I am so glad the new kdramas are bringing back the specific brand of loser men. You know which brand I'm talking about. The Ahn "min min" Minhyuk brand of loser men and I'm loving it. The "I worship this goddess and I'm so in love with her and I can't believe I get to love her. Oh my gods I love her so much" brand of loser men. And we're being fed so well with lovely runner, love next door, no gain no love, my demon, Cinderella at 2am, Hierarchy, Midnight Romance in Hagwon, doctor slump, Queen of tears, welcome to samdal-ri and even good partner (yes it's one sided but the dedication and yuri's couple too).

We need more fictional loser men who worship women to satiate our eldest independent daughter desires.

Ep9 Love Next Door short review

The ending make me cry when the mom hug seok ryu..coz literally that was what she supposed to do at the first place instead of hiding from her.

It even make her depress.

The good news her ex did not cheat but yup I can see why it ended. The ex could told to her family though instead of just bearing the burden together.

The way she reject seung hyo I got the feeling she don't want the same situation happening with seung hyo as it did with hyeon ju

Thankfully the writernim to make romance on 2nd lead although it supposed to do it with main couple.

The moment when she wish Yeon du is her daughter and the cute moment

Really saved the romance in the episode.

Oh the blowing up dryer ,why her mother hiding the spoon ..could it mean something??🤔

So far I'm staying even thought it's cancer I will see how the writernim will pursue this.

Going to have more crying on next ep

Mini-review:

Look, I'm not gonna lie. I started this drama for a very superficial reason: Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang are one of the most gorgeous couples I've ever seen. And tbh, that's one of the things that kept me watching until the end. The first half was pretty fun, thanks to their will-they-won't-they dynamic and some really funny supporting characters and recurring gags. Unfortunately, it began to drag around the middle part, and then it got more and more boring with each passing episode. By the time the final episode came out, I no longer cared about the plot, the characters or anything else (although the ending itself was quite nice). With all that in mind, I can't help but think My Demon would have worked much better as a movie.

Unpopular opinion no one asked for. It's also the constant victimizing of oneself and the blaming. It keeps rubbing me the wrong way how everything has to go a certain way, the right way, without considering Seok Ryu's feelings

For me, he's written like a whiny female lead. Am I gonna get backlash for this lol. He is cute, gentlemanly, nice, decent and considerate in a lot of ways but it's just not for me. I think this is my pet peeve in a guy irl lmao

When a mutual said this drama writer wrote HCCC and the fl in that drama kept being treated like shit, I didn't really take it seriously

Ik what she meant now, it's not an outright abuse, it's the kind of non consideration for her feelings and she's the one who always has to extend her consideration, spare her feelings for people who's on Her side.

I keep finding reasons to turn me off from this drama lol. I'm just hanging in there to see the end now

Also pls why doesn't the mum want Mo Eum and Dan Ho together? Because he's a single dad? Or because she's probably heard rumors abt him from his previous neighborhood? 😔
