More about... Méline ☀️

High School season: Méline was a kinda of an edgy teen, eager for indipendence and quite the troublemaker. You could find them smoking with Castiel in the backyard, skipping classes to play basketball or making out with boys and girls (and then breaking their hearts). Only after Pierrick became their Art teacher, their focus completely shifted and, while they were investigating which form of art would have suited them, they got closer with Lysander. They confessed to each other and dated for some months, but Lysander's jealousy and Méline's avoidant behaviour made the relationship quite difficult for both. They broke up once Méline decided to study abroad and Lysander began taking care of his family's farm.

They used the pronouns: She/her. Sometimes Ambra and the other girls used He/him pronouns for mockery. Their LI was: Lysander.

Castiel was one of Méline's best friends, while Nathaniel was an acquaintance and Armin a friendly but annoying classmate. Kentin was a Méline's friend, but after the drama at the Moondance they started avoiding him.

University season: Méline came back to their hometown to finish their studies. They found everything and everyone changed; a feeling of confusion possessed them. In this period they often switched hair-style, work, group of friends... And, of course, lovers. They had a fling with their co-worker Hyun and often hooked up with Nathaniel. But something was always off and Méline was never satisfied. Worried for their ever-lasting moodiness and evasiveness, Castiel and Priya confronted them but ended up arguing. Hyun was hurt when he discovered he wasn't the only one for Méline and Nathaniel was facing too many bigger problems to care about "the girls' fighting". Left alone, Méline found comfort in Professor Zaidi's arms and, after their graduation, they immediately moved in with him.

They used the prononuns: She/her. Their LIs were: Priya (reciprocated crush, before their fight), Rayan.

Castiel was one of Méline's best friends, Hyun was a fling and Nathaniel a so-called situationship.

Love Life season: Méline worked hard to repair their relationships and to become a better friend, with various results. They also took charge of the Cosy Bear! But, you know, all work and no play... The situation reached a breaking point when Rayan received Marina's charge. Méline could barely handle the pressure and started questioning every choice they made in life. It's easy falling in the same, past mistakes and Eric appeared as the perfect distraction. But it wouldn't last long. Méline was consumed by guilt and, after a brief confrontation, they and Eric agreed to cut ties: they were both escaping from their pain and responsability and this outcome was inevitable. Then Méline chose to confess the affair to their boyfriend, but Rayan caught them off guard and asked them to marry him first. Méline accepted the proposal, but in the end the buried senses of guilt, confusion and self-hatred won. Méline left a wrecked Rayan at the altar, sold the Cosy Bear and hid at Castiel's place for some time.

They used the pronouns: She/her. They also started using They/them pronouns, mainly online. Their LI were: Rayan, Eric (short affair).

Castiel was one of Méline's best friends, Priya was their friend, Hyun returned to be a friendly acquaintance and Nathaniel remained a tense situationship.

Alternate Life season: On Castiel's suggestion, Méline follows him to the countryside to rest and think about what they really want from the future. They are guests at Lysander's farm and, overcome the initial awkwardness, they catch up quickly like old friends do. Life flows quiet. While Castiel focuses on his new songs, Méline has time for indulge in their hobbies. They even encourage Lysander to take more time to dedicate to poetry and help him in the fields. The spark lights again between them, but Méline is still too much scared to ask him another chance and Lysander seems hiding something heavy in his chest. One night, after seeing Castiel and Lysander kissing, Méline despairs and tries to flee for the milion times. They are stopped by the two men and they have a long chat where they all open up completely and clarify their feelings for each other. They start a polyamorous relationship: Castiel and Méline are both Lysander's partners and, quoting Lysander, "there are enough rooms in this house for your lovers too". Castiel is satisfied with this asset, while Méline would like to have more partners in the future. But, for the first time, they are not in a rush.

Pronouns they use: They/He. Sometimes they still use she/her while speaking, but more for habit than for other reasons. Their LI is: Lysander.

Castiel is her best friend and meta-partner, Priya and Hyun are their friends and Nathaniel remains a tense situationship. Rayan is their ex-fiancée.

Why would those guys overblot? What the heck?!

Oh. Not hard to explain.

Aaron Claw - overused his magic and was getting annoyed with a classmate.

Rayan al-Mena - Overused his Unique Magic + a classmate was getting on his nerves.

Elise Page - got blamed for someone else's mess, got mad about it, and lashed out.

Jian-Yu Song - miscommunication and also a stupid classmate.

Aster Nightshade - Annoyed with a classmate, someone ate his cake, and overuse of magic.

Longwei Jiang- overuse of magic.

Caius Luna, Xavi Luna, and Varian Luna - all three overblotted at the same time because they argued among themselves, so there was lots of netative emotion there.

Ester Thorn - overuse of his Unique Magic + lost control of his own emotions.

Xue Long Yang - a build up of negative emotions (self-doubt, doubts about friends, feeling as if some things were his fault, not telling anyone he had problems.)

Overall, they are all #CertifiedDumbasses

An updated note about my stance in the whole "False accusation" plot that happens during LL.

1. The whole plot is horrible and ridiculous and should not exist.

2. This plot is fucking unrealistic. The true is that if Rayan was accused like that in the real world... nothing would have happened to him. Is true that the people at the city learns about the case because Renata leaks the story on the news, but to be honest, I can't imagine people making too much noise about the situation, at most the students, and probably the people more likely making noise about the case and demanding justice would be women and feminists groups. The true is that the general public cares more about men's feelings than women's feelings. In the real world I have watched how women get burned and demonized for the most stupid things but men who kill and rape, barely get some heat.

3. Also it was a FALSE ACCUSATION, so of course, Rayan was in all his right to be the poor victim here, poor little meow meow was suffering. This is the narrative that a lot of misogynistic men are salivating to happen to them, this is a fucking male fantasy. Some men want to prove so much that women are evil to all cost. On side note: I have to guess and think this was done to clean a bit his image since the hate he was getting during UL was harsh, but I think women who where calling out how uncomfortable this character was, was justified. Because I know and I know a lot of women had seen this happening in their own school, happening to their classmates, living this experience and I don't think all the teachers doing this (trying to get into a relationship with a student) are as good as Rayan.

4. The writer representing Beemoov really sacrificed and burned four women (three of them are POC) FOUR WOMEN for the sake to save one man. You can't tell me this is not a very misogynistic thing to do in a game that is aimed for women.

5. I totally can see why Priya and Miss Paltry act the way they act if you decide to side with Rayan. It makes more sense why they don’t feel that sorry for Rayan after what happened: they were choosing to give priority to a woman over a man. Because is a feminist principle "I rather believe a woman even if she is lying, over a man that could be a potencial abuser"... because statistics says that 75% to 90% of the people perpetrating violence over women are men.

6. I think this is a good post and food for thought to talk about Renata. I understand that the women involved in this plot committed wrongs, but I think is good to question their motives and why they act like this (Aside from the writer doing a shit job).

7. What was really realistic was the amount of hate that Marina, Miss Paltry, Priya and Renata got from the fandom and because it was justified for the false accusation and because we knew from the start that Rayan was innocent because we're are watching everything as spectators, but this characters just faced the normal outcome of someone speaking out. The writer representing Beemoov did a excellent job demonizing four women and the fandom was more than happy to participate in this misogynistic hate-fest.

8. Misandry does not exist, because misandry doesn't have an actual weight or influence in the real world. Misandry is just the normal outcome of women having to endure abuse for many years and realizing later that they are done putting with that. No woman is born hating men and they don't teach us to hate them either but to prioritize their feelings. But Misogyny, that sure is really doing good and well and normal in the real world, even some women love to be misogynistic and think is the most normal thing to do.

9. This is just my own point of view about this whole mess. I have changed my mind over the years because I learned more and this is the way I see this plot now. I'm not looking for debate or people to convince me about changing my mind. I don't really care if people disagree with me either, everyone is entitle to their own opinion. If I missed something I'll probably update the post.

10. If you hate Priya I really don't want anything to do with you, this is not the place for you and you're more than encouraged to seek for some other place that can accommodate your misogyny.

High School Boy Drowns to Death After Jumping Off South Carolina Bridge in Online Dare, Another Dies Trying to Save Him Two high school boys in South Carolina died after jumping from a bridge on a dare given in a group chat by friends. D.W. Daniel High School sophomores Rayan Alnasser, 16, and Zakaria Chaar, 15, drowned, and their bodies were found in Lake Hartwell on Monday, May 20. The incident took place late Saturday, May 18. Reports from an individual who was on shore indicated that the way Alnasser landed in the water was awkward, which might have caused him to go into distress, according to Chief Deputy Chuck James. Zakaria Chaar then jumped in to save his friend but was also dragged underwater by the strong current. A third teen later called 911 to report that they could not find Alnasser and Chaar in the water. First responders quickly arrived, searching the area using divers, boats, and sonar, and later brought in cadaver dogs. On Monday, authorities found their bodies using sonar in the lake. The area where their bodies were discovered was about 15 feet deep. James warned against dangerous social media trends, saying, “TikTok trends or, you know, habits where people are trying to encourage people to jump off bridges or anything in that nature … I mean, it’s just inherently not safe.” The School District of Pickens County expressed its "deepest condolences and prayers" in a statement, recognizing the profound impact of the tragedy on the families, classmates, teachers, and the broader community. The district emphasized its commitment to providing support and care to students, staff, and families, with a dedicated team of school counselors, psychologists, and mental health professionals available. Rayan Alnasser was a soccer player for Daniel High School. His coach, Thomas Izaguirre Bonilla, mourned him on Facebook, writing, “Today I’ve received the hardest news a coach could ever receive. My player Rayan Al-Nasser has been called by God to come home. This is a tough time for me and especially his family as we loved him very much. Like, nobody ever asked me that, but I will say it anyway:

My best friends in mcl would probably be Armin and Kentin or even simply Kim and Violet. 

Armin and I would go off talking about video games, movies and anime, pretty much we would be besties no problems whatsoever, maybe that’s why I don’t see Alexy enjoying me too much or even having much in common with me at all. Kentin thou, I would have a lot in common with him, we would totally bond with our unconditional love towards our dogs (I had a dog when I was a teenager) and of course, we would relate in another ways too. 

I wouldn’t do well with Nath or Cas of HSL, probably I would’ve fight Cas verbally in many many occasions - me as a teenager have no chill to be teaser and I hated stric people like Nath or I would simply keep my distance from him overall. Maybe if I got an opening to find out about Nath’s personal situation, maybe we could be friends then, we sure would’ve a common interest in the form of books. 

Violet and I would bond with art related things - I used to draw even back then. Kim and I would have similiar values, we would both have our struggles with school and we would both could clash because of our personalities but in the end I think we would overcome it and be friends. 

Rayan and I would 100% be friends too LOL, I’m actually pretty good in having like superficial friendship with my professors, we would for sure hang out and have discussions outside the class about our interests - since we both like super heroes and art. 

I would actually be Priya’s classmate, since I went for law as a majour too, but I’m not sure if she and I would actually be super friends? She’s too focus in what she wants and who she wants to me, I was doing that majour with halfheart reasons and well, maybe that would bother her. 

I wouldn’t be friends with UL Castiel, Nath or Hyun, nor Rosa, Alexy or Morgan... probably not Yeleen, but I would try to reconnect with Kim and such. I would probably be friends with Chani, actually, for sure I would. 

As a love interest... I’ve dated guys like Armin before, so probably Armin? No, I would never had a romantic relationship with a teacher, not a teacher as good as Rayan and totally even if he had shown interest in me in some way, I would 100% not - maybe if he wasn’t my teacher anymore? when I would be done with college? Or not? Honestly, I dunno.

omg pls what would Azul's kids with El be named or be like? I can't resist the octobabies. I love the thought of Valerie and Aiden being good older siblings to them too. I love wholesome family dynamics.

The first kid is definitely a boy because that’s how it happened in the dream, lol. Has silver hair and brown eyes, and is the spitting image of Azul. His name... is probably Vale Ashengrotto.

He’s a bit of a cry baby and a little timid, but he loves his family and older half-siblings. He thinks it’s super cool that they’re dragons. Hates bullies and will stand up for other people, but becomes anxious and insecure when hate is directed towards himself. Loves to watch other people cook- and will sometimes sit on Azul’s lap as he’s doing paperwork. Prefers Uncle Floyd.

The second child... looks more like El, but has the same blue eyes and silver hair as Azul. Rayan Ashengrotto. Observant and charismatic, it’s hard to lie to or win an argument against him. Prefers Uncle Jade. Is the only one out of Azul’s children’s to know from a very young age that Aiden and Valerie are the children of King Malleus.

He excels at card games and is very good at tricking people into doing what he wants, but set him in a room with any family member who isn’t his father (as Azul can see right through to his darker side, for he’s the one who taught him the ways of a businessman) he’s like an entirely different person. He’s sweet and soothing and calm, always knowing the right things to say. A total momma’s boy. Rayan, when at home, loves affection and just soaks it all up.

And if there’s anything else to say about this family, it’s that they’re close. They’re protective. And their bonds aren’t easy to break.

They will lie and hurt and con to keep each other safe. I mean- after all- haven’t they been lying for years to people over Aiden and Valerie’s origins? They can’t exactly let the Valley of Thorns learn that King Malleus has not one heir to the throne, but two. El coming to the Coral Sea at first was to simply find somewhere safe to hide, and Azul- who owed her for everything back at NRC- agreed to make a contract. But then things changed. And he had more than just a former classmate and her twins to protect. He had a family.

And nothing was going to take them away.

If anyone tries to bully the Octo-babies, Aiden and Valerie are there to set things right. The Ashengrotto family is one to be respected, whether it’s for their business or simply because two very protective half-blooded dragon fae, their mafia uncles, and their very powerful octopus step dad will come after you if you hurt and/or are threatening any of them.

And trust me... you won’t get away. They will find you. And it will hurt.

Now, If Azul and El had a girl- they would be named either Mayrina or Sabrina. Or maybe El had another set of twins and they were both girls- I dunno 😂 If she did I imagine them to both have brown hair, but one has blue eyes and the other brown eyes.

hc: the boys getting worried abt candy’s passing out in the middle of the hallway! got u a difficult scenario, sorry!!

i’ve to figure it out honestly haahahahah, i don’t hid it darling but i’ll try, hope you like it anyway...For what i’ve understand this is a type of scenario to see   from the point of view of each route,so i’ll summarize a lot  to make it easy...

Castiel:   She was not joking, I underestimated the situation believing it was a banality, what an idiot.”  Castiel did nothing but reprimand himself when something was wrong, as if making a mistake was idiocy; But he had no time to think, his fiancée’s body was lying there, lifeless... The rosy skin all of a sudden white as milk and the dull face were a blow to the heart to see, especially if tears and blurred vision cloud your mind.  The indifferent people while you ... you   scream with all your strength asking for help, but no one stops, except for what? To take pictures of you, anger pervades your body, and then your survival instinct forces you to act... Your hands tremble at the thought of touching what was once yours, but you force yourself to do it so, in the hope of hearing that beat again, in the hope of feeling something, of being able... to have a second chance.

Rayan:  Nobody had told you anything, yoou were not there , what could you do? , a professor can’t, a professor should not, a professor is innapropriate... These were the words that rayan repeated incessantly , as he walked back and forth, raphael’s reassurances did not serve him, they were not enough.rayan was the typical person who wanted certainties, did not like“maybes”. He would have sold his soul to the devil to be a mere student at that moment, there was nothing more beautiful than being able to hold hands with his beloved and stay by his side, especially if in a difficult moment.It was nothing serious but the constant worry and anxiety prevented him from reasoning rationally.In the end he was talking about his girlfriend, even if.... even if for now she   just  a girl, it was only a platonic love , perhaps one day reciprocated , who knows.

Priya: Priya Priya Priya, furious staring at your notebook, while Professor Jules explained, you had lost count of all the times you had made the tip to your pencil, because yes ,you were never a patient person. Your friends seeing you so thoughtful thought banally could be simple sleep-deprived nervousness, but you weren’t even nervous, you were a caged hyena. Your girlfriend had just passed out and you idiot was still sitting there pretending to take notes, because your classmates were anything less than Open Minded persons and you just  wanted   to hide, still a little. It was not the right time but you still did not accept the fact that .. “the right time, it doesn’t exist ”. The palpable temptation to get up and run was so high  to make you lie in order to take advantage of the infirmary, which you did .Waiting was not admissible You wanted to be there with her, alone and only with her.

Hyun :  Nearly listening Chani you didn’t poured  the lemon juice on her,  “lynn passed out”?.. For a moment you literally froze on the spot, you almost didn’t believe it, you’d said goodbye an hour earlier and you didn’t understand anything but the sweat on her  forehead  you’ haven’t either  noticed , you just thought she was tired. The remorse at that point crumbled your body internally, reducing your organs to little crumbles . It was spontaneous for you to drop everything and run from clementine to ask for a permit  but .. , you were alone. Who would serve the customers? who would replace you? and above all, would clementine ever let you go?. .no... You couldn’t. Worried because you didn’t know if it was a serious thing or a trifle  , it wasn’t strange to see you mess up or forget orders left and right. The lectures of clementin were indifferent to you, you didn’t just want to go out and enter that damn room.

Nathaniel : It didn’t take long for you to notice that you had just gotten up to get her a sugary tea, but the bad news was around the corner and you certainly couldn’t be lucky. Two steps and then a splash.. The guilt hit your body, forcing you to turn around and leave the money inside the machine. Impulsive as you were, you  took his cold body like ice, taking the stairs two by two, almost hitting raphael who at that time rightly wanted to take a lunch break. To see his calm reaction you incensed yourself, hurling against him fearfully, spinning half the institute but you had to yield, the only one who could help her was the one to whom you were shouting at the top of your lungs... Seeing you in that state, he warned you to stay out, forcing you to repress the one part of you that for several years you were incapable of appeasing, the anger.

Okay but like

This episode... YAAAAS

I was so ready for it. Here are my thoughts after playing Rayan’s Route. We start off with Nathaniel which was to be expected after the end of last episode. But I feel like there is so disproportionally more drama with Nath than in any other Route, even if he is not your boyfriend. Rayan means a secret relationship (which they cover up perfectly, lol), Castiel is going on tour, Priya’s Route is struggling a little with the whole issue of people looking weird at Candy and Priya being girlfriends, Hyun is pretty drama-free except maybe being a little upset because of his parents divorcing. But Nath has been dramatic and full of issues since the beginning. And no sign of stopping with him leaving town. It just gets exhausting at some point and even more if you are dating him.

Chani is the best as always. She simply is. The others were nice too and I liked that we even at least briefely got to talk to ther other LIs for a bit. We also got quite a lot of Amber this episode. Definitely call her from the hospital and tell her about the stabbing or your LOM will drop like 30 and she will be pissed for lying to her.

But back to Rayan. I didn’t really understand why exactly he was there after we got back from the gym. There was something about Chani vaguely telling him that something was up but when did she have the chance to do that? At the fair? Or does she also have his number? But anyway, he was sooo sweet during the dialogues. And they are soooooo bad at being discrete. ‘‘Studying’‘ together in the library? Sure babes, whatever. Sure everyone forgot about the rumours already. And shoutout to the real Rayan if you are reading this. I heard you are on tumblr as well haha. I’d love to see your master reading list. Tag me.

I like that Candy got to think about buying lingerie as soon as she got invited to Rayan’s place. Same, girl. The three sets are all pretty cute, but personally, my favourites are the green and the blue one.The outfit is hideous. The shirt and the earrings are nice but the pants look sooo unflattering. No wonder, they were off like 5 seconds after entering the apartment of Rayan. Loved the apartment btw. Super cool vibe and the little nods to his art love like the little Jeff Coon balloon dog figure. I just don’t get why Candy is sneaking in like a spy because someone might see her but nobody even knows Rayan lives there so even if one of her classmates walks past, they will just see Candy enter a building. Nothing suspicious about that. At least not as suspicious as sitting super close in the library, arms touching and whispering about making out again.

I’m not going into detail into the actual banging but I enjoyed it and it was similar to what imagined it to be like. Classic Beemoov move to highlight the importance of protection. Condomns are important, kids. But why did Rayan have them. He revealed to us that he was incapable of starting a relationship or even a platonic friendship with another woman after his wife passed away. Did he... expect things? When did he buy them? And as someone here on tumblr already asked, is his wife still his screensaver? A thing that was a little disappointing to me was the completely hairless chest. I feel like he would be a guy with nice natural body hair. Nothing too extreme but at least a little.

Anyway, concluding here, my ranking of the best illustrations as following:

1. Nath (The shadows and proportions are just devine)

2. Hyun (I surprisingly loved that illustration, even though Candy looks petite)

3. Rayan (I meaaaan...)

4. Castiel (I liked the tenderness between them but compared to the others, only 4th place for me)

5. Priya (Priya looks amazing but Candy’s proportions are just way off)

Surviving High School During a Pandemic

This school year has been like no other students are stuck at home looking at a computer screen to access education.

Furthermore, as a student myself I can say it has been difficult not having the same social interactions I am used to on a day to day basis. However, I still contact my friends through texts and calls to keep sane.

With being at home there are more distractions than ever to allow students to lose focus. My phone personally has been my biggest problem. Not having a teacher to say put away your phone has made my access way easier to be distracted.

What I have found helpful to survive during these times is setting a goal. Setting a goal allows for you to prioritize what you have to do to meet the specific goal. For example, if you want to get an “A” on an upcoming test. You would spend less time on things that distract you and more on studying and paying attention in class.

This technique has kept myself on track and many others. So try it out and see does this help improve your high school experience during the pandemic.

I had a classmate on college that got pregnant in the 3/4 semester and she did most of her classes at home to catch up, now, at the end of it, she is nearly graduating, she is pregnant again.

I'm not sure if she is married, I honestly don't care.

She is extremely happy, sure probably tired and sometimes she can have her moments of "what the fuck I am doing", but when she talks about them or when she is around them, she seems happy with her choices.

I would never, in thousand of years do the same, but my mom did, she had me before going to college and she had my little sister in the middle of her major.

What I'm trying to say is, this is not a crazy concept.

Candy is already done with college, in a full-filling relationship for 3/4 years and, while I like to think there is a order for things to happen, I'm totally conscious of the next steps and to what the game can or not lead to.

In either way I hope that we all got the opportunity to make those choices for her, being our answer positive or not. Nobody should be forced to go through life steps that they're not comfortable with. I really do hope that the team give us the chance of choosing without any negative consequences for those that choose "no"!!

But lol, I will not mask how excited I'm for what can or not happen, we didn't even saw the Li's yet!!

I want to see how their apartment looks like now, I want to know what they have been doing in those 3 years, I want to see how things changed or, if they not, if they kept all the things that I used to love about them, I want to see them having a open-not-hidding-anymore relationship! I want to have talks about the future, seeing them planning their lifes, what kind of job Candy is having and the other Li's (aside from Rayan and Castiel, that we already know) are having.

And, on the greedy side, I want to see if they gonna ask her to marry them, I want to see her reaction, how they gonna do it, if it gonna be terrifying or how they gonna overcome it.

On Rayan's side, I want to see if he is gonna ask her to marry him despite his past, I want to know if he is okay, if he is happy with her, if he is still insecure and kinda afraid that she will get tired of him, I want to know if someday he will write a book, the travelling that they did and if they really went to all the places that they talked about to.

I'm not sure if I'm just been too detailed about things or if this gonna matter for the plot, but this is the things that I want to see.

More than the concept of what I don't want to see. I'm looking forward for all the things there is still for us to see.

I actually care more about the possible marriage than the kids. The kids can wait.
