It is done! Surprisingly before 4 am too. Lol. But here are all the AU kids and... the not AU kids. 

Amelia looks like she can kill you and honestly, with Lilia as her dad, she probably could as well. Rayan, however, looks like he knows all your deepest secrets- and he definitely does. Vale is a cinnamon roll through-and-through. Aiden is as well, though he does have a mischievous streak. Not quite as strong as his twin sister’s, but it’s still there. Ellis is a good boy, too. Baby boy baby. Vale is the most baby boy baby though. 

On the rank of most mischievous to most sweet, it goes:

What do you guys think? Personally, I think Amelia and Rayan are my favorite design-wise. Amelia one-hundred-percent looks like she’s planning something and I love it. I gave her green streaks since Lilia is known to dye his hair, so I figured she would too. That Heartslbayul dorm leader uniform was a nightmare XD Aiden is cute though. So it’s okay. 

Valerie is the dorm head of Diasomnia and Aiden is the dorm head of Heartslabyul. Sebek’s son is OBSESSED with Valerie- to her amusement and Silver’s daughter’s exasperation- while Riddle’s child is the vice dorm leader of Heartslabyul and is constantly trying to usurp Aiden who just wants to admire the flowers in peace. Vale WAS the dorm leader of Octavinelle originally, but gave up his seat since Rayan was better suited for it. He prefers working in Mostro Lounge anyway. Amelia is vice dorm head of Diasomnia.

Regarding Octo Dad au during the Bat Dad au. I just want all the kids to sit together and talk about things like their pasts and how they are doing. I imagine it would be a messed up family tree with royalty, royal guards and mermafia. Tho I hope they can come to an agreement about their mother's happiness and they are suppose to be family... Also I feel that El would feel so guilty about Amelia and that convo would be so awkward and sad. Would Amelia try to visit El if she could?

It’s such a soap opera family tree. You got two twins who are fugitive(?) dragon royalty, a bat girl, and two half octomers.

The kids would all get along quite well after the initial panic of meeting Amelia and having the “truth bomb” dropped on them all. Rayan would initially be the calmest in this scenario, and the voice of reason, despite being the youngest, with Aiden calming down second. Valerie is the most freaked- if only because of the way her mother grieved over Amelia made her think she died or something.

Because, like, El would have SO MUCH guilt over not being able to take Amelia with her during the escape. Woman freaking cried over it- and has never forgotten once about her. Probably isolates herself in her room whenever Amelia’s birthday rolls by. There was no possibly way FOR her to bring her daughter, and there would most likely never be another chance for escaping the prison called a castle. The guilt only worsened after she was under the sea and realized she was pregnant with the twins, as she believed they would never get to see their sister.

It’s the FATHERS who don’t get along- well, save for Lilia and Yandere!Malleus, but Yandere!Malleus gets very irritable with Lilia because at least HE got to raise his daughter- meanwhile another man raised Malleus’ twins. And Azul is just so freaking arrogant about the whole thing, because El is his wife and the twins are his kids- and unlike Lilia and Yandere!Mal he actually treats her right.

And like- don’t get me wrong- Lilia is a fantastic freaking parent. He’s the bat dad for a reason. But Azul raised her half siblings and she’s super jealous/upset about having not grown up with them. So she’s rather bitter towards El, especially when finds out she’s still alive, for that fact alone.

She’s not one to back down though, so the second she has a chance to talk to her magicless mother she takes it- and when she sees how pale and frightened El is of the idea of Lilia/Malleus taking her back to the castle, she gets it. She realizes when Aiden and Valerie and Azul are all so protective, and when Rayan and Vale go to try helping her away from the danger, even though it’s a freaking Yandere Dragon king and a retired general that they’re up against.

And she makes her choice. Still lives at the castle, but her relationship with her faerie fathers is a bit strained after learning the hell they put Eleanora through. Definitely visits the siblings, mom, and stepdad under the sea though.

What about Jade and Floyd’s reaction towards El during Octodad AU? I remembered that Jade had a crush on El before,did it fade over time? Also does Jade and Floyd teach the kids how to defend themselves?(they seems great for physical fights). I’m all for Uncle Eels tho 👀💖.

Uncle Jade would one hundred percent try to make the kids like him more than Azul. Babysitter supreme. Even if he’s long-since over his crush, he still highly enjoys El’s company and her normally unpredictable behavior. Her escaping the castle and hiding under the sea was the most amusing event of the year to him. Even more surprising was the fire breathing twins she popped out half a year later.

Is also probably the one who urged Azul to marry her, otherwise Jade might have done so himself. (El doesn’t get a break does she, lol) Mostly just teasing, as by the time they did marry Azul was already seen by the twins as their father, but... also maybe just a little bit having a hint of a threat 👀

Azul wasn’t going to take any risks in case Jade was being serious (and he probably was, you can’t trust that freaking eel smile) and pushed up the date that he would propose.

Jade and Floyd would definitely teach the kiddos how to protect themselves (especially Valerie and Aiden, since they already have supernatural strength as half blooded dragon fae). It’s how the twins start their habit of scaring off any bullies that try to mess with their mer-half-brothers. Valerie learns her scheming from Jade, lol. Even in the au, she’s still the one that works in the shadows while Aiden is in the front. She’s what makes things run smoothly. And also the one who makes people disappear.

(A lot like Azul and Jade in that manner, but also very much like Malleus. A strategist QUEEN no matter the world, but in another she’s actually a businesswoman)

Because Jade and Floyd came to Aiden and Valerie’s defense, Aiden and Valerie are coming to Vale and Rayan’s defense. Vale is admittedly the most innocent of the mafia family, with Valerie and Rayan the most shady, but family is everything. For all intents and purposes, they are Ashengrottos and no crazy Yandere dragon (or mischievous bat) will change that.

...Amelia can join though. She’s cute. And fits in quite well with the mafia fam. Azul is reluctant for her to visit at first- if only because she grew up under Malleus and Lilia and he does NOT get along with nor trust them, but he softens up and awkwardly treats her like a daughter soon enough.

Uncle Jade adores Amelia. She, Valerie, and Jade get into all sorts of shady schemes. Amelia is also very good at handling Uncle Floyd’s mood swings and temper, almost scarily so. She and Valerie are so alike it’s hard to believe they weren’t raised together.

Overall, all the kids (save maybe Rayan since he’s the baby of the family and has four super awesome older siblings to protect him) can kick some serious booty without using any magic at all.

omg pls what would Azul's kids with El be named or be like? I can't resist the octobabies. I love the thought of Valerie and Aiden being good older siblings to them too. I love wholesome family dynamics.

The first kid is definitely a boy because that’s how it happened in the dream, lol. Has silver hair and brown eyes, and is the spitting image of Azul. His name... is probably Vale Ashengrotto.

He’s a bit of a cry baby and a little timid, but he loves his family and older half-siblings. He thinks it’s super cool that they’re dragons. Hates bullies and will stand up for other people, but becomes anxious and insecure when hate is directed towards himself. Loves to watch other people cook- and will sometimes sit on Azul’s lap as he’s doing paperwork. Prefers Uncle Floyd.

The second child... looks more like El, but has the same blue eyes and silver hair as Azul. Rayan Ashengrotto. Observant and charismatic, it’s hard to lie to or win an argument against him. Prefers Uncle Jade. Is the only one out of Azul’s children’s to know from a very young age that Aiden and Valerie are the children of King Malleus.

He excels at card games and is very good at tricking people into doing what he wants, but set him in a room with any family member who isn’t his father (as Azul can see right through to his darker side, for he’s the one who taught him the ways of a businessman) he’s like an entirely different person. He’s sweet and soothing and calm, always knowing the right things to say. A total momma’s boy. Rayan, when at home, loves affection and just soaks it all up.

And if there’s anything else to say about this family, it’s that they’re close. They’re protective. And their bonds aren’t easy to break.

They will lie and hurt and con to keep each other safe. I mean- after all- haven’t they been lying for years to people over Aiden and Valerie’s origins? They can’t exactly let the Valley of Thorns learn that King Malleus has not one heir to the throne, but two. El coming to the Coral Sea at first was to simply find somewhere safe to hide, and Azul- who owed her for everything back at NRC- agreed to make a contract. But then things changed. And he had more than just a former classmate and her twins to protect. He had a family.

And nothing was going to take them away.

If anyone tries to bully the Octo-babies, Aiden and Valerie are there to set things right. The Ashengrotto family is one to be respected, whether it’s for their business or simply because two very protective half-blooded dragon fae, their mafia uncles, and their very powerful octopus step dad will come after you if you hurt and/or are threatening any of them.

And trust me... you won’t get away. They will find you. And it will hurt.

Now, If Azul and El had a girl- they would be named either Mayrina or Sabrina. Or maybe El had another set of twins and they were both girls- I dunno 😂 If she did I imagine them to both have brown hair, but one has blue eyes and the other brown eyes.

How would the Mallelora kids act around their crushes? X

I hope it’s okay if I answer this as all the kids (au included) 😅

Amelia Vanrouge would be very blunt and outright about it. Lots of teasing, playing with said crushes hair and/or braiding it into weird styles while they’re napping, but mostly... she makes food. Unlike her father she’s actually a very competent cook, and any who try her food are usually wanting for more.

Very few things make this girl flustered, her having such strong confidence and self assurance, but if her crush does something bold like trying to kabedon her... Amelia might actually flush red. Her crush is probably Deuce’s daughter.

Valerie Draconia is another very confident one in the group of kids. She’s also very teasing, but it’s easier to fluster her than Amelia. She’ll take praise with amusement (looking at you Sebek’s son 👀) but accepts gifts awkwardly when they’re from a place of genuine affection.

She’s much like her father in the sense that people are afraid of her and her power. She becomes the dorm leader of Diasomnia for a reason, lol. So when someone approaches her out of curiosity or without fear she’s easily intrigued, she’s pleased and amused. Several people DO have crushes on her, since she’s a powerful beauty, but only Sebek’s son has the gall to approach.

So he’s the one that faces her light-hearted pranks (she has too much of a soft spot for him to go all out) becomes witness to her rare and gentle smiles, and the receiver of her affectionate head pats. Valerie treats her crush more like a pet at times, relishing in Sebek’s son’s blatant adoration of her, but that’s mostly because she doesn’t know how to handle these new feelings she has. Thankfully, he doesn’t seem to mind... except for maybe the pranks. But he has no idea she’s the one doing them.

Aiden Draconia was just trying to tend to his roses as the dorm leader of Heartslabyul. But his vice, a child of Riddle’s, won’t leave him alone and she keeps challenging him to a decisive match. She’s absolutely furious that she failed to obtain the dorm leader position, and is even angrier that a Draconia- a person who should be in Diasomnia- is the one who got it.

If there is anything to say about Aiden, it’s that he’s patient. He’s also very understanding and sweet. However, the redhead pushes his patience to the limit with her constant bickering and challenges, and he sometimes poofs to some random place when he sees the redhead had found him. It’s a very intense game of cat-and-mouse, but Aiden is actually the cat in this scenario as he has everything under control.

Whether it’s flirting or teasing, he always waits where he knows she’ll find him only to then disappear, the mischievous part of him find great amusement in her determination to hunt him down. It’s very much an enemies-to-lovers relationship, and they get along quite well and work competently together when doing their Heartslabyul duties.

On days the girl overworks and stresses out, Aiden leaves a rose on her desk or places a vase of flowers for her to see. Sometimes there’s a cup of recently brewed tea to help with the stress, though no one is in sight, but she has an idea of who made it for her. It’s infuriating how charming he is, and even more frustrating how easily he stole her heart without even trying, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to give up.

They’ll continue to play this game of cat-and-mouse, and she’ll one day take the position of dorm leader from him. Then, and only then, she’ll think about confessing. So can he PLEASE stop sending her flowers already!??? Her poor flustered heart can’t handle it.

Ellis Draconia is a flirting panicked wreck. The spitting image of his mother. If he gets a crush, there is no hiding it. He’s red in the face, stammering, awkward, constantly complimenting and trying to casually touch said crush on the arm or shoulder or hand, often wondering if it’s okay to hug them, before cursing himself and screeching into his pillow about how DUMB he is.

Valerie teases him about it, Aiden tries to give some encouragement. Ellis hates himself. Just how on earth did his mother woo their father? No, how did father woo their mother? He’s so freaking pitiful and mother is- goodness, Ellis can’t. He’s a mess. His parents are a mess. How come Valerie and Aiden are so well put together!? It’s not fair.

Vale Ashengrotto is a good boy. The best boy. The sweetest of the Octo babies. He’ll cook for you, make your favorite drink, lend you his favorite book just because you asked, but... will do so while being completely oblivious to his feelings. He’s dense. So dense.

Everyone else, including his crush, are aware of his feelings, except for him. It’s both hilarious and sad. The boy will drop everything he was working on for his crush, no matter how big or small, so it would be good if the crush was someone serious or grounded to keep him from getting ahead of himself.

Rayan Ashengrotto is a smooth talker. A business man. It isn’t easy to get him to crush on anyone, but when he does he falls HARD. He does know how to separate the person from his work life and private life, so he keeps a firm handle on his feelings and situation, but given enough time he may or may not try and use some Mostro Lounge deals to lure the crush into the cafe simply so he can see them.

Oh, you need help studying? Rayan supposes he can help you with that. Prepare to have several notebooks full of regular questions based off of test patterns from the previous years. If you get thirsty or hungry while studying Rayan might make you something. Oh, by the way, would you like to walk around the next NRC festival with him when there’s free time? It’ll be easy to place Vale in charge of things. He’s dense, but very capable.

They both take after their father after all.
