due to my life choices im learning more about the dcu films via fanfiction and-- well first of all the fact that i still don't understand what actually happened in these movies or who any of the villains are is a real testament to how poorly written these films were. because normally learning that kind of thing from fic works pretty well

second of all-- after superman came back from the dead they had him put on an ALL-BLACK SUIT? to show he's SERIOUS NOW? whoever wrote these movies is so dumb it almost thrills me
