I think my favorite house MD fandom joke is when people type out Chases dialogue in the most horrible phonetic australian accent possible. Example:

guys guys Stormbringer Cookie stumbling upon Dark Choco and being like "oh hey you're Dark Cacao's kid", and then just takes him like "your my kid now actually🥰🥰" and Dark Choco the whole time is like "?????" (+bonus Dark Cacao going "I miss my son, I miss him so much :(" and Stormbringer just like "TEEHEE I HAVE A KID NOW TEEHEE :3")

I'm so conflicted

On one hand, they gave us two cool Dark Choco designs to work with. We also have several cute moment like illusion!Dark Choco missing his father, the flashback, the final scene etc and I love those very much!

On the other, what do you mean he doesn't even physically appear and only gets mentioned in a couple of lines???

I not mad, just sad. They shouldn't have shown him in the trailer if he's not going to play a (bigger) role in the episode. They should've left him out completely sans his Magic Candy, letting us guessing/ thinking whether he'll appears or not. That way the back to back Dark Choco inclusion near the end will be stronger, we can finish the EP off with a final image of Dark Choco looking at the kingdom from afar, hinting at the eventual father-son reunion...

Anyways, I'm gonna go write a fanfic where Dark Cacao and Dark Choco traveled through EP 4 together now

If you squirm inside them, you're met with a stern,sharp "Stay still!", or a deep growl.

They do not tell you that they're going to take you somewhere safe, instead they scan you with their eyes then immediately go with the process,not wasting a single second.

Preds who let their actions speak for themselves, who let their innards do the comforting and the holding.

The quiet brooding rogue in your party, resulting to an unorthodox method of helping you when things are too dire.

The dragon in it's lair, aiming to punish you for daring to steal from it's hoard.

The fabled giant that everyone feared, finally finding you.

A dark knight rescuing a peasant.

Like, I love sweet preds,And I love evil preds, and I love bastard preds.

But give me edgelord preds, Give me people who are so hardened on the outside you literally have to reach inside them to find that softness.

Give me edgy preds that only trusts a single person with their innards.

Every time i watch that show i am frothing at the mouth about the cinematography. That's probably why I'm so drawn to do screenshot redraws!! This show just really has its aesthetics down to a T.

I went into House MD looking for some silly TV but have found it to be some of the best creative brain food I've come across (it is also still incredibly silly TV).

i admire the house md fans who the show inspired to become medical professionals. Like. You're dedicating the rest of your life to studying possibly the hardest academic subjects known to mankind, due to the impact of something that shaped your outlook on life and your values, causing you to choose a path that you know will help others.

Meanwhile I am here as a useless actor-wannabe, drooling over how well Hugh Laurie plays House, not understanding a single word anyone says.

Ive only really watched seasons 1-3 so this might age SO poorly but honestly i could be an apologist for any one of the og ducklings.

Cameron subjecting her morals in places where they don’t belong and letting her emotions influence her medicine? Nah i love when a women is unapologetically herself. She really is just a girl trying to figure out her identity and find comfort in that control after a major trauma and i will never fault her for that.

Chase being a little rat and a stuck-up hater? I love complex characters, his actions (while not always justifiable) are so trauma informed and it just makes me want to root for him to learn how to be a better person. Also im a terminal people pleaser too, i get it man, i get it.

Foreman being a CHRONIC hater and having a lack of empathy? What, he’s so unbelievably self aware and self critical. His high standards for himself bleed out on the people around him, i will never hate a guy for caring too much. if im being real, he IS the moment.

I love how the vision mystic flour shows with Choco is arguably motivational, like it shows a future where his son returns and becomes a great king and hes in the altar of the fallen and Choco misses his dad like- if anything that would just motivate cacao to keep on going not give up, like dude misses his son, he wants to make amends and seeing his son follow in his footsteps and become an amazing king and bring a new era of peace to the kingdom would be something that would arguably bring Cacao pride and reassure him that he didn't completely fuck up as a dad.

Like idk I feel like if anything he'd want to reach a future like that, he'd want his son to reach his full potential and become an amazing ruler, that vision didn't feel futile it felt insparational for him to reach for and see a future similar to that but like- one where he can be there for it and more importantly be there for his son

Lowkey a hot take, but I hate Susan with a burning passion (Liu's love interest), and I hate when people draw ship art of them like?? could they not make her be a classmate?? Why was she his nurse? For one thing, Liu was clearly a minor when he was taken to the hospital. The second thing is that I'm pretty sure it's frowned upon to date your patients as a nurse??

SPOILERS FOR EP 4!

I’m just going to say it now, I may be a bit biased because of my hyperfixation, but I’d love to hear your guys feedback!

I have nothing BUT praise about this update.

The writing is stellar, the music is phenomenal as always, the things they managed to pump out with such a short deadline is amazing. I’m happy with every aspect of it. Especially the new awakening system.

And, I know you guys are disappointed Choco didn’t come back, just hear me out.

It further shows the devs amazing writing skills, and Cacao’s character as a whole. He isn’t GOING to actively search for his son, he’s allowing his son to come back to him when he’s ready, Cacao now having realised what he’s done and what kind of damage neglect can have. Which hey, is quite the achievement as most parents who neglect don’t realise letalone apologise.

He isn’t expecting him to come back, but if he will, he’ll be ready with open arms.

And I love every bit of that.

And i’m just gonna say it now
