I dont know if this is a unpopular opinion but, I need to come clean and say Lizzie is actually one of my favorite characters and her relationship with Nigel was actually so investing and interesting and like WAAAAAAA THEY WERE MY EVERYTHING LIKE THEY WERE SO IN LOVE BUT NIGEL KEPT PUTTING HIS WORK FIRST TO SAVE FELLOW KIDS AND HER BUT FORGOT TO ACTUALLY BE HER BOYFRIEND AS WELL AND NOT JUST HER PROTECTOR WAAAAAAAAA. Yeah Lizzie has her bad moments but so does Nigel. But they always work it out in the end till Lizzie realizes she’ll always be second place.

They’re oddly so tragic and also like can we talk about how no one makes fun of Lizzie for her weight like, the episode she’s introduced, Hoagie and Wally don’t make fun of Nigel for dating a fat girl they make fun of him cause he just has a girlfriend. Its a weird subversion for most cartoons especially early 2000’s like I know its still shitty they make fun of Nigel but they eventually just grow to hate Lizzie not cause she’s fat but cause of just who she is so like, valid haters ig. They hate whats on the inside as they should.

What made me like love them fr was Operation P.O.O.L like thats probably one of their best episodes together showing their dynamic. Like i kinda rewatch that episode over and over just for them vs Eizzle and -1 cause THEY’RE INTERESTING OKAY IM SORRY I LIKE WATCHING THEM GET INTO SHENANIGANS

Anyway TLDR I will forever stand for Lizzie Devine our icon, i support woman’s wrongs. She’s just misunderstood officer!!!! But no really i really like her character and yeah she’s annoying sometimes but has her good moments where she like kinda carries tbh.

Operation: H.O.L.I.D.A.Y.

I figured that this episode should naturally follow the previous post. Whereas in Operation B.U.T.T., Number One was forced to take a break on the beach, here we finally see him relaxing in an island paradise. Of course, it's still part of the KND Jamaican leader retreat. Moreover, this episode continues to make callbacks to Nigel's large rear and preference for Rainbow Monkey Underwear.

In fact overall, I like how so many disparate aspects of the show play a role in a relatively simple episode. We get more of Nigel and Lizzie's ongoing dysfunctional relationship, of side characters in the KND -- particularly Numhuh 10 and Numbuh 1 Love --and various plot elements from other episodes -- like the Hamsters and Nurse Claiborne's Apple Crumbles.

Also as a side note, we get a pan shot of the exterior of the Jamaican treehouse in Operation I.T.

Well, she thinks she gets along quite nice with her! Their normal conversation is about their partners, but sometimes they talk about their own interests or gossip a little, well, Lizzie does. But if Lizzie needs to clear her head about Nigel's 'KND stuff' she immediately goes to Reyna to rant about it.

Continuing with the class president arc that I started showcasing in the previous post, we have the episode that acts as the epic climax to Jimmy's villain arc. This one really speaks to the strengths of the show. There's a memorable film parody, a nice blending of various plot elements from other arcs in the series (i.e. the boyfriend helmet and Numbuh One's ongoing relationship with Izzy) and so many amazing shots for me to gush over.

Hence even though most of these shots are stitched ones, there are some regular shots that happened to stand out to me. Of course, it's just a small sample.

The last snitched shot was another tricky one to compose. Unfortunately, the part with Numbuh 5 fighting the Hall Monitor is a bit distorted since the latter shifts his body during the panning shot, but it's the best I was able to get to it.
