okay so mark and clarissa marry. and they're happy for a while, they really are! as long as clarissa ignores that kind of suffocating hole in her heart. yeah. its all fine. until, well... samantha starts visiting again! she disappeared for a while after the wedding, keeping a distance that clarisse wasn't sure what to make of, but now she was back to her old self, and suddenly that dull aching feeling ROARED to life. slowly but surely, because clarissa is a smart woman at the end of the day, her feelings became undeniable. there was one problem though... mark. mark, who loved her with all the fervor of a golden retriever, and who would be heartbroken to be rejected once again, after everything with his dad. but when she hears rumours of an old woman in the woods near that one aubergine farm who makes all sorts of magic potions, and the chance of mark's love simply... disappearing? well it isn't exactly ethical now, but could that be the kindest choice?

Gotta say, it’s fun to see AJ playing an Everyman type of character, I feel like that’s not something we see very often. Like when Mark answered the phone I had a moment of “oh yeah he is just like. A guy huh. A guy who got dealt a bit of a shitty hand.” Meanwhile everyone around him is falling apart over this DIY wedding and all the other shit they got going on.
