So regarding Clementia, it seems very religion-based. I'm just pondering its symbolism. The MC wears a veil that transforms into a ring on her right hand, similar to an engagement ring. As you mentioned, could she be a sacrifice to the tree, or is she perhaps a saint? Her being a champion is on everyone card but what if she is saint of mercy? So a few things I want to note (I know we sort of already talked about this my friend but the people deserve to know your very good observations)

Where a wedding ring is worn can change depending on culture, and certain royal families have made it a tradition of wearing a ring to symbolize being "married" to their country so it could be that the sage's ring is meant to symbolize the MC being the queen of something. If not that it is likely meant to show she is the champion.

She probably apologizes to show she's very polite, the MC does seem to be that sort of person based off her use of the correct honorifics

I want more information about Clementia before making a solid call, but it does seem to be very mercy based. I think I spoke about this before, but Clementia and Ultio are goddesses thought to be representative of the qualities the Roman Emperor needed to embody. Mercy to the people (clementia) Vengeance to their enemies (ultio) so to place the MC firmly in the role of Celemntia almost suggests that the monster who cursed her is Ultio

Hera is the greek goddess of marriage, so for the veil to bear her name makes sense... snakes though, I usually would associate those with Medusa. And now that I think about it, supposedly that veil killed someone the last time it got out, I wonder if that was part of the clash?

Rewriting the Hollow Knight of Hazbin Hotel

So, am I the only one who finds it weird that Carmilla isn’t getting jumped by the higher class?

The girl has an arsenal of weapons that can kill Goetia’s members AND neutralize their powers. And she sells it at affordable prices? Stricker can buy those weapons for God’s sake! That’s how he kills Blue Bloods, shouldn't that ring a bell in the Royal Class?

It’s surprising that an uprising hasn't happened yet, some imps managed to build successful businesses (Bliztø, Crimson, Stricker, Barbie I guess?) imagine the disaster if one day they have enough of being treated as lesser and just happen to have enough money to arm a large population of imps.

I intended her to be Velvette's mother, but I changed my plan and turned her into my OC. One thing I don't like about Viv’s Hell is how small it looks. You're telling me that everyone either comes from somewhere in America or Europe, Nifty is the only Asian character, and Cherry Bomb is the only Australian but that’s not enough for me.

Add to that the fact that her POC characters are grey. Or that she simply doesn't add any features/accents that could help the audience guess which origin are her characters.

I know Velvette has an accent but that’s the only character who has one. They should have done more research to make everyone have a dialect at least as unique as Zestial.

Anyways, Carmilla is from South Africa. Don’t get mad at me, Viv’s Hell feels extremely small and I needed multiple POVs to diversify the backstory.

I want my Version of Hell to be a clash of multiple origins, musically speaking you can give the aggressive Spanish guitars to Vaga. Carmilla is associated with Kwela and Soul.

Nomsa Mbatha was born in 1959 and grew to be an impoverished black woman in South Africa during the apartheid, she eventually married gang members to survive.

The Gang was primarily focused on smuggling and economic activities and she participated as a new member when she got married. She partacked in smuggling weapons, drugs, and other contraband into prisons and served as well as an informant gathering intelligence from the outside world and relaying information to gang members in prison or on the streets. Nomsa also provided alibis. All of that is in exchange for protection and money to have a somewhat normal life.

She had her two daughters at 35, the two were twins. Nomsa interchanged between mother and Gang members and, unfortunately, had to bring the girls to do some of the dirty work.

The two girls died with their mother at 20 during a police raid. Nomsa was struck with guilt as she thought she was the reason Odette and Clara went to Hell with her.

In Hell, she renamed herself Induna and used her knowledge to start selling weapons, normal ones at first. Until she started commercializing Blessed Steels.

She didn’t get away with it, she was targeted by many Goetia members scared to lose their position of power since it’s the only thing that can kill them. It’s only through negotiation that she comes up with an arrangement with them with the help of Zestial who’s well-known and respected.

You need to be legally approved (A card to hold one in public) and only royal members have access to it Induna is the exception. The utilization is up to them once purchased.

The weapons are actually mostly harmless to The 72 Lesser Keys of Solomon. It’s the rest of the Goetia, their children who can be killed. The Seven Deadly Sins or The Other Fallen Angels are also safe.

Her employees usually seek the lost Angelic Weapons just right after extermination, they operate during the cleaning of roads and are trained to recognize blessed steel as they can't be noticed with metal detectors. They wear uniforms and it’s usually during these weapons harvesting that people follow them to steal from the company. It’s rare since her workers know how to fight but it happens and a small black market occurred from it, that’s where Stricker got his personal dagger. He also steals from the rich.

→ Nomsa speaks Zulu and Induna means leader of a group of warriors.

Nomsa means The Mother of Compassion and Mbatha can mean Protector. She’s a mother and the protector of her children.

→ The Twins work for their mother and she insists that they work indoors. One works to design the weapons, and the other tests them. Induna regularly trains them on how to fight and defend themselves.

→ Vaga worked for a few years with Induna and sees herself in her. She keeps her daughter safe the same way she tries to keep her brother out of danger.

EAH Dorm Rooms Headcanons pt 23

Class of Classics

That's right it's time to do the class of classics; the parents of our favorite characters.

Like their children the class of classic had some very interesting roommates and friendships that lasted beyond their stories.

First things first I', starting with the confirmed roommates in the series:

Evil Queen (Eagle) and Red Riding Hood (Ruby).

Ruby and Eagle were definitely one of those odd pairings when assigned roommates.

One would expect the future evil queen with the poison apple and the future damsel who was tricked and later eaten by a wolf would clash, but surprisingly the two got along.

Both girls were mysterious and kept to themselves so they rarely bothered the other and Ruby did speak kindly of the Evil Queen in the books.

I can see the two being friends until they graduated and went their separate ways to fulfill their destinies.

I still find it interesting that Briar and Ashlynn are in the room that The Evil Queen and Red! The cards said that the students would live in the rooms their parents did, but let's be real they were in a different room each year and kudos to the Evil Queen for hiding the Real Storybook of Legends for all these years!

The Evil Queen's side of the dorm would be similiar to how Apple redecorated Raven's side of the dorm except she has a canopy bed, and the room is darker with more spikes and mirrors.

In the books the Evil Queen's side of the castle was described as:

Over time Marie joins Marian on her adventures (in secret) until graduation when they went their separate ways because of destiny. Marie still goes on secret adventures and even gave Darling Maid Marian's book even if it wasn't Charming Literature Committee (whatever it was called) approved.

Marie's side of the room was French rococo style and was similar to Darling's dorm. With all the fainting she does she has a fainting chaise.

Marian's side of the dorm was a mixture of forest and traditional princess bedroom with a forest green and light blue color scheme. She has a huge weapons collection with bows and arrows being her favorite. Both would have canopy beds due to being royals and Marian would hide Marie's weaponry.

Snow White (Snapdragon)

During her time at Ever After High, Snapdragon's room was similar to Apple's dorm except the color red was minimized in favor for white and snowflakes were her motifs.

Snapdragon's room was on the traditional side with a few modern touches (the equivalent to 1980's) so she could fit in with her classmates and be up to date with things.

I believe Apple's furniture were hand -me-downs from her mom (and her mother before her) due to her love of tradition and wanting to be like her mother and had the white fabric dyed red.

Goldie Loches

Goldie's dorm would be similar to Blondie's minus the bear motifs. I think it would be interesting if see were afraid of bears even before her story began which would be ironic considering Blondie loves them.

Seeing how she was the editor of the school's newspaper so she may have had a typewriter and cameras in her room.

Pinocchio (Pine Oak)

Pinocchio's dorm room would have equipment to keep him in shape such as paints, strings, saws, hammer, etc .

His room would have motifs from his story like crickets and whales.

I see him as a prankster type (not as bad as Kitty or her mother) so he probably built things as jokes, but never cause any harm to anyone.

Sleeping Beauty (Sweet Briar Rose)

Sleeping Beauty's dorm would be cozy central with lots of pillows due to her sleeping curse and for safety due to falling asleep anywhere.

Her room would be covered in briar thorns and have a spinning wheel.

Beauty (Peace Rose) & the Beast (Wilbur)

Peace Rose room was most likely the traditional princess room with a lot of stuff animals mostly lions, bears, boars, etc. hinting her future relationship with the beast in her story.

Wilbur had the traditional prince bedroom with no motifs due to him being a generic prince. It wasn't until after Legacy Day did he decided to have monster and rose motifs to his room.

Huntsman (Hunt)

Hunt's room most likely resembled a hunting cabin with with dead deer heads and traps on the walls.

He would also have a collection of axes and knives both which would be used in his stories.

Rapunzel (Violet)

Just like her daughters before her she was sent to live in a tower during her school years.

Her dorm had more floral motifs than hair/comb ones and the only way she could leave her rooms was if she had a roommate with a similar destiny or letting her hair down.

Jack Beanstalk

Jack's dorm was overrun with tree limbs which he used as practice for when he would climb the beanstalk in his tale.

His motifs would be plants (beanstalks) and geese.

I can see him having a loft bed due to all the climbing he does in his story.

Snow King and Snow Queen (Warrin and Lucia)

Warrin's dorm was definitely ice themed with hockey equipment. His dorm room would be similar to his ice palace.

Lucia was a generic princess until Legacy Day and her motifs became snow, but I do think her motifs were crystals and she combined the two.

King Charming (Dashing)

Dashing's dorm lived up to the name with royal, regal, and fancy decor and sword motifs. He would also have a collection of trophies and swords. Also, the Charming family crest would be everywhere.

Wonderlanders: Due to the Wonderlanders going to school once a year there was no need for them to attend Ever After High School. In fact, they only came during Legacy Year to sign the Storybook of Legends.

Cheshire Cat / Queen of Hearts/ Red Queen/

Cheshire's dorm had cat motifs that was a loft bed situation. I feel her dorm would resemble where we first saw her in 'Spring Unfairest'.

Heart's dorm had heart and croquet motifs and was similiar to the card castle. Honestly, it would look like Lizzie's dorm minus the sewing items.

Red's dorm would have horses and chess piece motifs. Her room would be the standard princess room.

March Hare/ Mad Hatter/ White Rabbit

The March Hare would have hare and tea team motifs.

For the Mad Hatter he would have hat and tea motifs. His room would be littered with tea pots everywhere and his hat signatures he used to cover the walls in detention in 'Way Too Wonderland'. I can see him sharing a bunkbed with the March Hare during Legacy Year at Ever After High.

The White Rabbit had rabbit and clock motifs in his dorm room. I also see his room littered with calendars, to-do list, and notes to make sure he's never late or forgets anything.

12/12/2017: Harry and his friends kill 15 boars during German hunting trip (Meghan's not happy). Harry and Meghan take credit for William and Kate showing a little PDA on an engagement, while Meghan merches her parka. Later, William and Harry attend the Star Wars premiere.

12/13/2017: Kensingon Palace officially confirms Meghan is spending Christmas with the royals. Meghan is revealed as Google's most-searched celebrity of 2017. Meghan merches her handbags, especially Strathberry's, and modernizes the monarchy.

A UK survey finds that a majority of their respondents are unhappy with Harry's engagement:

67% of women surveyed are devastated by the engagement announcement.

20% of overall respondents prefer Harry to be single.

57% of respondents are against Harry marrying Meghan.

And Meghan leaks that Kate has taken her under her wing to protect her from negative parts of royal life. She tells The Express that "Harry is like a brother to Kate and she has never seen him so happy."

12/14/2017: Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, announces that he expects to preside over the royal wedding. In the morning, the royals attend a service for Grenfell Tower at St. Paul's Cathedral (Meghan isn't allowed) and they gather again in the afternoon for The Queen's annual Windsor Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace (Meghan is invited). In the evening, the Kensington Palace Christmas party is held at a nearby restaurant that Harry and Meghan may or may not have attended (it's claimed they left early) while William and Kate are papped leaving.

Meghan merches Strathberry again and she is named the #4 Fashion Influencer of the Year, besting Kate who comes in at #5. (I really doubt Kate cares about this.)

12/15/2017: Kensington Palace announces the wedding date. Palace gift shops begin selling engagement memorabilia. Harry visits Sandhurst Academy and awards Cadet of the Year. Idris Elba shows support for Meghan while Meghan merches tea tree oil.

12/16/2017: Meghan teases a Canada tour post-wedding again.

12/17/2017:

The Daily Mail reminds us that Meghan is attending royal Christmas.

Harry announces that he has interviewed Barack Obama for BBC Radio 4 Today, but the interview won't air until the end of the month.

The Chill Pill is essentially a pill that can does the same thing to enemies or allies, and can be helpful or hurtful depending on the situation. It heals any troops in its range's health, but also slows them down.

This is an interesting idea because of its uses. You can use it to hinder the opponent's troops, or to help yours. Or in specific situations, maybe even both. It would be interesting to see in a real game.

This was kinda a lazy post, because I thought of it on the spot, but it's not like anyone reads these posts anyway, so...

XX JUDGMENT - Caleb Winters and Zane Zyll Change of position, renewal, outcome Reversed: Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity, deliberation, decision, sentence

So Caleb and Zane like Charity and Avril are meant to parallel the “what could have been” for each other. They (Char and Av) both discovered their powers at a young age and both had a lot of trouble navigating on their own. Avril confided in Zane only to be met with fear. To him, a child himself, this wasn’t his sister but a monster. He tried to kill her. He was too afraid to try and understand. Avril ran away for her own survival, barely alive before Aero found and rescued her. Now, she’s estranged from her entire family who thinks her to be dead and covered up her supposed murder to protect Zane. 

On the other hand there is Caleb who has always had a much higher tolerance for weird and paranormal. When Charity came to him, he was immediately receptive and asked what he could do to help. For him, taking care of his little sister was the only option. He didn’t entirely understand necromancy despite later learning about their father’s and uncle’s intimate history with it, but he loved Charity and was willing to learn for her. 

They both ultimately passed judgment on their sisters. For Zane, he was the executioner. For Caleb, he was her confidant. Avril grew up with trust issues and a horribly broken sense of self worth. Charity grew up trusting easily which may or may not have been to her detriment. The two girls clash at the beginning because Avril can’t trust Charity while Charity is willing to trust Avril despite how rough their start is because Ilum and Kithara love her. 

When Zane comes back into Avril’s life and he learns she is still alive, he is forced to reconcile with what he’s done to her. 

This was much longer than the others but consider that I’m talking about four characters at once. Ha.

VII THE CHARIOT - Zieka Drugov Succor, providence, war, triumph, presumption, vengeance, trouble Reversed: Riot, quarrel, dispute, litigation, defeat

Zieka is quite literally a nepo baby for lack of a better word. Due to her bloodline, her becoming a pack leader isn’t so much an option as it is an expectation and inevitability. As such, she was raised to be reverential and level-headed despite the inherent passion that burns in her chest. As the story goes on, Z breaks more rules. From outwardly loving Madison to aiding Ellard to saving Charity’s life to killing one of the pack leaders, she forges her own path through kindness and violence all drawn from that same fire inside of her. For her, the stakes are higher. There are so many more expectations placed upon her. So many more eyes constantly watching her. She has to work twice as hard, be twice as vicious, as her male counterparts while still maintaining the poise and elegance of a pack royal. Her character arc is about unlearning toxic ideals for one but also for allowing her passion, her fire, to blaze high and free.

XXI THE WORLD - The Prophet Assured success, route, voyage, emigration, flight, change of place Reversed: Inertia, fixity, stagnation, permanence 

So this guy is the most powerful psychic in the world. In exchange for vivid visions, the ability to take and dole out memories, and mind reading, he is left blind, though he's able to “see” in other ways. He’s a broker based in Vegas who uses people’s memories as currency. He knows things about the world, about specific people, they may not even know about themselves. He’s sort of a true neutral in that he has no personal stake in the war and is only there for business and his own amusement.

VI THE LOVERS - Helena Zairi and Ellard Charaux Attraction, love, beauty, trials overcome Reversed: Failure, foolish designs 

The story centers around Hel and Ellard because they begin on opposite sides of a war. For Ellard, meeting Hel was a taste of what life could be like outside his pack. As for Helena, she didn’t know Ellard was a werewolf–a hunter of her kind–but was attracted to his warmth and kindness. Hel, having spellcaster eyes, can’t hide her nature as easily. Once Hel is adopted by Aero, she becomes a target. To test Ellard’s loyalty, his pack tasks him with earning her trust and killing her as a way to provoke Aero into re-entering the battle he left behind. But, as it happens, the more Ellard gets to know her, he begins to fall in love with her for real. When it blows up and Helena feels that deep cut of betrayal, it provokes her to fight instead. It isn’t until Ellard is faced with the decision to go through with it or defect that he realizes he can only choose Helena and the freedom and safety she gave him over the familiar Poison He Knows. 

So to say their relationship goes through trials and failure is a given but more importantly, it’s how they learn from those failures and grow stronger together. Their love is a catalyst for new alliances. For them both, that love is equal parts a reprieve and an achilles heel. Because love is as beautiful as it is scary.

Question: How does Meghan Markle feel about Prince William being in America for Earthshot?

Interpretation: She feels overshadowed and is trying to bring Prince William down.

Card One: The Ace of Pentacles. Aces are new beginnings, and Pentacles are about finances and the material world. Meghan sees this visit by Prince William as a chance to make money. The card shows Poseidon, the god of the sea, rising up out of the water. Water represents emotions in the language of the tarot. Meghan wants to use this event emotionally to create new financial opportunities for herself, either by emotionally blackmailing Prince William so she can be a part of the event (which didn't work if she tried it), or linking herself to him in some emotional way (such as the invitation of the Sussexes for Prince William to visit them while they were in America, an invitation that was put out by their PR and not taken up by Prince William. The emotional bit here was linking herself to Prince William as his sister in law and using that to get money somehow). Neither of these approaches worked.

Meghan will continue to try and make money out of this visit by her brother in law, either by playing up the family tie between them or by trying to stir people up against Prince William (using emotions against him) as she paints herself as the victim of some perceived injustice for the sympathy and the financial opportunities it brings her. Meghan wants to make money from this visit in what ever way she can.

Card Two: The Nine of Wands. In the Rider Waite tarot, this is a card of holding your ground or your position in the face of adversity, and this is the energy that I am getting from this card. Meghan sees this visit to the USA by Prince William as undermining her position. It specifically shows up and destroys all her attempts to be seen as royal, as it shows what a real royal visit looks like, and whatever Meghan has attempted to do in the past is clearly not royal. It also shows very clearly that Meghan is not included in high profile royal events, and that also undermines her 'royal' status. She is being shown to be not a member of the royal family in a very public way (as if she was an important member she would be included in Earthshot somehow).

The card shows the ship the Argo navigating through the clashing rocks. This is how Meghan feels - the visit of Prince William is like the two rocks, set to crush her between them so she sinks without a trace. She feels that she has to be sneaky and navigate her passage through the two rocks/her actions around the royal visit so she survives relatively unscathed. In the story, the Argo lost the projection off its stern as it went through the rocks, but was otherwise unscathed. Meghan is hoping to emerge with her royal status intact in a like manner.

Wands are PR, so I expect Meghan to produce PR around this visit (yes, I know that is like saying I expect her to breathe). As she is in a position of having to try and hold her ground, I expect her to try to bring Prince William down and crush him before he can undermine her 'royal' status any further. She may release PR to show how much better and more 'royal' she is than Prince William, or to try and overshadow him and take the media attention for herself in some way (such as the Ripple of Hope award). She might attempt to ride on the coattails of the Earthshot publicity (e.g. by equating it with her bought for award). She might even attempt to play the 'Happy Family with my brother in law" card, although that seems extremely far fetched.

This is another card with water in it, and water represents emotions in the tarot. The water here is turbulent leading up to the rocks, and smooth behind them. I think that Meghan is feeling a lot of churned up emotions around this visit, and that will be reflected in the PR that she puts out. After the visit, when Prince William is back in the UK, she may even release "secret visit with William and Kate" PR or "olive branch" PR, to show how things are supposedly smoothed over between them, as the water on the other side of the rocks is smooth and calm, although that will depend if she can make it seem possible with both their schedules.

The Nine of Wands is traditionally a card of mental illness, so that topic may appear in some way as well.

Card Three: The Page of Swords. Pages are messages, and/or the beginnings of things, and the Page of Swords is particularly about communication, especially of the spiteful kind. In this deck it is one of my cards for gossip, especially spiteful gossip. Carrying on from the card above, this tells me that Meghan is going to be up to her old tricks on social media, communicating/spreading nasty and spiteful gossip about Prince William to try and bring him down (and/or about his wife, Princess Catherine).

The card shows one of the gods of the winds, whose name escapes me at the moment, but like the wind reaches everywhere all over the world, Meghan wants social media to spread her nasty gossip all over the world. This approach has never worked for her in the past, so I don't know why she thinks it will work now, but it is most likely what she is planning to do. Swords are media as well as social media, so she may foster some nastiness in the media about Earthshot (I'm thinking about how her squad helped lay the ground for and fan the flames of the biased and negative reports from the Caribbean Tour).

However it materialises. there should be some attempt at spiteful gossip on social media and/or other media, either creating it, spreading it, and/or supporting it.

Pages can also be children, and if this was an earth or water card I would suspect an attack on the Cambridge children, but it is air (swords are air signs) and the only air baby is Lili, and I can't see how she would be involved with this (apart from an obvious video or full face reveal for attention).

Underlying Energy: The Five of Pentacles. This is the card of exile, of being and outcast, and that is exactly how Meghan feels. She feels left out in the cold.

If you look at the card, it shows the craftsman Daedalus leaving the city of Athens because he murdered his nephew - the city is barred to him because of his acts. This is how Meghan feels - shut out, and shut out of something that is rich (the pentacles on the house) and stable and hers by right (as Daedalus is by birth a citizen of Athens). The fact that she has shut herself out of the event by her own actions, like Daedalus was exiled from Athens because of his actions, just does not occur to her. In Meghan's mind all her actions have been justified and there is no reason to shut her out of Earthshot; she should be there raking in the money as the star of the show (I repeat, this is in Meghan's mind and not in anyone else's mind).

The energy of this card is as if Meghan expected to be made welcome at Earthshot, to be asked to present one of the prizes, to be an honoured guest at the event. Yes, that is completely delusional thinking, but that is the energy. Meghan feels as if she has been shut out/exiled/left out of something that she views as her right (The 'I'm a member of your family so you have to include me' thinking, as well as the 'You have to include me because the event is in America and I'm the American in the family' thinking).

The energy is of Meghan seeing Earthshot as this big event with lots of money making opportunities, and her not being happy that she has been excluded from the event. There is an energy of injustice around this shutting out, as if Meghan thinks that it is not fair that she has been excluded as she didn't do anything to deserve it. Because of this energy of injustice, there is a desire for revenge in the energy as well - you didn't include me so I am going to bring you down - that sort of energy.

Conclusion: If Prince William had said he would visit Meghan, or if he had included her in the Earthshot Award Ceremony, she would have enjoyed his visit to the USA. As it is, she feels that she has been exiled/excluded/left out in the cold, and that upsets her. By not including her in his events, Prince William has denied her the opportunity to make money and to raise her profile (and hence make more money). Instead, he has very clearly shown that he does not consider her royal enough or important enough to participate (In Meghan's eyes). This is a threat to Meghan's status as a royal, a status that she uses to get deals and make money. She feels under threat and that she has to fight to maintain her royal status (such as it is, most media already refer to her as an ex-Royal).

Meghan will fight to hold on to what little status she has left using PR and spiteful gossip. She will most likely use PR to try and link herself to Earthshot in some way, to use the event for her own advantage. At the same time she will use PR and spiteful gossip to try and pull Prince William down/smear his name, so her position looks better. She wants to use his visit and the Earthshot awards to promote herself and to grab every money making opportunity that she can from it (including things like using it to keep her in the news because of upcoming projects).
