Guys I can't take it with all these posts about Hanto's sanity slowly fading as he realizes he is completely lonely and can't trust anyone, neither human nor Granute...

Now don't misunderstand, I'm a sucker for whump, especially for my favorite characters. And I do like the idea of it happening, but I wouldn't be able to live every week with the anxietyyyyy

I really hope that if it happens Shouma is going to be the one who brings him back...

I don't really think it's character assassination because Hanto's hatred for the Granutes is pretty well established, so his lashing out (especially at Shouma who he perceives to have been lying about his intentions the whole time) makes sense from a narrative standpoint. Him turning against Shouma was inevitable the longer Shouma didn't tell him the truth, and especially because Hanto still hasn't had a positive experience with Granutes. Heck, even Shouma's lies of omission now count as a negative experience.

What I fear is that Suga, being the bastard that he is, would manipulate Hanto somehow, and use the Dark Choco Gochizou somehow as an incentive for Hanto. And Hanto's sanity is bound to slip more when he realizes that asshole is in cahoots with the Stomach family.

So... yeah. We're in for a rough ride.

This has been living in my brain rent free for hours and I fear that if I do not let the plot bunny out they will run rampant and I won't be able to do my work tomorrow lol

Hanto found himself pinning Shouma onto the table, breathing heavily. He felt an itch in his throat as if he'd yelled himself hoarse, but his mind is all fuzzy- had he been yelling? He was so, so angry. Over everything.

Nothing seems to go my way. Even when I was just trying to do the right thing... I can't even keep his own identity safe, how can I save people as a Kamen Rider...? His frustration at it all was palpable, his hands shook as they held Shouma's clothes in fists.

Shouma looked up at him. His eyes had a bit of fear in them- clearly scared that he'd go further to satisfy his wrath- but there was sympathy in them too. "Karakida-san..." He said softly, sympathy and pity in his tone.

Somehow, this of all things broke through the red Hanto was seeing. "Damnit..." He choked, his vision blurring with tears, his angry hold on Shouma's clothes loosening. Some of them dripped down onto Shouma's face. "Sorry... I'm a mess... None of this is your fault... I'm being an ungrateful bastard, aren't I?"

Shouma shook his head. "No, it's okay." He lifted one of his hands to caress Hanto's face, wiping away his tears with the pad of his thumb, and Hanto shuddered under the gentle touch.

God, he's so cute, Hanto thought, So kind too. I was a jerk to him and he's being nice to me. And he's Gavv, too...

I like him. I really, really like him. I wanna kiss him so bad.

"Karakida-san? Are you- mmf?"
