Just realized, Hanto didn't look surprised to see Shouma in drag when they went to confront that Granute...

So they probs met up a bit earlier to discuss their plan to trap him right?

So... imagine Hanto shows up to the meeting place looking around for Shouma... then a girl came up to him. He thought he's gonna hit on and was about to say says he's meeting someone when the "girl" calls him "Karakida-san..."

And, yup, it's Shouma... and he's already in drag.

Hanto was not ready for this. He was not ready to have a gay panic over the Hapipare guy. Who happens to be the Kamen Rider he admired. The same guy that he pinned down on a table the previous night while half naked...

And no, he was definitely not thinking about how pretty he is as a girl. Nope, no siree, nuh uh not today Satan...

Honestly, how much more gay can gavv get? Like really???? Reading a manga about a happy MARRIED COUPLE and wanting to convey the same feeling to Hanto? ALSO SACHIKA OUR GODDESS WHO IMMEDIATELY TOLD SHOUMA TO GIVE HANTO A GIFT INSTEAD OF HERSELF. (yes I'm trying to cope with the rest of the episode with Hanto saying he would kill all the granutes and Shouma feeling even more scared about his real identity...)

It's badly done. It's inconsistent and kinda badly drawn. It's my first animatic. But I still wanted to post it so pls be kind.

This has been living in my brain rent free for hours and I fear that if I do not let the plot bunny out they will run rampant and I won't be able to do my work tomorrow lol

Hanto found himself pinning Shouma onto the table, breathing heavily. He felt an itch in his throat as if he'd yelled himself hoarse, but his mind is all fuzzy- had he been yelling? He was so, so angry. Over everything.

Nothing seems to go my way. Even when I was just trying to do the right thing... I can't even keep his own identity safe, how can I save people as a Kamen Rider...? His frustration at it all was palpable, his hands shook as they held Shouma's clothes in fists.

Shouma looked up at him. His eyes had a bit of fear in them- clearly scared that he'd go further to satisfy his wrath- but there was sympathy in them too. "Karakida-san..." He said softly, sympathy and pity in his tone.

Somehow, this of all things broke through the red Hanto was seeing. "Damnit..." He choked, his vision blurring with tears, his angry hold on Shouma's clothes loosening. Some of them dripped down onto Shouma's face. "Sorry... I'm a mess... None of this is your fault... I'm being an ungrateful bastard, aren't I?"

Shouma shook his head. "No, it's okay." He lifted one of his hands to caress Hanto's face, wiping away his tears with the pad of his thumb, and Hanto shuddered under the gentle touch.

God, he's so cute, Hanto thought, So kind too. I was a jerk to him and he's being nice to me. And he's Gavv, too...

I like him. I really, really like him. I wanna kiss him so bad.

"Karakida-san? Are you- mmf?"

I wonder if after the fight between Shouma and Hanto when he finds out about the fact that the other is half Granute, Hanto has to save Shouma.

Like, maybe Shouma ends in a fight with the Granutes or his siblings but detransforms(WARNING KR BUILD SPOILERS: similar to when sento did after finding out he is the devil's scientist) because he feels guilty about hiding his true identity.

So of course Hanto comes to the rescue and when Shouma tells him to run he says "if I left you here, it would only be adding to the people I let the Granute take away from me in front of my eyes".

I think it would be a really cool parallel to what Shouma said this last episode and it would indicate how Hanto has grown and started caring for him.

I really liked todays' episodes dynamic. The fact that Hanto is so concentrated on finding the crab Granute but thanks to Shouma and Sachika's he gets to cool off a little.

Even if he acts like he is losing time and is busy, the fact that he got some time to relax even if it was just to dress up in some dumb costume.

This whole Kamen rider thing is clearly taking over Hanto's life, even the fact that he says in next episodes preview that he is okay with getting abducted so that he can reach the Granutes world indicates this.

He is putting his life and health on the line without realizing how much he is risking because he thinks no one cares about him so he has nothing left to lose.

What he doesent realize is that Shouma actually cares about him, and so does Sachika who is clearly trying to get to know and include him more(even if just because she thinks that he could be a good friend for Shouma.

Hanto needs something or someone to ground him and I feel like he will end not realizing how much these two matter for him until something will happen to one of them just like with his mom and mentor...

Following my last post, if Shouma actually made a cake for Hanto as a gift it would make the perfect opportunity for a Valentines episode where Hanto gifts Shouma some chocolate on valentine's day.

Or maybe Shouma himself does, not knowing about humans traditions but seeing chocolate everywhere

Shouma worries at the end of the episode that if Hanto finds out he is half granutes he will hate him or stop trusting him.

But I wonder if the opposite could also be true. Like, Shouma know that Hanto has been modified but he doesent know that Hanto himself choose that. Like as far as Shouma knows Hanto was modified against his will, just like Shouma was born from a non consensual relationship.

If Shouma were to find out that Hanto himself choose to become like this I don't think he would be very happy....
