“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe.

First up PAUL!!!  PAUL wrote it!   And Paul has given us some big episodes before.  For FItzsimmons fans the big one is FZZT.  But he’s also done...

So he’s done lots of feels and lots of big reveals as well.  So in addition to Fitz’s back story I”m watching for some familiar faces to show back up.  

Then we have David O’Hara as Alistair.   AOS leaves off last names for 2 reasons.  The Character isn’t that important or they are hiding who they really are.  And I’m going with option 2 since David O’Hara isn’t the kind of actor that shows up for a minor rando kind of role.  

Alistair is also a proper Scottish Name.  

I also find the “Defender of Men” thing interesting considering what is going on with Inhumans in the Framework.  

Now the MILLION Dollar question, is he Papa Fitz?  Answer....very possibly...in which case I have a ton of told theories that are coming back up.  Especially ones that involve real world Radcliffe and Papa Fitz being in cahoots.  We still have time to hash things like that out though.  I want to start with rewatching 16 and seeing the promo for 17.   

Since this is the episode where we are getting FItz’s framework Backstory and Fitz mentioned his father in 16, I think that only adds to the odds we see him in the present of via a flashback.  

Now for FItz’s secret:   “No Regrets” – The truth behind Fitz’s turn could bring down all of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The first thing that jumps out at me is the Title, No Regrets.   And AIDA’s fix for fitz seems to be tied to his father and the betrayals.   His father being part of his life, making Fitz the son HE wanted him to be could be a large contributing factor to how Fitz is in the Framework.  IE what he did to please his father.  We also know that Fitz didn’t regret not finding his father.  He had no interest in doing so despite having the resources.  He affirmed this even more he had no interest in getting the message from Papa Fitz from Radcliffe.  

However, we’ve established that AIDA didn’t have the hostages best interests in mind with the fixes...rarther most seemed geared to her achieving her own goals.  She needed Fitz as part of her plan...needed him a specific way and Jemma out of the picture.  

“The truth behind Fitz;s turn....”  does sound like FItz was once part of Shield (meaning he could have known Jemma...hazzah!)   It is also a hint that Shield did something big enough to get the loyal through it all Fitz to turn on them.  My early hunch is it had something to do with the Mission before the Man.  Or something that just didn’t sit right with FItz.  I also feel that Fitz’s turn will be tied too what really happened to Jemma and AIDA twisting/manipulating him for her.
