my (cis) brother is using my old license to buy wine and it has the gender marker F on there. so whenever he gets asked he just says “oh i’m trans”. its literally worked every single time.

oh. I think my fears about Chiefcake passing from old age were more on point than I realized. she's acting very weak right now.

and it's late on a friday, when all the rabbit-specific vets have closed. I'll call around anyway to see if at home euthanasia is an option tonight.

#I didn't expect it to be this soon #she's been sleeping more and urinating outside of the litter box #so I was planning on getting her on arthritis meds to see if those helped her move around better #but tonight......I know how animals act when they're dying.#something has gone wrong inside her #god these things always happen at night when the vets have closed 💀#all I can do is stay with her and try to make her as comfortable as possible #this sucks #at least she still feels good enough to eat the apple slice I'm offering and tooth-purr while being stroked

#jjba #jolyne cujoh #jojo's bizarre adventure #stone ocean #deliart #if u guys only KNEW the amount of reworking this artwork had #i began working on it in fall and it had completely different flowers planned bc of that #but as february came i changed it to spring flowers and decided to cast a wide net with different blooms #bc i knew i was gonna procrastinate even further due to the hassle of lining the knit patterns #and when i finished it there were still cherry blossoms where i live so. but as im posting it they have ofcourse finished blooming.#i was sooo close to changing it again to like. bird cherry blossoms or lilac (which are currently blooming here) smh #i might make a fall version for this later though #bc im a little partial to the initial color palette i had. the outfit was gonna be red and the image darker overall #.. anyway putting this in scheduled posts since ill forget it in the drafts forever otherwise

A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!! #zeno's art #pokemon #hatsune miku #pokemiku #ghost miku #project voltage #vocaloid #vocal synths #i'm very proud of this piece despite its faults #i learned from “bunny blast-off” and payed extra close attention to values #so the end result's grayscale is very close to the plan version. i hope that shows #in total this piece took 12 hours probably because of the three value layouts and three sketches - a bit overkill for me but it went well #if i redid this piece i'd like to use more vibrant colors especially for her hair #but in the end i'm very proud of it. my favorite details are probably the posters in the background and miku's face and eyes #this was supposed to be posted on halloween but i want to get it out now. maybe (hopefully) i'll have a seperate piece to post on that day!
