I'm like 5 chapters into Pet Shop of Horrors and it's honestly a little embarrassing how much this guy was brewed in a lab to appeal to me specifically

He's vaguely sinister he's deeply silly he's beautiful he's super mysterious and he's a little bit fruity. He runs a needful things-esque pet shop he has an intense sweet tooth and his dentist is inexplicably a dominatrix. He already has the beginnings of a weird gay thing going on with the detective that's investigating the deaths the pets he sells keep causing.

#count D ily already #this manga has been a bit weird about chinatown and chinese people so far in a way that unfortunately doesn't surprise me #given it was written in the 90s #but otherwise it's been quite fun so far #only like 2 of the chapters have really felt like horror (1 and 3)#but D is fun and the less spooky stories are still quite good #invasion of the frogs #pet shop of horrors #andie reads psoh

Lanzhou beef noodle cats

They mostly only have locations in NY but there’s this beef noodle place called Dun Huang where they make their noodles hand pulled in house. Highly recommend. I have dreams about their noodles sometimes

I’ve been spending so much money recently but i can’t help it I’m like I’ll never eat sesame noodles ever again for a few months? What am I supposed to do not buy them?
