I have successfully passed Cloud Foundations D282 and received my Cloud Practitioner Certification. I did take longer when compared to others but I'll explain how I was able to pass it in a month.
Read through all material provided by WGU

I did the Udemy practice tests provided at the end of the course material from WGU.
What made me take the longest was the practice tests. They are way harder than the actual certification exam. I was getting 70% at the practice tests before going for the certification exam.
