving him to seek a caretaker for the baby while he worked in a more easy place.

It isn't until Nash passes by with Bodie does the two meet again after 4ish years. He's impressed and proud of Nash for catching such an impressive beast. But Nash isn't the same anymore and asks why his dad never visited him or came to console him after his mom's death. To which Howard is dismissive but it makes Nash more annoyed, to point where he lash out with all the years of anger flooding out. It's here he learns that Howard didn't visit due to being ashamed of Nash's choices and Nash disowns his father. Citing they were only tied by a last name and that was it, and how he wants nothing to do with him anymore and leaves with Bodie.

SO, yeah that's Howard! Onto Clara!

Clara all her life wanted to go to Thessla and train to become a mage. As she always was fascinated by glyph magic and knew she had some strong times to her affinities. However, her family was anti-magic and forced her into jobs around Aakahn. It made her feel tied down as she practiced magic on the side, away from her folks. But then they set her for an arranged marriage with Howard and there wasn't anything she could do about it. Thus stopping her magic practices and being wedded to Howard. Then having Nash as their first son. At first, due to postpartum depression. Clara distances herself, only feeding and caring for Nash when he cried.

However, things were easy as Nash was a very relaxed baby. Then as he got older, Clara would still be distant emotionally at times but tried her best to help Nash in anyway she could. Even showing off glyph magic to Nash when Howard was off working. When he went into retirement due to his limp, and started training Nash. She truly saw how much of a toll it was taking on their son. She tried to voice her concerns but was shot down multiple times by Howard. So, she'd make it up to Nash by taking him on nature walks, going to the library and in the summer time watching the fireflies.

She even saved money and bought Nash a violin, after his 11th birthday. Seeing how shaken up he was after shooting the avian half-blood. There wasn't mush she could do, other than say how sorry she was due to all of events his father put him through. Even the day he moved out, all she could muster was a teary sorry as he left. Even still, she waited for her son to visit. Writing letters and sending him the stories he would write her on her birthdays and Mother's Day. After she passed away giving birth to Agnes, she never blamed Nash for never coming but only wish to Div that he lives a better life than she did.

That was a lot to write....

BUT I hope you guys like the rest of Nash's family and I hope you all have a lovely day!

Well now wasn’t this a fine howdy-do? Millie had heard the old wives tales about fiends being summoned from hell to serve wizards and mages and make pacts, but those days were long gone! No one in the mortal world knew the ancient rites, and no fiend—let alone an imp like herself—had been summoned like that in almost half a millennium!

And yet, just as she was getting ready to go to bed, she had felt an odd tugging at her feet, and found herself being yanked through a portal that had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, tossed around between the planes like on a roller coaster, before landing in her same naked state she’d been in before, on a magic circle in the center of what appeared to be some old classroom.

“Wha’the hell? Oi, swee’cheeks, where’e hell am I? ‘Cause this sure as hell ain’t the hell I know!” she exclaimed, looking up at the figure she could just make out past the faintly glowing candles that formed a ring around the circle.

"I can't believe it actually worked..." The voice from the shadows said in amazement. And even though the speaker was hidden for some big dramatic reveal, anyone could tell that the person who had summoned Millie was insanely, almost inhumanly handsome. "Luna was right."

The Parks Between

In my latest game of abandoned magic theme parks, there is a reference to the Parks between and the Fair, especially with the Derviche of the Swing class.

First the Fair......well my thoughts were mixing the Fair with old rides, Fair Elves and fae sounds similar to fair. Basically otherwordly beings appearing as carnivals, fair, and ready to bring you forever to their sorta living place, The Parks Between. Now what is this place ? Reading the latest edition of the french Nephilim, one of the newest mysteries is the city of Arcadia. A city spread across every city in the world. Enter a picturesque city block in Paris, go through an alley and suddenly you are in Prague. Little pieces of town that forms a whole. That was the main inspiration ( and a new favorite trope of mine). Also the Infinite Realms from Danny Phantom, I admit it.

Could u please share some headcanons (if u have any) for havik, reiko and/or rain?

sure sure I got some, the seriousness in these is going to be a roller coaster - Rain's favorite drink is tea, he knows how to do the best teas and he always has a perfect tea for each ocassion - Havik doesnt really shower, he just wash himself in water, with no soap or shampoo. He's kinda smelly - Reiko is a dog person, he'd had 15 dogs if he had the chance - I have a specific headcanon for Havik's eyes through the versions we see on game

-I'm convinced Reiko is not fully "human" or just your regular outworlder, he might be mixed with something wacky because those eyes aren't normal - Rain knows how to manipulate other elements (this is confirmed on one of his dialogs with Quan Chi) but it's thanks that he has that knowledge that he can manipulate and control more complex forms of the base elements. For example, magma, mist/vapor/smoke, salty water, even, perhap, liquids of more complexity, like blood. He's kinda OP - Havik is obvioulsy traumatized. Sometimes he has involutary reactions when something passes near him quickly, he flitch a little. And that makes him so mad, he doesnt want to have that reaction but he cant help it. -Headcanon Realated to Havik but not specifically of him. In this timeline there was also a curfew law on Seido, I imagine there was some kind of alarm indicating when it starts and ends. I imagine Havik also has a trauma with whatever that sound is

-Rain's room is also his study, so that allows him to being a nerf 24/7 -Rain and Reiko are very good friends, they know each other since they were kids. Rain knows Reiko is more than brute force (Reiko is absurdly good at speaking and encourage people, he's just a bit impatient and has anger issues because of trauma) Reiko knows Rain is more than just a nerd mage (he is bold and resilient, but he is also quite deppressive and insecure after he takes decisions)

Day 5, reward (gift/prize)

To Runaan's highy tuned senses, the bright lights and clashing sounds of the funfair was anything but fun to deal with, but the look of childlike joy on Ethari's face when he'd agreed to go was more than worth putting up with sensory hell for a couple of hours.

It had been so, so long since he'd gotten to go on any big family outings (or anywhere for that matter).

Besides, unlike Rayla, he had no intention of dragging the love of his life onto one of those heart attack inducing rides. No, she and her human could keep those to themselves.

"You're brooding again, dear." Ethari hummed at him, bouncing on his heels.

"Am not." Runaan dropped his carefully constructed facade for just a second to stick his tongue out at Ethari, who almost immediately started to laugh " I was just contemplating the look on a certain prince's face when Rayla brought up going on that big wooden roller coaster over there."

"He looked a little apprehensive" Ethari agreed.

"You'd think that a sky mage would be more enthusiastic about rides like that." Runaan had no intention of finding out why said coster was called the bone shaker.

"He's probably never been to a xadian fair before." Ethari pointed out "and you know as much as I do that folks like to put interesting enchantments on the rides to make them more... uh "

"Interesting? Don't remind me."

Runaan may not of been ones for the rides, but there was one part of funfairs that he loved, mainly becase he got to show off to his big strong husband.

The games.

Whilst Ethari dominated games like the hammer swing/bell ring game and tug of war, anything aim or precision based was Runaan’s speciality, and he had two years' worth of Ethari birthdays to catch up on.

What a good thing it was that Ethari was a sucker for big plush toys.

First up was a dart throwing game, which getting 3 bullseyes would win you one of the football sized adoraburr plushes, some of which lit up.

And lit up brightly.

Which, of course, meant that the one he won was one of those.

And it was not a bad prize, since it was very soft, nicely squishy, and made Ethari beam as brightly as it lit up when he saw it.

Runaan swapped it for the beany moonstrider that Ethari had won off the hammer swing, and the duo set off again.

In rapid secession, they hit up 3 more games stands, winning between them another, non glowing adoraburr, a large moonmoth that could be converted into a backpack, and an even larger plush moonstrider, which almost came up to Runaan's hip. (And it was laying down)

".. and where are we putting that?" Runaan asked as Ethari presented it to him with a grin

"Foot of the bed? I would say lounge, but I think Jenni would disapprove."

Jenni, the moonstrider pup, the newest addition to the household, would admittedly probably hate the thing on sight. But that was an issue for when they got home. Not for now. The now issue was actually carrying the big, bulky plush around as they slowly circled back towards the food stands.

Harry Potter.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Of Your Making – Harry and Voldemort are trapped in a magical artifact and must forgive each other to be released.

Entwined – Harry is trapped (I have a running theme here…) on a distant, hostile planet and Voldemort is determined to get him back to Earth.

Memento Mori – In the hope of freeing Voldemort from his endless purgatory, Harry chooses to seek him out in death and they end up on a roller coaster of various Lives.

When the Phoenix Cries �� Sequel to Of Your Making. Harry and Tom are sent to another dimension where they must deal with a victorious Voldemort and a Death Eater Harry.

Sand In My Shoes – A non-magic AU. Tom is a professional chess player sent to a vacation island to deal with his temper and meets Harry, a comic book artist/surfer.

I typically do. It’s so exciting to receive happy comments that I want to be happy back. :D

Nightshade. It’s the only one I’ve written so far that is a tragedy.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Rarely. Negative comments are in the minority, but I still have to remind myself of that fact when one shits in my inbox because I tend to pay more attention to negative remarks – they hit harder than they should. I’m getting better at brushing them off. And if they are particularly shitty, I delete them.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I don’t think any of my sex scenes are smutty enough to be called smut, so no. BUT I would like to one day write a story that leans more into the smut as a personal challenge.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I have not written a crossover.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No. And if it has happened, I’m unaware.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! A few of my fics have been translated, especially Of Your Making, which blows me away to this day. People are amazing.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I have not.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

Tomarry, but Harrymort is in very close second place.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Hmmm, that isn't quite how I work. When I get enough of an idea to jot it down in a journal instead of it just floating about in my brain in hypothetical land, I tend to intend to finish it one day. As time goes by, I may decide that the plot isn’t as strong or as compelling as I’d originally thought, and it gets downgraded or repurposed into something better. So I don’t necessarily look at my ideas and say, “I’d like you to happen, but let’s face it, you won’t.” I’m more likely to say, “I think I might strip you for parts…”

16. What are your writing strengths?

Oh lord, I get so stressed with these kinds of questions. I’d say dialogue and engagement.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I rarely spend time describing clothes or structures or people. I have a scene in my current WIP (Deimos) where Tom takes Harry robe shopping (this is such a wonderful trope, god bless) and I tried harder, which meant I Googled ‘mage robes’, found an artist’s rendition I liked, and described it as best as I could. lol

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I’ve dropped in a few words from other languages when I feel like it might help immerse the reader in the setting, but it’s not something I do often.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter.

20. Favourite fics you’ve written?

I love all my fics. I’ve enjoyed writing each of them immensely, but if I had to pick favorites I’d say Of Your Making and A Deathly Visit.
