This one was a little difficult, considering Valentine's Day was this week:P Hopefully, my girlfriend will forgive me that I hadn't made any elaborate plans. We still enjoyed ourselves trying out a new restaurant that we found as we took a walk through the neighborhood.

I have to say that this wasn't as hard as it seemed. Sure, there were times when I wanted to check up on facebook or the news, but it gave me some extra time to do some studying.

February My Time Challenge Week 3
Get away from everything for at least a half hour each day. With all the new gadgets, it's like the world is at our fingertips. We can quickly access the news from around the world, unwind with a game, or check in with our friends through messaging apps. Although this can be good in some ways, it sometimes feels that even in my downtime I'm working. This week I'm going to make sure I get at least 30 minutes away from the distractions of the modern world, even if it means going for a late night run along the beach. http://innovatechallenge.weebly.com/february.html

February Challenge- My Time
Well, I know what some of you may be thinking, "What the hell does 'My Time' mean?" It's exactly that. All the challenges are about creating or using "my time". I chose this one to focus on creating more time for myself. It's not so much about being selfish, as it is about finding time to collect myself after or before a workday. I don't want to burn myself out to keep up with engagements and appointments, especially during the winter time when I'm more likely to get sick. I'm hoping these help to relieve some of the day to day stress and free up some time for myself to do other things.
